Basement Bathroom Install

I have a 1950 built house that needs a bathroom put in the basement. It has a cast Iron main stack (doesn't leak) which I assume should be switched to the PVC. The bathrrom will have a sink, shower stall and toilet. I would also like my basement framed as it's pretty raw as it stands. This is only the start of my projects as I have an upstairs bathroom that needs to be re done as well as a kitchen but I need to get this project done first.

Concern: Price | Budget: $1,000 - $5,000

Kitchen countertops & backsplash

Kitchen countertops & backsplash: Kitchen is basically a 10' x 10' U shape, counter is split into 3 pieces: An L shape 10' long & 3' over, one piece 20" wide, one piece 52" wide. Add to that the 14" wide, 10' long breakfast bar. Backsplash is only needed along the shorter pieces of counter, not the 10' length. Sink & tap may also be replaced. Open to suggestions for materials/design. Cupboards and floors are to remain as is.

Basement renovation plus bathroom Reno

Basement is approximately 800 sq feet. The exterior walls have been framed and insulated with drywall on most including a wall splitting room in half. Plan would be to have one half made into a bathroom with a room that could act as a bedroom or family room. Other side has furnace a laundry so looking at framing in furnace. Allowing for storage plus area for laundry. Up stairs I need to renovate one bathroom. Currently there is a large tub but no shower. There is not enough room for separate shower so looking at incorporating current tub into a shower as well.

Concern: Price | Budget: $20,000 - $50,000

Complete construction of 2 sheds, short timeline

I am looking to have 2 structures built to function as outdoor projection doghouses. They will house 6 very large projectors, projecting on the TELUS buildings in both Edmonton and Calgary. They will need to be completely weather proof, and have a thermostatically controlled heating and cooling system (to keep the ambient room temperature in the projector's operating range of (50F – 100F), and a work light. We'll need to work with you before construction starts on the design requirements, the structures need to conform to building codes, and will need full permits as applicable. They need to be visually clean from the outside, shingled and sided, have a locking man door and some specific structures inside including 2 angled shelves capable of supporting 700 lbs, in the form of 3 x 235 lbs projectors in 2 rows of 3. Power to the projectors will be supplied to our Motion Labs 200A distro which also has 20A UGrounds to run the HVAC and lighting. The sheds need to have weatherproof slots on one side to allow each of the 6 lenses of the projectors to protrude. They will need to be built to code, and sturdy enough to be lifted by a sling crane. The designs will differ slightly between locations. The Calgary version, which I will have trucked from Edmonton, can be of a standard height with the bottom row of projectors 24” from the base, the second row 30” above it. It will be in a place that is not open to the public. The Edmonton version needs to have the bottom row of projectors at least 8' from the ground with the second row 30” above it. It will be at ground level of the TELUS Plaza and I don't want people doing shadow puppets in the projection beams. We'll need some considerations inside of this shed to help us lift the projectors to the top row, maybe some built in steps of benches. Now the bad news, I won't get confirmation that project is proceeding until Monday. If it is a go, I will need them constructed by Dec 9th to facilitate trucking to Calgary and installation the week of the 12th. There is a small amount of play with those dates. I look forward to talking to someone from your office very soon. Please call my cell phone as I am out of the office until Wednesday. Thank you!

Commerical, move wall, create office area.

Retail medical supply company in the Edmonton requires; Remove an existing 9' 8" non-load bearing wall, reposition 7' and recreate. Add an additional perpendicular 17.5" foot wall to include 2 x 4'x3' windows and 36" entrance door. Price should include demolition, removal of all debris and installation of all new material. Since we will continue to operate our busy retail operation during this construction phase, care and diligence must be taken into consideration so as not to disrupt our customers or staff. Condo Baseboards and Minor Laminate Repair

We have a 600 sq.ft condo that needs new baseboards in the kitchen, closet, living room and bathroom. My estimate is about 60 feet of baseboards. I have picked out the baseboards I like from home depot. I just need someone to paint/cut/install. I had laminate flooring installed last year and there is an area along the edge where the underlay is uneven/overlapped so the plank drops when you step on it. I have a few extra planks so I'm hoping that can be fixed too. We have installed vinyl tile ourselves in the kitchen/entrance but may be interested in having a contractor install the rest in the bathroom depending on the cost.

Concern: Quality | Budget: $100 - $500
