Atlas Granite supplied and installed porcelain countertops in my kitchen. The products delivered were cracked through (full thickness) and reported immediately. Atlas refused to perform any repairs even though the conditions of their "warranty" were fully met. Keep away from this company, they have a low quality of workmanship and don't stand behind their own warranty. Run from this company.
Honestly an incredible experience. The selections of the materials and the way they are displayed are simply stunning. We had done our research and had decided to go with porcelain countertops. Atlas easily had the largest & best selection of large porcelain slabs. It was a tough task to make the selection out of 100 plus options. Our salesperson Karen was knowledgeable and helped us with our decision. We just got our countertops last Friday and they look absolutely awesome. In fact we have changed our mind and have decided to do our backsplash in large format porcelain so we will be going back to Atlas.
We had shopped everywhere in Edmonton for countertops and Atlas had the best selection in town. Our visit to their warehouse was totally mind blowing. Little did we know that such a vast selection of granite/Quartz slabs existed. Some of them were literally pieces of art. The template and install process was fast and done when they said it would be done. We will recommend Atlas Granite to our family and friends.
Do not use this company. They are unreliable and you will not be happy with there service. They will lie to you make promises and never deliver.
The customer service is awful and Ricky the owner will not make anything wright when there is a problem and you will have problems!!!!!
The only good thing about this company is there pricing. About 10% under the others. We didn't get the slab we picked out as they double sold it. They made you pay 100% before they would even start cutting the slabs so you get what you get and have no recourse for mistakes. We ordered our sinks to be a flush edged . The bathroom one has a overhang and the kitchen one is flush front and back and recessed on the sides. They offered us a couple cutting boards to accept it the way it is. But still 5 weeks after have never received them. we have been in touch with Connor and Ricky many times about these. Terrible way to run a business. Granite is granite so take your money some where else as trying to deal with these people is not worth it.
Okay........ I do my best to never bash a company as I own one BUT I have been left with no options. I have also decided that starting tomorrow I will make a post and pump some great hard working people that I personally deal with and know at least once a week. I have unfortunately had to deal with Atlas Granite Inc. now for a year. They messed up my counter top right at the start. No big deal it happens and they acknowledged it right away. I even had the owner Ricky out and agree they messed up.....Fast forward a YEAR and the excuses and lies are piling up. I have been VERY VERY patient until today when they didn't show up for the THIRD template. I have had 2 new templates done and been told the new counter is in production.....LMFAO LIES LIES it was never in production. They are playing a game and hoping I will just go away........Well anyone that knows me knows that was a bad idea. They advertise all over Facebook with big sales 80% off.....BS that is only on their screw up pile. It is a BIG pile........ My sales lady Amanda just says she cant do anything yet after reading Google reviews it turns out she is brutal after she gets her money. She also has ZERO issue BASHING every other company in Edmonton. I just want anyone and everyone looking for new counter top to AVOID this place and AVOID the headache and BS I have had to deal with. There are SOOOO many great places to deal with in Edmonton and this should be your LAST choice. I will say though Harry, the brother of Ricky, Was very disappointed with the way things have been handled yet he didn't get anything done either. I am also unable to leave a review on their Facebook page as they blocked me already from doing so.......Guess they knew I would not leave a pleasant one. I'm guessing they do that a LOT.
Worse experience ever had with a sub contractor, What was promised by sales wasn't supported by management, when there was issues with install not fitting actual (all measurements and install performed by Atlas) management started avoiding responsibility of doing it right and started blaming/bullying client.
Would give them a -5 star rating
Not very professional. Atlas contacted us 6 weeks after we ordered and paid for our countertop and said they would be delayed, no stock in North America. Apparently it takes six weeks to figure that out. Three times they want us to call them to find out when they will get material and three times we get different stories and different dates.Eventually we get the countertop and they install. Install the sink, zero clips or brackets. I ask the installer about the brackets and he says "I managed to get a couple brackets on there for you. You can dance in that sink now, it's never coming off." It actually has no brackets and literally fell off the next day. Couldn't believe anything they said about getting the material, couldn't believe the poor quality install.
We are sorry to hear about your experience. As advised to you the counter top material you selected comes from Israel and we were told by supplier that there was none available in North America. We had conveyed the material delivery status to you as soon as we were advised by the supplier. We understand your frustration but this was something totally beyond our control and unfortunately with custom colors there can be delays. The holes were drilled in the stone to anchor the sink but there was no room in your cabinet to install the anchors. There are pictures to back this up. The installer had used adhesives to glue the sink and had advised you not to take support off for 24 hours so as epoxy and silicone could set in. Unfortunately against our advise the plumbing was done the same night and support was taken off before 24 hours which resulted in sink falling off. We had a tech out there for re install and even he couldn't install anchors due to lack of space. We take pride in our workmanship and at this point we believe that none of this would have happened if the plumbing was not done immediately after install and the support was left in place for 24 hours.
We purchased 2 vanity granite countertops, we were promised a delivery date and when they date came and went, we could not get a response from Amanda @ Atlas. We kept bugging them and bugging them for a firm date. Finally had to threaten to have our credit card company stop payment before we got any action. We go to pick up our vanity tops ( supply only) and all of a sudden we are not allowed to transport it in our vehicle and have to pay extra for delivery. We get the delivery after it is delayed and still not getting any response from Amanda we had to call the front desk in order to get our delivery on the date requested. Next, we take the plastic off the one counter top and it has scratches in it and has not been sealed. We once again send text messages to Amanda, call her, leave voice messages no response. We again call and speak to the receptionist, she tells us that the remnant that we bought comes as is, does not get polished or sealed. WTF!!!
I would be very careful purchasing anything from this company!
I asked to speak to the Manager and was told I would have to drive In To request to see the Manager and I may possibly get the opportunity but, I would have to have all our text messages to show as proof. I guess the pictures of our countertop doesn’t count!
We purchased granite from this company for a kitchen They were very hard to deal with once they received our money which we paid upfront our mistake
We were never satisfied with their counters whatsoever they sent a couple of idiots out to try and fix them which they did not do anything worthwhile the owner himself came to our house and told us to basically get stuffed here we are 2 1/2 years later and I have just hired another company to come in and fix the chips and do some repairs at the cost of approximately $1500.
Hello Trevor
We are sorry to hear about your experience but unfortunately chips and damage due to external force is not covered under warranty. Also we have checked your file and there is no service request ever made for chips in the last 2 1/2 years. Please be assured that all of our installers are stone masons with years of experience and take pride in their workmanship. $1500 to fix chips seems really high. We would like to offer you free repairs on our next trip to Whitecourt.
Thank you
