We had an issue with tile floor in kitchen on renovations done over a year aga. Called Rene, and without hesitation, fixed the problem. It was done quickly (less than a day total), cleanly and professionally. A true professional and gentleman. Very highly recommended.
Cheers!

Rozon construction was entrusted to perform major renovations in luxury home in Hudson. As the general contractor Rozon construction knowledge, craftsmanship and level of service was outstanding.
The work was delivered ahead of time and on budget. The general contractor led a transparent process during the estimation phase and provided alternatives to maintain costs down.
The construction phase encompassed major electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tiling, HVAC and painting. The work was properly coordinated and kept disruptions to an acceptable level.
Couldn't be more pleased. Quality work at a fair price, on time, and very clean. We hired other contractors for other work and were disappointed. His staff was friendly, courteous, and professional.
We would recommend Rene in a bat of an eyelash. We will use him for additional renovations.
Rene is a conscientious, professional contractor with a good eye for detail and an excellent team. He uses all the appropriate subcontractors. He shows up on time, schedule the subs well ahead of time, and keeps a close eye on the work as it progresses. Rene stayed in touch with us throughout the project. Problems, when they occur, as they always do, are dealt with promptly and professionally. The job was done in good time and entirely to our satisfaction. Payment schedule was fair and reasonable. We would recommend Rene Rozon and his team without hesitation, and will probably have him back to do our kitchen.
I contacted Rene after seeing his truck on the street and noticing that, for a construction company, the vehicle was clean, well-maintained and of efficient quality. This told me a lot about the man himself. I was not to be disappointed.
We originally called Rene to redo a bathroom but needed to have a solarium conversion instead. Rene was super patient through the phone calls and discussions as I could not make up my mind - windows? bathroom? kitchen? floors?...right, solarium.
He was guided us through the entire process and brought to our attention when things "just weren't right". The poor crew couldn't gain a break when the original job ended up having to have two walls completed reconstructed. He identified rotting wood and some other nasty stuff that was left behind by the old owners. The unplanned was expertly executed using premium materials. Although the project was met was several challenges that were beyond anyone's control, the final room included the demolition and reconstruction of two walls, the installation of four windows, siding and electrical.
The crew was the cleanest and most professional crew I have ever worked with. They were courteous, professional, pleasant and funny.
It is not even a thought that I would use Rene again. We're already planning.
Thank you Rene and crew. The room is awesome, the lights are amazing and both Jay and I are beyond pleased with the outcome.

Rene and his team deserve the highest of ratings. They were hired in Summer 2014 for a complete kitchen renovation. The team was prompt, reliable, clean and very thoughtful - important qualities in a household with four children!
Having never tackled a major reno before, Rene was keenly sensitive to my questions and concerns, providing options and solutions which helped me prioritize and stay on budget. His sense of humour and positive attitude go a long way to dispell any "reno stress".
With the paint barely dry, I have already begun thinking of the next projects with Rene Rozon Construction: a basement remodel and new back deck!
Rene Rozon Construction di a total renovation of our basement in the late summer of 2013 including adding a bathroom. Rene Rozon and his construction team are great. Rene is extremely knowledgeable and does high quality work. He was able to guide us with the design elements and help our pictures of our dream basement become a reality. He starts the project on time, keeps to the timeline, and is clean and highly professional. The crew was clean and respectful of our house. Rene is always positive and has a great sense of humour which is very important when you're knee deep in renovations. We will definitely have Rene and his crew back for more renovations and would highly recommend them to anyone.
This was our second major renovation project with Rene and his team, having had our basement redone from scratch in a previous house some 7 years ago.
We purchased a beautiful home in Spring 2013, full of potential but requiring some major renovation work on the main and upstair floors (including the attic) as well as redoing the heating, plumbing and electricity in most of the house. Because we were still living abroad when we took possession of the house, this renovation job had the added complexity of being done while we were over 8000 kms away for the first 6 weeks of the work.
Weekly Skype calls were set-up as well as quasi-daily sending of pictures to allow us to follow the progress of the work and answer any urgent questions. As is the case with most major renovations, there were some "surprises" along the way when walls or ceilings were removed only to find dangerous and faulty wiring, plumbing which had not been done according to Code and which posed an urgent fire or water leak damage if left unattended.
Because this was our second time working with Rene, we felt absolutely comfortable giving him the keys to our new house for 6 weeks so he could have the place to himself to tear up floors, new staircase, knock down and rebuild walls and sand and stain existing floors in order to match new hardwood floors which we had him put in. Because he is a general contractor, Rene works with a team of "regulars" most of which we had already met 7 years ago during the previous renovation. The fact that they are still part of his extended team only confirmed the fact that high standards and standing behind your work were still the values they sought.
Now that the work is completed, we get a kick out of showing the house to our new neighbours who cannot believe that this is the same house which they saw prior to our arrival. The whole feel and flow of the house have been transformed thanks to a clear vision from the new owners (us) but also because we hired someone who knew enough to suggest different ideas to help us achieve our vision but who was also experienced enough to warn us when he thought we were about to choose a product which might not match the flow and look of the house. Not only is the main renovation well done but the finishing is also above-par which makes the work look even better.
Having a reliable contractor who surrounds himself with professionals is a luxury of sorts because we often read horror stories of renovation jobs gone wrong because of over-charging, unmet expectations or an inability for the contractor to achieve the vision of the home owner. To be able to count on a team who look after your home as if it were their own and who will apply the same standards to their work as you would for yours provides a peace of mind which is precious.
We now find ourselves with a completely updated home which feels well-built and efficient, inviting and comfortable with an updated plumbing and electrical set-up designed to meet all regulatory standards. On top of this, all required insulation was put in during the renovation work, making the house much cheaper to heat and feeling warm or cool depending on the season.
We would not hesitate to recommend Rene and his team for any renovation work as we have used him over two projects literally from the basement all the way to the attic. He has never failed to deliver and stands behind his work in case of any questions or adjustments once the work was finished.
I used Rene several times for large renovation jobs I always call back, Rene is reliable, dependable, honest and always follows through and does what he says. The last renovation was difficult as it put us out of our bedroom and bathrooms for 7 weeks Rene did whatever possible to enable us to be as comfortable as possible.
In the end we have 2 well built renovated bathrooms and a beautiful bedroom. I am grateful for the fact that we really had no issues except the typical stress and dust that comes from renovating.
It is important that I can I work with someone that's word is good and that we don't go way over budget or time and get the best product possible and that is Rene Rozon construction.
OK but highly overrated.
Good at the basics, ie, painting, though he can't build a straight level wall.
Always check his calculations if your are moving walls... He tried to frame up a wall in the wrong place.
Lousy at tiling, grouting, etc...
Will not admit his limitations.
Generally good about picking up but will install your new baths and bathroom tiles with dirty workboots, leaving hard to remove filth in the grout of your expensive new tiles.
Did not fill the tub with water before caulking.
Not good at finishings... caulking, siliconing, etc... Will leave all the little simple jobs for your husband...!!!
Somewhat dishonest. Promises to use material x but uses cheaper y.
Tries to jack up bill at end of job. Difficult to get him to admit error.
Exaggerates effort, risks involved in fixing his mistakes so customer decides to err on cautious side and live with crooked walls, non-level doors, etc...
Dear Cindy, as professional contractors we welcome all reviews good or bad in order ameliorate our service to our clients. We do not understand why you have waited 3 years after we finished to post your review, nor have you made any attempt by e-mail or phone to contact us. Also we were hired to redo 3 bathrooms in your home 1 after another. If you were dissatisfied with our work why did you let us start the 2nd one then start the 3rd one?
The straight wall issue was original to the house. We straighten the inside wall for the new bathroom not the outside as per the contract.
Yes we did start to frame a new wall in the wrong place; my crew had revision #27 to the drawing and not revision#28. We fixed the error within 15 min and continued working
The dirty work boot issue, we did use all the precaution necessary when working in a customer home. We even sent a second crew to come in a shrub the floor and tiles.
We did fill the tub with water prior to calking. This is a standard practice all professionals use.
The simple jobs that you are referring too were the one s you asked not to do because you were trying to reduce the cost and asked if your husband could paint the small section of wall outside the original contract.
The material issue as we discussed before we can NOT use Ditra on the walls. This product is designed as a coupling membrane for tiles it is not a standard use for waterproofing. Kerdi is what is required and Kerdi is what we used.
Not sure what Jack up the Bill means. If you are referring to the countless extra s that you continually asked for and for some reason you feel that tiling you re back splash in the kitchen was part of the bathroom contract then Yes we are guilty for asking for more money when you ask for more work.
Exaggerates effort. When you asked to quote more work in your home we make sure the client understands everything from amount of work, what materials are involved, dust and of course the cost. When we discussed this you said that it was too much and we left it as is as per your request.
The non-level doors were doors in the rest of the home that were not part of the original quote. Again you wanted to save money and not touch them.
As a final note Thank you again for pointing out some customer concerns, we will be using your feedback to improve future customer s satisfaction and to ensure that we do not stop progressing forward with the quality and integrity we strive to bring on every job.
Thank You
