I hired The Cedarbrook Group to correct some deficiencies in my newly built house, notably, the hardwood flooring throughout the house that had been laid incorrectly and required replacing, and also the replacement of a sewage backflow valve that was causing periodic backups.

Cedarbrook stepped in to handle these two very different projects with great attention to detail. Before the projects even started, I was confident of a good outcome. The company's highly knowledgeable director, Jason Irving, took the time to make sure I completely understood the timeline and what the projects entailed. I was given a detailed breakdown of all costs and every question I had about the work was answered thoroughly. Most importantly, I knew that Jason understood my expectations, which are admittedly on the high side.

Throughout the several weeks of the work, which required my family to temporarily relocate, I was kept informed of the progress every step of the way and any inquiries I made were answered immediately. The work itself was done by highly skilled subtrades who worked to the company's high standards. On completion, there were no hidden costs to pay, which was a refreshing experience.

As for timing, not only did Cedarbrook meet the agreed-upon timelines, the work was completed almost two weeks earlier than expected. As anyone who has done any sort of renovation knows, finishing a project early is almost unheard of in the construction trade!

Although my projects, no doubt, were some of the smaller ones the company takes on, I believe no less care was taken to ensure that I was happy with the outcome than would have been with a larger renovation project. That, to me, is the mark of true professionalism.

Overall, the experience I had with Cedarbrook and Jason Irving was excellent. I was very pleased with the result and I would recommend working with this company to anyone with any size renovation project in mind.
