This type of siding generally runs at $4.00 square ft installed, including rain screen.

I don't know if cedar is really cheap in Penticton, but if you are actually looking for tongue and groove siding, "A" and better grade, flush face cedar you are looking at more like $8.75 per square foot installed, and I think that this will be your low end kind of price in Vancouver.

I would recommend that you have a look at what grade and style of cedar siding you want to use (go to a local lumber yard or better still a specialty cedar lumber yard), pick out the quality that you actually want, and then post your job on HandyCanadian.com with your specifications included. You will then receive some firm quotations on your project.
