Removal of Porch reveals problems... Need professional(s) for foundation, masonry, electrical and roof / soffit repair

I live in the Civic Hospital area; house was built in 1942. Off our kitchen (which was added in the 1960's) was a small, uninsulated, enclosed porch, deck and stairs leading down to the backyard. Parts of it were in quite bad shape so my wife and I decided we should tear it down and replace it with a small cedar deck with stairs leading down to an existing flagstone patio. I decided to tackle the project myself, with the help of some friends here and there, but we discovered some unexpected problems during demolition: - The roof of the porch was tied into the roof over the kitchen. The concrete lentil over the door was not secured and the bricks above it were removed when the porch was constructed - The floor of the porch was tied into the joists of the kitchen floor (cantilevered), with parts of the foundation removed to make the connection I still want to build the deck myself but I realize I need professional help before I can start that. Here's what we're looking at: - Masonry - to replace the lentil and brick above the door and to repair the foundation once the joists are removed - Roof - repair / replace fascia, soffit, eavestrough, ensure flat roof over kitchen is properly sealed - Electrical - installation of two exterior light fixtures (interior switch already there) - Debris removal Overall, it's not a huge project but we do need this repaired properly as soon as possible. Thanks, Todd W.

Electrical Work

Upgrade 7 outlets to GCFI (the ones safe near water). Install two 20A breakers instead of one 30A breaker in electric panel. Move 1 light switch. Seeing the house is not an option, as I'm still in the process of buying it. The work needs to be done in the last week of June. I'm looking for quotes and availability.

Change Single Sliding Basement Window

I have a finished basement window, in a new home, 3 years, that needs to be replaced. The window slides, it is about 2 feet wide near the top of the wall. It is one of those standard basement windows. I have tried weather stripping, as well as insulation foam, and the window is not sealed and does not close FULLY. There is somehow enough opening, even with it locked for bugs and worms to find their way into the basement. As a neighbour has had the same kind of issues with closing or sealing their windows, it is obvious that the quality of the windows used in these new homes is a little lacking. I am looking to replace the window with either a solid piece of glass window, ideally, that is completely sealed from the outside elements and mother nature.
