Home is 2003 - and bathroom basement was completed in a rush to faciliate move in.
Want to remove bath tub and tile and replace with white wraparound tub - potentially one small area of tile above if there is enough room.
Replace toilet (already all plumbed in ) with a white toilet.
Remove current vanity and replace with vanity to match other bathrooms in the house. Standard vanity, white sink with a wrap portion over the toilet. New light fixtures and mirror on the wall above the vanity.
Bathroom reno: ceiling and at least one wall needs to be replaced. I have already removed ceiling, and began to remove wall/tile with faucets and shower head as there is drywall damage behind tile. There is a window above tub/shower and may be water damage as well. Need to install ventilation fan ( have already purchased) and need to vent it to outside. Also requie solution for window if that wall needs to be relaced as well.
House age: 1997
Concern: Underfloor heating
Requirement: Install shower in basement bathroom.
The bathroom is currently finished, with tile on the floor and drywall etc. A drain for the show may have been installed before the floor was tiled over as there is no underfloor heating (to the touch) where the drain should be. We will only know that when the tile is taken up. There is already a sink and toilet in the room so nothing further is required than the shower install. Looking for standard low to mid range shower/tub unit that slots into the space, something like the Liberty 60 in 1-pc Tub and Shower, Model:TS5R or MAGNOLIA ROUND Acrylic Shower kit (plus hardware).
We are looking for an online estimate only at the stage that has two parts - 1) install with no issues to underfloor heating, and 2) Install with fix to underfloor heating if required.
Thanks

To Whom it may concern:
I am looking for someone to complete a two bed room basement suite in a Duplex that is about a 1000square ft.
Work to be done:
1. Frame (2)bed room and (1)wash machine /dryer room.
2. Drywall bedrooms and ceiling
3. Complete all wiring of lights, fixtures and outlets
4. Framing in Doors(2) for entrance into upstairs and downstairs.
I would like to get an estimate for this as soon as possible. Thanks and have a great day.
1980s bungalow with 2 unfinished rooms in the basement. Remainder of basement is finished with living room, bedroom and bathroom. We want to conver the 2 unfinished rooms (#1 - 12" x 15" approx, no windows, finish as office & storage-) (#2 - 18" x 15" approx with window to finish as bedroom and storeroom - there is a telepost in the middle of the space - we'd like to design around it). Rooms are insulated and vapor barriered already. Finishing would require framing the storage spaces, adding doors, drywalling, moving electrical, adding lighting fixtures, painting, etc.
My bungalow house was built in 1964. The square footage is 967 sqft. The basement was fully developed and the house is in a good condition.
There are two rooms in the basement (excluding the equipment room), one has a size of a bedroom (Room No.1) and the other is very big (Room No.2). I want to put up a dry wall and install a closet and a door at the end of the large room to make a 3rd room (Room No.3). I also want to open two new windows in the two rooms (Room No.1 and 3) which complies the city bylaw as bedroom windows, one smaller window in the Room No.2.
Require a basement renovation which includes: the install of a small bathroom (existing rough-in), electrical, some structure work (much already exists), flooring/ceiling, drywall (taping and mudding...paint not required) and a gas fireplace.
The house was built by Jayman in 2003. The overall square footage of the house (a 2-storey home minus basement) is about 1950 sq ft.The previous owners did some partial work which includes metal studding (with insulation and plastic), partial drywall (without electrical - other than basic ceiling lighting) and room structure (ie. existing walls to separate future bathroom, bedroom and storage/furnace room).
Some demo may be required if the existing structure isn't logical/practical (ie. more space availability).
Would be interested in getting quotes and knowing when contractors are available to start. Definitely would like references from previous jobs.
Thanks in advance!
Basement is currently undeveloped. I am looking for a contractor to come in to do all the rough in's (including a side entrance door), which will allow myself (who is semi-handy) to do all the finishing work. The total square footage is approximately 675 sq ft. There are two sliding windows, one which will be for the main living area the other for the 1 bedroom.
Scope of work for my contractor;
(1) Basement is undeveloped
(2) Side entrance door cut out in stairwell down to basement on side of house
(3) Permits pulled
(3) Laundry electrical and plumbing moved
(4) Framed
(5) Electrical rough in
(6) plumbing rough in
(7) Dry walled
(8) Mud/taped
(9) Dry walled ceiling
(10) Door put on main floor entering the basement

I will do my own ceiling, walls, and floors.
The bathroom has been mostly gutted with the exception of the drywall around the tub.

Exsiting cheaater door to master bedroom sealed off

we have a 1950's house with a small bathroom upstairs that we want to remodel, we will replace everything, We have found most of the material, Bathtub, Vanity, Tile, and now looking for Vanity Top.We are looking for 1 person to come in and handel all the work., and can make this as painless as possible as process, as I stated it is the only bathroom upstairs , so getting the job done as fast as possible is also a consideration, thouhgh not as important as getting a fantastic result.
The door into the bathroom is 27 and 1/2 inch door, so there would have to be a little mod on the rough opening to acomindate a 28 inch door, we will also move the swing to the other side so we can get a little bigger vanity in.the entire bath area will be tiled with the tile continuing on at the same level as the back splash on a small 4 foot wall and behind the Toilet and continuing for length of Vanity. There is also a 18 inch door for a closet in the room that we will replace with the same size newer door. I will do electrical, which will include moving swith to other side of door jam as wellas adding a GF plug.
We would like to start the project within the next couple of weeks, so we can be finished by Christmass
Bathroom renovation - change bath tub, install stand up shower, move vanity sink. Flooring.
Bed Room renovation - break down wall of a small bedroom to expand living room and re do flooring.
We are looking at breaking down the small bedroom on the main floor to open up the living and dining area. Our bathroom is tiny and not very practical as it is the only one on the main floor.
Please visit home to give us an estimate - Thank You
I am looking for a quote on a "framed" bathroom.
We are currently developing our basement and our next step is needing a plumber to come in and install:
A small corner shower
A small pedestal sink
A toilet
faucets for the shower and sink
the framed bathroom has a 3 piece rough-in already there.
We are moving into a downtown loft style condo. Currently there is a full bathroom off the master bedroom and a half bath (toilet and sink) in the main hallway. There is a laundry area in the hallway currently; however, we are looking to upgrade to a stackable laundry in the current half bath, and extend the wall in order to build an ensuite bathroom into the second bedroom. There are no load bearing walls that need to be removed, and we are looking to add a standup shower (no tob necessary), new vanity, toilet, tiling on the floors, cabinetry, etc.

Ensuite renovation (approx 7' x 6') including new neo-angle shower (approx 36" x 36") with acrylic/fiberglass base, tiled walls, clear glass walls and door. New vanity, faucets and mirror, new light, new exhaust fan. Replace flooring with tile. Paint.
Existing shower had leak so has some damage to walls behind.
Need help with design of project ie. colors, vanity suggestions (window in bathroom limits size of vanity), tile selection.
Want to develop a basement washroom. Framing is already done, but may require some little touch up. Its a 56 sqf area. No very fancy hardware needed. Just want to make the space functional.
A 5' standard bathtub, a single cabinet sink with standard faucet and a toilet. Will require a lot of plumbing works
Would prefer to get estimates from a qualified plumber, drywaller and finisher. Or if you think you can complete every aspect of the job, you can send estimate for entire project.
This is truely a bathroom fix. I had a bathroom/laundryroom renovated to have a walkin shower and in the winter the new laundry area and shower freeze when -20 or so and there is a leak in the shower floor. I need an experienced walkin shower person to do the floor properly as it was no sloped the first time and the freezing situation fixed.
Currently experiencing mold in main and only full bathroom. Possibly need to remove some tiles, or just repaint with proper sealant. If this is not the case, may need then to remove tiles, and install new ones, plus new drywall. I will do the painting. Additionally, because of said issue, would be interested to know how to go about installing a full bathroom in current fully developed basement. Or if even viable.
I would venture to do it myself, but kind of stuck as this may take at least a week, and it's our only shower. Hoping this could be done faster. ** I don't need a full bathroom reno; will be dealing with the other stuff separately**
