Upstairs bathroom which has approx. 27sq feet of flooring. I am looking at going with linoleum again to keep costs down as I am looking at a possible larger reno on the house later. Would like to replace the particle board underneath as it has had some water damage by the tub and toilet area. Would also like to replace the toilet to a more economical one. The house is approximatley 10 years old.
Old bathroom in basement off of a bedroom. All gyprock has been removed as well as original tile floor. The concrete floor will need levelling and I would like infloor heating, if possible. The rough-in plumbing and electrical is done. I would like a shower installed with the interior of it tiled, as well as the floor tiled. The bathroom will need to be gyprocked, taped and mudded. There will need to be some additional framing and or reframing. The room is 8 ft 7 in by 7 ft 4 in, including the area for the shower.
I will install the toilet and vanity, as well as window trim, painting and electrical hookup. I am the owner of the home.
We had our bathroom renovated in October. The white grout on the row of tiles at the bathtub level is turning grey with orange streaks in it. I don't know what the problem is, could be wrong screws used in the concrete backer board, grout joints too wide for non-sanded grout etc. I don't know if just the grout has to be removed of if all the tiles need to be ripped out and re-done. The renovator said he did everything right but I don't think that the grout discoloration this bad can be "normal" after only a few months.
The tiles are 6"x8" and the coverage is about 35 ft2.
It is a two story house that was built in 1989, in which the basement is not completed. I would like to have the plumbing roughed in for a toilet, sink, shower and a laundry tub. Since it is in the basement it will require some concrete to be excavated to allow for the plumbing. The main pipe that it can be tied into is located within 1 foot of the bathroom to be completed.

Bathroom project: approx. 8ft X 5ft full bathroom. We will do a full demo down to the studs. Drywall can't be saved (not even on the ceiling) due to previous owners tiling the ENTIRE room.

-Drywall (board, tape, mud)
-Tile (floor plus tub surround) --- aprox 100sq ft total
-Replace pocket door w/ swing door
Redo an existing basement bathroom in 1950's raised bungalow up/down duplex.
I would buy the components, shower kit, floor tile, sink, toilet and cabinets. I would like the contractor to complete the tear down and install. The big thing I would like is to get a vented exhaust fan installed.
Tub/shower measures - 28"W x 58" L x 80" H
Floor Space to be tiled - 74" x 58"
Originally I had a tub in the room, changed it out to just a shower, now I want the shower out (I have it removed already) and the r/h tub put in so plumbing must move to opposite wall. I would like an estimate on the cost to move the plumbing. The drywall will be removed before you arrive.
Thank you for your time
Debbie
I am looking for a contractor to come in and renovate my bathroom tub area. The existing acrylic tub and surround has to be removed and in its place a shower pan installed to make it more accessible for my wheelchair. Grab bars have to be mounted so the walls have to be reinforced, waterproofed and the entire area tiled. Also any flooring, trim and painting required and shower curtain and wand installation is to be done.
Hi there, I am looking to have the floor and shower walls (above the tub) tiled in my bathroom. I am wanting slate brick-design tiles on the floor (about 30 sq feet) and marble mosaic tiles on mesh on the walls (about 70 sq feet). I would also like the stippled ceiling scraped flat, new fan installed, medicine chest removed, toilet and vanity installed.
Are you able to come see my bathroom and provide me with an estimate for this work please? I live in Canyon Meadows and would like to start on this project asap!
Thanks! :)
We have a full bath with a tub, sink and toilet. We are interested in doing a complete reno that would involve replacing the tub with a shower enclosure, a solid bench for sitting in the shower, ideally with a constant temperature faucet and a rain shower head. If possible we'd also like to include a small linen closet in the space where the tub used to be and that would now contain the shower and the linen closet. New low flush toilet. New vanity, sink and mirror. The cabinet and mirror must both contain storage. Possibly a cabinet over the toilet for storage as well and a bathroom fan would need to be included as there is no fan there now.
9'x7' bathroom
some fixtures have been purchased: toilet, sink, shower door
replace tub with tiled walk in shower, schluter base, glass door
existing vinyl floor replaced with tile, possibly slate?
replace fan and lighting
replace vanity with open base and large porcelain sink (already purchased)
paint
I need a shower stall installed in a space where I have removed the old one. It will need a 34"x 34" single threshold shower base, concrete board, or similar and preferably tile as the finished product. The plumbing is all in place, and will need some work on setting base, and new taps. This project could also include new toilet, sink, countertop and flooring. This house was built in 1991, and is in need of updating, so this is where I want to start.
We need a couple of estimates to submit to Alberta RAMP program as we will be applying for a grant to renovate our bathroom from bathtub to walk in shower.
We are low income seniors living in a 60+ condo building.
RAMP have specific requirements which we must meet. As well, we want to adjust bathroom door to either open outwards to to slide to make it safer.
I just purchased a home 1952 ..... I want to have the bathroom gutted and as well I want to have the house rewired . Depending on the cost of the bathroom and wiring I amy decide on doing the kitchen as well . The home is only 900sq feet . I want to have it done with class and perfection . If anyone is interested in taking on a small older home .
