The bathroom is on the main floor of a house built in the 1950s. Basically, it is the original bathroom, other than newer tiles on the floor. Our plan is to redo the bathroom from scratch. Currenly there is not a fan in the washroom either, so that is something we would like to install, as well as a new window.
We live in Deer Run, Calgary, house built in 1980's - both bathrooms upstairs are original. Both measure 8x6 and include a vanity (54") toilet (on the same wall) and across from the toilet, a small closet and then tubs with a shower.
We would like to redo the bathrooms, including new water-drywall, new vanity, new toilet (in master, other was already replaced) and a walk-in shower (tiled) in the master with a tub (tiled) in the other.
We would like to work with a licensed professional who can provide reviews / references of previous work.
I want to convert the tub shower to shower with doors and base. So the tub will be replaced with a shower about 5 ft. wide and a base. Tiles to be installed for rows left empty from tub removal. Also possibly replace shower head and faucet.
I could work with paying for labor only and I buy the parts.
We are in the process of getting quotes to renovate our ensuite and main bathrooms. The ensuite is about 7 feet by 7 feet with the shower occupying some of that space, we would like to move the location of the taps install a rain shower head and new tile. The shower is quite small 36" by 32" we are hoping to remove part of the wall and replace it with glass and a larger glass door. Replace the vanity with a new 36" one, the toilets were replaced several years ago with dual flush units so they do not need to be replaced. The main is standard tub shower combo. The vanity is 40.5" which we would like to replace with a 24" sink unit and 15" drawer unit. We would like tile flooring in both bathrooms and to replace the old razor outlets with new GFI outlets. Also vanity lighting and ceiling fans.
Drywall for walls, new tubsurround (one piece) if possible, flooring, toilet, vanity, ceiling work, tub. Everything! This will be a complete gutted bathroom renovation. I want everything gone and all new. It is a small bathroom and I am open to any ideas on what and how improve this bathroom. I think everything in there is original approx. 26 years. I know there was some bathtub over filling at one time. There will need to be a new sub floor as well as all new walls.
Tub to shower conversion. I already bought shower kit and sink. Need to remove tub, toilet, sink and floor tiles. Find where leak is coming from in plumbing. Waterproof bathroom. Put linoleum over Waterproofed floors. Install shower kit and sink. Reinstall toilet. Make sure everything is working without leaks. Seal around all installation and floors completely.
would like to renovation older bathroom, remove old tub and tile and, replace cement board, tile, tub and tub shower and faucet. Possibly replace flooring. This is not a large bathroom, but would also like to see if possible if bathroom could be expanded into the master bedroom possibly. House was built in 1980. Have not decided on materials other than would like to use glass tiles, unsure of tub size required. Toilet is new low flush, have replacement sink and faucets. Also have not decided on light fixutre. This is the only bathroom in the home with shower/tub so the number of days out of service is important. Bathroom is not large approximately 45 sq feet.
We would like to renovate the bathroom in the photo to include a shower. This bathroom is on the third level (down) of a four level split. We would like to add a new vanity and probably a new toilet. If we put the shower in the corner by the door we will need electrical and plumbing expertise. Photos attached to this project.
We have two small bathrooms that need to be updated. We do not want to spend $18,000 on each one (which are two quotes that we received recently). Our budget was for about $7500 to $10,000 each. We also have other projects that could be added on if the bathroom work goes well (full basement reno and some doors/baseboards).
I am looking to renovate my 40 sq ft bathroom. It is an older home (1960's) and the bathroom is a little dated. There is tile on the walls that needs to be removed and replaced with just drywall, painting of the entire room, remove exisiting vanity/sink, toliet, tile floor and surround tub. I would like a new toliet, tub with tiled walls (instead of surround) and new tile floors. I already have the new vanity and countertop. Of course the finishing touches of baseboards and build a door for a storage area and replace the old door on the other storage area. I'm looking for estimates on this project (cost and time to complete).
I'm looking for good quality work at a reasonable price.
Thank you
50 year old house with virtually original bathrooms. Need updating and everything replaced. There are two bathrooms plus additional renovations (not bathroom) that need to be done, but we can't be without at least one bathroom so they can't be done at the same time. The bathrooms are the first priority but two levels of our house need additional work also.
3 Bathrooms - one with tub (main bath), one with shower (master bath) and one powder room.
Age of house is 35 yrs. Please note measurements are approximate
Powder room is 5 ft by 5ft and requires new vanity with sink, toilet, mirror and lighting. Vanity is 5 ft by 20 in. Floor is slate and will not be changed.
Main bath 9ft 4in by 4ft 10in and requires new vanity with sink (vanity is 4ft by 20in), fan, toilet, tub with shower fixtures, mirror and lighting and ceramic flooring and around tub. Toilet may be moved.
Master bath is 7ft 5in by 6ft 10in and reqiures new vanity and sink (vanity is 4ft 4in by 20in), ceramic tiles shower which will be larger than present shower, mirror, lighting, fan and ceramic flooring. Would like a pocket door put in if possible.
Small window in each bathroom may be replaced and new moldings reqiured in each room. May or may not require painting, may do this ourselves. May also do some of the demolition.
At this point looking for estimates, but once we have confirmed the scope of our project we will have the site inspected

We're building a new home and the builder is roughing in the plumbing in the master bathroom and we need a plumber to install a standalone tub and faucet once we move in. Looking to get an idea of pricing as to what it would cost for a plumber to do this simple install. Please let me know if you're interested and what the cost would be.
Thanks
Happy New Year,
I'm looking to renovate the bathroom of a townhouse condo. (About 10x6')
I'd like to remove the tub, replace faucet with same type. I'm also interested in retiling the surround or using an acrylic surround if it is less costly. Replace subfloor and retile bathroom floor. The old toilet is heavy and hard to set over the ring so I would like to switch to a new lighter one.
