We have two holes cut out of our drywall in the master closet as we were investigating a shower leak. We have figured out the leak and the shower seal is now preventing any water leakage. The baseboard on both sides (closet and masterbath) needs replacing as well. I would like the replacement ones painted and have the paint. The baseboard in the closet is about 6'6" - it is damaged and needs replacing for sure. There is a small section of baseboard that is just over a foot on the skinny wall with the small hole and it should be replaced as well. The one in the master bath is about 6'9" and doesn't show visible damage but we would like it replaced anyways while we are doing the other. We previously replaced some baseboards a few years ago and got the same style from Rona. Looking for quote with breakdown of work that will be done and timeframe to do. We still have the pieces of drywalll that were cut out so will need to patch/mud/sand etc and return to do that maybe a few times as well as the baseboard work. I can paint the walls myself.
Thank you.
Plumbing backed up in main pipe which leaked and damaged the ceiling and walls in the downstairs bathroom. Also the plumber had to cut a very large hole in the main room to fix it about 3 ft wide and 7 ft high. Looking to get ceiling and drywall fixed. have two weeks from july 16th to aug 30 to complete.
Having a fireplace installed on the 7th, need someone to build a frame and drywall around the unit. Very basic straight wall, no mantel. Have some drywall on hand that can be used. Will need to adjust 1 or 2 panels of drop ceiling as well.
Will be approximately 59 inches wide and 92 inches tall.
I'm finishing my basement. I'm planning to contract the drywall installation and finish work out (walls and ceilings). The total area is 832sq.ft including a bedroom, a full bath, a living room, and a mechanical room that will not finished. I calculate the total linear distance need drywalls is about 206ft, wall height will be max. 8ft. There will be some soffit to cover heat ducts. So about 1648sq.ft wall area to be drywalled and mudded. Ceiling to be covered is about 713 sq. ft. I want to ceiling be finished with California type of texture. All drywall would be 1/2". In bathroom moisture resist drywall is required.
Looking for someone to come in and finish off where we have left off... We need the ceiling mudded / taped / sanded (including stairwell ceiling) as well as touching up and finishing off the existing walls throughout the basement (main room / stairwell / under the stairs / and bathroom) where we've already mudded and sanded some. We are looking to get to the point where everything is done / sanded and ready to prime and paint.
We have already done a chunk of the work, but need someone to come in and finish it off so that we can move on to the next stages of the project.
Our budget is $1500 for the job.

Mudding, taping, and sanding 500 sqft basement: includes a living room (two walls only, no ceiling), stairwell, hallway, and one bedroom (no closet). The walls are 7', and I would estimate there's about 1,100 sqft of drywall up. Note that the the drywall has already been hung.
Framing is done, board is hung, but now we need everything mudded/taped. About 700 sq ft in the basement, including bedroom with closet, large rec room with 1 post, and hallway/stairwell. Want alll walls, corners, and ceilings finished to paint-grade.
Looking for experienced mudder, to get it done quickly and efficiently. Would like at least two reference contacts to ensure quality of work. No huge rush on the project, but would like completed in the next several weeks.
I currently have a void space approx 5ft high x 18" wide x 18" deep in the side of my fireplace.
I'd like to create a media centre for audio equipment and storing various bits and pieces.
Needs framed, drywalled, power for electric is in place - just needs connected up, also install a small light.
Small leak is causing ceiling stain and wall is also getting wet as paint is letting go. Have not found the leak yet, but have to cut open the ceiling to find it. Upstairs bedroom on outside wall.
May need to cut out and replace drywall, tape, paint etc.
Some other small jobs as well if possible.
Thanks
Turning two closets into one walking closet. Requires:
- Remove 1- 8' tall x 3 ' width wall and drywall opening left after removal of wall.
- Framing and drywalling double sides of 2 doors - frame/trims were already removed.
- Patching required y various areas across the walls. Shelving removed.
Note: Original walls are old and are made of lath and plaster.
I am looking for a quote on a job in my condo. It involves framing, drywall and finish to paint-ready a small expansion of an existing closet in my bedroom. As well as some drywall repair to the ceilings in my bathroom and kitchen, and knock down of the wall between the kitchen and the dining room.
The condo is concrete foundation with steel studs between the units.
Hi There!
We're doing a renovation of the mezzanine at our indoor sports facility. City permits are approved for the reno. We require steel stud framing of approx. 115 linear feet x 19 feet high with t bar ceilings in 3 small bathrooms. Also drywall services for same. I can email over the plans as well. Project is ready to start.
Thanks for your help

Need to move a kingsized headboard and footboard into master. The bed is solid hardwood with 7ft tall thick posts. The house is a recently renovated 1950's home with 8ft ceilings and narrow doorways. The bed has been hoisted into the spare bedroom but cannot be moved into the master because of height restrictions (i.e. door is approx. 6 feet and narrow). Need to know if it is possible to gain access through the wall by cutting a big enough space (without damaging the baseboards and hardwood floors), move bed through, and restore the wall back to it's original state (wall would need to be painted). Once moved the bed would need to be assembled.
Need an drywaller to provide and estimate on drywall work for a basement development. Ideally they would also provide the mudding and tape as well. The basement is about 1000 square feet with one bedroom, a bathroom, main living area and then a storage room. I have a plan that you can work off to provide me with an accurate estimate. We take possession of the house in May of 2018 and would like to get going as soon as possible.
I had a flood in my basement last year and need some of the drywall replaced. It’s an unfinished basement with 8 foot ceiling. I’ve attached photos and a drawing of rough measurements (not great...but at least you get the idea). I don’t need it taped or mudded, just the drywall sheets put back up. Thanks!
Hi, We are just developing our basement and are looking for someone to drywall & spray the ceiling and mud and tape all walls. There is a rec room, bathroom, bedroom and stairs. It is about 475 sq ft. We are looking for someone asap. Please let us know if you are interested and an approximate estimate. Thanks!

Hello,
I will be removing drywall in my bedrooms to re-insulate (bungalow). I need someone to install new drywall and mud+tape for 3 bedrooms and closets. 2 bedrooms need two sides of drywall done, and 1 bedroom needs all 4 walls replaced with new drywall. I'm located in SW Calgary, and will be in a time crunch to have this completed. We have popcorn ceiling that we are keeping.
There will be an opportunity for more work in the future as I will be renovating the rest of the main floor next year.
Thanks,
Simon
I have a basement 1,203 sq ft. I have all the drywall sheets necessary for the project. I need a contracter for the following aspects of the project
1) install resilient bar on the ceiling
2) hang drywall and tape and mud
3) Soft corner treatments
4) frame and drywall underside of curved staircase
5) Knockdown ceiling treatment
We have a basement that we are in the middle of drywalling and we just found out that we have to put the house on the market in the next two weeks. The plumber cannot complete the bathroom until this is complete, so we need someone ASAP. The space is about 900 SQ including a small bathroom, bedroom and main living area. Drywall is mostly up and we just need someone to come in and do the taping / mudding / sanding and finishing. We need someone that is available within the next 3-5 days, so the plumber can complete next week. We have already purchased the mud, drywall etc, so it will just be labour.
