Hello!
Just wanted to get some help on this. I want to put either medium dark colored laminate in the living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms at my condo downtown. It is about 800 sqft in total. Can you please tell me how much do you think it will cost? I want to start this project as soon as the Condo Board approves my renovation request.
Thank you for your help!
Hi
We are looking for someone who can install approx. 820 Sq ft (850 inc waste) of laminate in the main level of our home. We will have the flooring available and need the work done in the next week.
There is currently laminate in place which needs to be removed. We also plan to keep the current baseboards so would need a quote which covers the cost of removing and reinstalling baseboards, as well as the removal of the old laminate.
Please provide quotes with a breakdown of the removal of laminate and baseboards, install of new laminate, re-install of baseboards.
If you have any questions please email.
I'm looking to install laminate flooring within my apartment. I have already purchased the flooring and underlayment and will be removing the carpet personally. I am just looking for some experienced help as I want it done right the first time. I just need one person as I will be there to help too.

We would like to have laminate flooring installed in two bedrooms and the living room of an apartment condo. We would like ceramic tile installed inthe kitchen and two bathrooms. The floor is currently the base concrete. I think the moulding will have to be replaced - but I am not sure. No one is living in the unit right now and it is basically empty so we can start anytime. We are hoping to have this completed by Jan 15 if at all possible. We are availabel almost anytime if anyone would like to come and see the place prior to providing an estimate. It is a main floor condo and partially underground. The concerte floor in one of the bedrooms is not very level.

I just bought a brand new condo that has hardwood floors in the kitchen and entrance, but carpet in the living room and bedroom. It is the carpet I would like to replace with hardwood that matches the kitchen as the living room and kitchen are open concept. The entire unit is 630 sq ft, the bed room and living room are roughly 400 sq ft. I would like to replace the carpet in the next two weeks before I move anything into the condo to make the project as easy as possible.

Hello,
I am looking for a contactor for a couple of projects on my main floor. First I have a newly created room that needs some drywall mudding and taping on the newly built wall. This room also needs needs carpeting.
The other project involves raising the floor on part of the main level and changing the flooring from carpet/tile/hardwood to one consistent type of flooring, possibly laminate.
Thank you for your time.
1200 sq. ft. split level in Altadore. There is hardwood in LR,DR, 3 bedrooms, hallway and small staircase (5 or 6 steps). This was a top Premium Select Oak at the time. Some areas between where rugs were in the 1950's & 60s have had the finish worn off. The floor has been under broadloom carpet last 40 years until last week. One corner will need replacement board due to cat urine approx. 4' X 3' area. Original owner - not a flip.
Replace approximately 500 square feet of tile and laminate in the main living area of our new condo in McKenzie Towne. Our possession date is August 25 and we're hoping to move in on August 28 or August 31. We can schedule to install after we move in, but we'd prefer to have it done beforehand.
There is currently tile in the entry and the kitchen, laminate in the hallway, living room and dining room (all open concept). We're looking to replace with 5.5 mm vinyl plank, which we will provide. Not sure what condition the subfloor is in; condo was built in 2004.
Hi there,
I have a project that I want to start involving a house that's 2100 sq ft and was wondering if you could provide me with a quote.
This is what I want done:
400 sq ft of tile
1100 sq ft of hard wood floor
800 sq ft carpet
and 2100 sq ft paint the main floor and upper level.
Thanks,
Renee
It is time for me to replace my carpet and I am going to upgrade to Laminate as I have a dog, a cat, and allergies. My condo is a two bedroom condo and the area of the carpet is approximately 500 sq ft. Whole condo is 762 sq ft. The carpet is located in the two bedrooms, living, dining room and one walk in closet.
As I am in a condo building the following requirements for sound proofing is needed: **All flooring modifications must meet a minimum requirement of 6 mm cork underlay or the equivalent of IIC (Impact Insulation Class) rating of 70 and STC (Sound Transmission Class) rating of 70** In addition all materials must be removed from the condominium, no construction debris can be placed in the dumpsters onsite.
The floor beneath the carpet is gypcrete and I understand that it should not require leveling.
I am looking to get a laminate that is similar in colour to my tile in the kitchen and bathroom. According to my options documents the tile is English Bay Series FG-E-E-DB1224 12x24 (not sure if that is searchable) the colour is a greyish colour.
If there is any other information I am missing please let me know.
Regards,
Karen
1. Remove carpet in 2 bedrooms and replace with wood flooring (similar to the living/dining/office)
2. Bedroom furniture to be removed and replaced for installation
3. Bedroom #1 size is approximately 12'0" x 10'7"
4. Bedroom #2 size is approximately 10'9" x 10'7"
Apartment (about 640 sq ft) currently has half carpet and half tile (12" tiles). Would like to replace flooring completely with vinyl plank (or another flooring material that would work well on concrete base, that is wood like) and woven carpet in the bedroom and walk in closet.
Have Acacia Hardwood in our kitchen and living room. Back in September we had our dishwasher leak which caused the floors in front of our dishwasher, under the dishwasher, extending towards our pantry warp and require replacing. Originally had a friend come fix it, but I am unhappy with the quality of work. Looking to get it done professionally.
I am also looking to possibly match the floor better. The acacia was put in by previous owners, and unsure of what make they used. The flooring we had to patch up from the leak is a close match, but was wondering if its possible to find something closer or make it look a bit closer to the original.
Thanks
