I need a contractor to diagnose and prevent water from coming through the bottom of my foundation. 103 year old home in Crescent Heights. Dry wall has been taken down for easy access and assessment. No visible crack seen. No sump pump. No weeping tile. Either the foundation needs to be replaced from the outside to repair a crack or I'll need help installing a sump pump and pipping to direct moisture. Any help greatly appreciated!
I have a corner of my basement from the outside that is crumbling and it is more than the parging
(what do u suggest todo to repair).
I also have have two areas that are cantilevered out from the house that I'd like to be better supported as they are sagging but have been for years(front entrance 8x10' and a window area 2x10')
Thanks,
Ian
Ground floor condo in Mission, Calgary. When heavy rain occurs, the parking lot next to the unit floods. The drain in the lot is inadequate to take a heavy rain. The water does not visually come in contact with the foundation, but seepage inside the unit is very evident when these heavy rains come.
I am looking for a profession in the field to be able to provide me with and estimate of cost for repair of leaky foundation. Cost and method of preventing future occurrences. I also need to determine liability of the issue.
We have a corner unit of a six unit townhouse complex. An inspection revealed some bowing of two crawlspace foundation walls. The walls are preserved wood, with poly on the outside. There is plenty of space to work underneath the building, but there would be some excavating required. There is about 40 feet of wall to be repaired, We are looking for a ballpark estimate for reframing and replacing the exterior plywood. We would appreciate an online estimate for repairs with excavation and filling in with gravel/weeping tile, as well as for just repairing the foundation walls, without having to do the actual excavation.
we have already gotten several estimates, but we have access to an excavator and need to know how much the actual wall repair would be, without having to excavate.
I have an existing 2x8 on 12 inch centers pressure treated wood foundation which weeps moisture and has some structural lateral heaving issues on one side due to I believe hydrostatic pressure from water from a hill directly behind my house. This heaving has caused a slight change in level on one side of house. I wondered if you have a solution and can provide a quote. The basement and rear yard is open to view the existing structure and I have a very flexible schedule mid next week.
