I have a 2 bedroom 1 bath room condo (700 sqft in downtown Caglary. It's built in 2000. I need to do some renovation before I sell it. The budget is around 2K. Things I can think of is:
1. Bathtub reglazing
2. Re-paint all the rooms
3. Fix/Replce door
4. Carpet cleaning etc.
4. Anything that can speed up the sell.
Would anyone be able to give me a free quto and some suggestions after I show this condo to you?
Hi
I am on a business trip in Oman till end February and will arrive back in Calgary at the end of the month. I need to have my condo renovated during March since I will leave again beginning April to Oman for two years.
I need porcelain tiling done with a white or cream color finish. The tiling needs to have an acoustic underlay and certification needs to be provided before work can commence subject to approval by the body corporate.
The main bedroom and bath is less than 10m^2, second bedroom is less than 5m^2, lounge area is less 16m^2, open plan kitchen and dining is 6m^2. My wash drier needs to be removed and tiled and the area is less than 2m^2.
I also need my condo repainted including the ceiling with a double coat of paint. Kitchen tops and bath sink tops to be fitted with granite. The kitchen top and bath sink areas are less than 2m^2.
Main toilet bowel and flush to be replaced as well located in main bedroom.
Please provide me a budget quote subject to confirmation and visit by you upon my return to Calgary on 26 February.
All work to commence by 3March at the earliest and I need an expert tiler and people who know hot to cut and install granite. All tile cutting to be done outside the condo.
I am unavailable on the phone so it's best we communicate by email till I get back.
Regards,
Niresh
550 square foot condo unit. Older building constructed in 1964. Purchased it and the builder was supposed to gut it and complete it but did not. It's been gutted and there's basically nothing in the unit. So it's going to need entire kitchen done, flooring, baseboard heaters installed, complete bathroom, 2 doors, baseboards and casings, paint and lighting installed etc. The plumbing and electrical wiring is all there as it was a functioning building before the unit was gutted.
Paint main, bedroom, bath, doors and trim, new baseboards throughout, tile bathroom (includes remove vanity mirror, medicine cabinet, vanity top/sink, existing tile around sink and tub surround), tile patio door riser, add 3/4" moulding around kitchen island to cover gaps in newly installed laminate. Note: room for equipment both inside and on patio (tile saw).
I have all paint, baseboards and tile, groat and schlepper, new toilet, sink/faucet. Quartz vanity top and backsplash to be installed by Granite Co.
We currently have a glass sunroom, the base is a solid structure approx two feet high, the rest is glass panes. I need the glass removed and would like it replaced with solid brick walls and windows - large non opening windows to the front and two smaller opening windows to sides. With a tiled roof to match the rest of house.
We are moving into a home where there are three bedrooms on the top level. There was a temporary wall put ip a couple years ago to create the third bedroom. We want to tear down the temporary wall and the the door frames and the walk in closet to make one large bonus room (and keep the one remaining bedroom upstairs). We have the blueprints and there isn't a load bearing wall. So basically it's demolition and finishing for the Ceiling and the wall. Perhaps use materials to make a closet for linens etc. Call for more information.
1. We are considering inputting a kitchen sink cabinet in our makeshift kitchen, which already has plumbing. Size would be approximately 60 inches long and 30 inches wide.
2. We are also considering adding a wall to our conference room to reduce the size and create the one room into three rooms. The length of the wall would be approximately 25 feet, with two doors created, one for each office.
If you can provide these costs to use at your earliest convience, that would be great.
Thank you,
Jeannie

Hello,
We are buying a house about 2550 sq.ft. it has a fully developed walk out basement which we would like to modify and put in a nice bar arrangement. The fireplace will need to changed and the provision for a new entertainment system will have to be made.
Also, we will need the Following:
- Main floor hardwood to be 'sanded' and polished
- Carpet in the rest of the house changed
- Home automation system
I will give you my number later.
We will be renovating the sub-basement in an older construction 4-level split.
The project entails framing off a landing from the stairs with a door to create a new room, in that we will also need to extend the existing bathroom and create a walk in closet, add lighting in the bathroom, and finally in the bathroom move plumbing to allow for a new shower and fixtures.

I am leasing premises in a strip mall to set up a daycare. Zoning has been approved but I need to make some changes to the building. These include adding two windows and installing two new toilets, one of which will have to be wheelchair accessible. I also need to set up a kitchenette, including plumbing in a new sink and dishwasher and move two interior walls. Because the premises are just over 300sq metres
I need a plan drawn up and signed by an architect. I also need some advice on the changes to ensure that they are feasible.
Please contact me if you are interested in helping me with this project.

Complete unfinished electrical work in basement. There's a sub panel that's been wired up but no labels and there's outlets that have wires to them but not completed. Needs to get permitted as well.
Basement kitchen countertop needs to be finished along with sink and undermounted lighting.
Misc. Baseboards and caps throughout the house.
Chain link fence.
We have a lot of the wood already.
We are a pharmacy in a University.
We have an existing semi-private space (a desk built out of the wall with a half barrier on the other side ; see attached file for image) that we need renovated to be a fully private space (with 2 entrances)
i.e. To build 3 walls to enclose the space.
Ideally, I would like to incorporate the existing desk and half barrier but that is not mandatory. I would also like smart glass (electronically frosted) to be used but I am open to any suggestions to keep that space as open as possible when not in use.
The space is apporximately 4'x9'x4'.
Please contact me if there are any questions.
Local charity interested in a undertaking a small renovation to a group home in Summer of 2020, applying for grant funds, estimates due early January.
We wish to add a double entry vestibule to the front entrance of a bungalo and landscape a new 4 stall parking pad at the rear of the property
The 1900sqft home in south Calgary that was built in 1986 and has an attached two car garage (approx. 475SqFt). We are considering converting the garage space into a Master Bedroom Suite for our parents. There is parking in the driveway for two vehicles.
Our 'wish list' includes a gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling with skylight (if feasible), New larger window, ensuite washroom c/w shower & office space wired for cable/internet etc.
Full disclosure, this project is only being considered versus relocating to a larger premises.
I am looking to add a space of about 360 sq ft in the back of the existing house. The home is about 60 years old and is currently just under 1000 sq ft.
The addition will consist of a dining room, a small laundry area, and extension of a bedroom and a regular 3 piece 6x9 ft bathroom.
I would like to have quotes for the foundation, the complete framing, including roof. Also, for the plumbing. I would like to have this project quoted up to drywall stage, if possible.
Discuss with the owner and estimate the removal and replace the dry rotted wooden cosmetic fascia incorrectly installed at the home by the original builder. On inspection it was never flashed and that all needs to be done prior to installing new product.
The area in question has numerous issues associated with renovation and is between the first and second floors at the front of the house where it receives the brunt of the weather. It abuts a brick parapet where yet another problem exists.
The original brick layer whoever that was did not lay the bricks sloping away from the house but laid them at 90 degrees to the fascia. So not only is there dry rot, but no flashing whatsoever, no drip edge, no caulking, nothing except what looks like parging mortar and it's breaking up due to the weather and will expose the house interior to water leaks.
I have no idea what is hidden behind the dry rot wood as I'm afraid to haul it down myself in case there is a worse problem behind it.
A very poor, corner cutting construct altogether. Every book I've looked in regarding window ledge and parapet brick work indicates sloping the top layer of bricks slightly at an angle away from the house. This was not done and a work around will have to be found.
Removing the bricks and relaying them properly is out of the question. As far too expensive and time consuming.
Painting, a shade or shades of outdoor paint would need to be chosen and after the refit is completed then everything painted fresh to match and enhance the homes appearance.
We have no intention of selling the house.
I have a bay window with wooden exterior trim. The wood is rotted and have some water damage to the first 6 inches on the floor of the living room. It's dry, but I require it to be fixed as soon as possible.
I would also like to get a quote for an exterior deck and new fence.
Thank you very much!
