I work for a large Property Management Company and am looking for a qualified dependable contractor who is able to provide a quick turn around on quotes, reports and complete work orders with precision and integrity. Most of the work includes common area repairs (interior and exterior) and preventative maintenence. I will need a vendor application filled out accompanied by proof of WBC and liability insurance coverage of at least 2 million.
If this sounds like a fit please email me what specific types of projects and work your company specializes in, any testimonials you have, along with any licenses or tickets you or your employees have and I will forward our corporate vendor form to get the process started.
-Install baseboard (as in fix the mess I made) on one wall in finished basement;
-reach a ceiling fan mounted on peaked ceiling to reset switches for its remote;
-remount garage door open/close button on garage wall - screws didn't hold in drywall;
-put together floor lamp - I started it but I can't unscrew pieces which make up pole;
-help move 2 curved pieces of sectional furniture (no stairs, already in the room);
-basement entry door has weather stripping coming off bottom, & door frame has fairly new weatherstripping on it but I can still see daylight and cold air comes in;
-small drywall repair in stairwall near baseboard, approx 4 inch diameter (I think done by carpet installer)
-install 3 curtin rods, or might be 2 and 1 window blind;
-install timer box on light switch for exterior light, includes removing the one already there which I don't like;
-hang pictures on wall, from quite small to large, probably 2 dozen, could be more, includes hanging 4 on the same wall in a straight line.
There could be more, but above is the minimum list. I would take a day off work, I'm looking at Friday July 5. I know that's far out, trying to plan. I could probably do a Saturday, if that were an option for me. I live in Strathcona Park.
Have large closet doors that original to the condo built in 1978, doors are ceiling height (aprox 8 ft) width of each door is 42".Doors are quite heavy and the hardware has basically fallen off one of the doors making it nearing impossible to open and close. If the door cannot be repaired, would like to replace with new sliding louver style doors. Do not want to lower the height of the closet wall as I use the extra height for storage. Would like an approximation of how much it would cost to replace the doors.
Hi there,
I have a bit of an issue on my hands where I need to have a sink removed in my basement suite NOW!
The issue is that the counter top is tiled. I don't want to re-tile the whole thing. As long as you can come up with something that looks decent and lasts, I am open to suggestions.
I need this job done asap!!
I have a few other odd jobs in the home as well...leaky tap, etc.

Job also includes, helping to remove a few upper cabinets, hang a door, replace a part in a faucet and finish cutting the paint in a very high entrance way...so tall ladder needed.
Can you do the job by March 9th?
We have some basic carpentry / handyman work to be done in a residential house. It involves edging, molding repair and painting. Some ceiling painting and also bathtub edging and bathroom floor.

Hi, I'm looking to have a number of maintenance items done around my place, probably not a full day's work. I'm looking for it to be done in mid-Feb.
The list (so far) includes:
-replace taps/faucets on 3 bathroom sinks. I'll have the 3 new ones.
-replace weather stripping on a door frame. I don't have the new
-replace a broken hinge on a cabinet door. It opens downward like a tailgate, I bought a 'trunk' hinge I think it's called
-bolt 2 sets of 'Ikea' shelves to the wall in my garage. They came with the bolts, I don't know if they're adequate.
-replace a shower head. I'll have the new one.
-install a bracketed small cosmetic mirror to the bathroom wall
-remove and dispose of an old patio table from my balcony. It's too awkward and heavy for me to do
-reset the auto close on the door from my house to the garage, it doesn't close properly
-replace a passage set on a door (this is a maybe, haven't decided if I'm going to do it)
-dismantle and move a treadmill up 2 flights of stairs and put it together again
