Spent a few days renovating a master bathroom but did not have enough time to finish tiling work. Completed roughly 80 sq/ft out of the total 290 Sq/ft of tiling. Tile is being installed on the walls, and floor.
I am looking for some pricing to finish the work, it would be between 200-220 sq/ft of tile to install, and all the tile including the 80 sq/ft I installed would need to be grouted.
Room is rectangle, the shower is a wedi system. The shower has one niche, curb, and a large window. The tile is 2 x 1ft for the floor and walls.
We have just upgraded our fireplace and are in need of a professional to tile it from hearth to ceiling.
The fireplace is approx.60 sq/ft (including fireplace and tv mount recess space). It comes off the wall 4 inches
We have chosen a brick style tile for the whole thing, the tile size 12" x 24"
We also have a mantel that we would like mounted, which has a cleat built into it.
Grout between marble floor and wood trim at border of marble floor / sunken carpet floor is broken and needs to be removed / replaced. To make things look really good, trim should be sanded and re-stained or painted.
So, I see the work items as:
1. Sand trim.
2. Solidify trim with extra nails or screws.
3. Remove old grout
4. Re-grout
5. Stain trim
(Not necessarily in that order.)
There is about 40 ft of trim to sand / stain, but only about 1/3 of that distance needs any grout repair.
This needs to be done ASAP before our new carpet is installed. Carpet is currently scheduled to be installed on June 7.

I did have a Contractor that said he had a crew to do all of the above. Long story short he wanted funds up front and I was going to supply materials which I have already purchased the materials but the contactor is nolonger around to do the job. I am a 61 year old woman and my husband has Parkinsons so he is not able to work or to help me with this renovation. We have this rental property to help bring in income as his medicine is expensive. If there is any one out there that can help me put this property right at a reasonable price I would appreciate it if you call me. I do have a budget I can borrow from a line of credit I have a limit of $5000.00 as I have already lost a big chunk of cash and can not get it back.

Hi, we're looking to get a quote on installing grouted vinyl tile or stone tile over ~320 square feet Including kitchen and powder room. I would do this myself but work is hectic. We installed laminate in the living room and discovered the rest of the underlayment is particleboard.
From my research there is not a whole lot of flooring options that can go onto particle board. The vinyl tile we purchased states directly in the directions that it is not to be used with particle board.
The house is 7 years old and the particle board is stapled down every inch along the edge and might also be glued.
The 2 options we are looking at is rip out the particle board and install new underlayment, Or install plywood or cement board over the particle board.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

We've recently upgraded our kitchen by putting in granite and repainting our cabinets. We bought some lovely gray tile to redo our backsplash, but we're finding ourselves quite time limited. We need someone to take out the old tile and install the new one without damaging the work we've done thus far.
Thanks so much~

Installation of backsplash tile for a newly renovated kitchen. Total space is roughly 50 sq ft. Tile will either be subway tile, or mesh backed mosaic (deciding this week).
Please provide a quote, when you would be available, expected amount of time the job would take, and a link to somewhere past work can be viewed.
I am looking for a quote for the removal of 25 square feet of kitchen backsplash tile, replacement of the drywall assuming it is damaged in the removal process and the installation of new tile.
We would like the job completed in two stages with the tile removal and drywall repair completed prior to December 20. I know that is too fast, but our schedule demands it.
We have much more flexibility on the tile install, with work beginning after cabinets and countertops are in place the second or third week of January.
The tile is original builder quality from a Goldmark home that is seventeen years old.
We are looking to upgrade to a higher quality tile but cannot do tile selection until after Christmas.
Willing to contract the job for tile removal only or tile removal and installation.
The kitchen is u shaped, with two longer walls and one very short wall, roughly the width of the countertop.
We are in the Northwest. Thank for your consideration.
I am looking for someone to install around 15 sq/ft of glass tiles in my kitchen for a backsplash. The sheet comes in 12" x 12" but consist of 1" square glass tiles. There are 2 electrical outlets in the backsplash to cut around. It isn't very big. Contractor to supply own tools.
I also need an over the range microwave to be installed over the cook top and in the same area of the tile installation. Microwave to be vented outside, no current venting available but outlet is in place.
Required ASAP. Another possible project in front entrance may be available.
Thank you,
John
