Hi there!
I would like to get a new tile backsplash for the kitchen (that part is fairly straightforward). Then, the last contractor who did the grout/caulking/finishing work in the master bathroom, left something to be desired, I'd like that to be fixed so the room looks presentable.
Thank-you!
Hello
We are wanting to have our kitchen countertops and backsplash redone. We have the uncut 4x8 slate for the countertops and the mosaic tile for the backsplash. Now we’re in need of the professionals to do the installation. Would you please provide us with a quote? We are comfortable booking a time if you need to come and see the kitchen in order to give us a more accurate quote.

My kitchen is about 250sqf, i'm thinking about tiling the entire floor and then putting the cabinets on top of the tile. Seems this would be the best way but i could be wrong. Please let me know if it's better to put the cabinets in first then do the tiling. I'm open to suggestions that make sense. We are thinking a 12/12" tile or something like that for the floor, perhaps something that looks like stone or marble, cream colour but not a solid colour. or perhaps a stamped concrete look. I have already smashed out all the existing tile and there is mortar still on the plywood, this would need to be scrapped off of course and the new floor installed.
Please provide me an estimate cost/sqf for the install. We have not bought the tile yet so we are open to looking at samples but if we don't like anything we will be buying our own and it will be strictly install.
Let me know your thoughts and pricing.
Cheers,
Dave
My kitchen is about 220 square feet of floor space.
There is also in floor heating that needs to be laid down.
Please send me a message as to how much you charge per square foot. This is a nice kitchen and it will need to be a very nice job. We do not want an inexperienced person.
Message me if you will work for $400/day 8hr days and the job should not take more than 3days max. We are selecting large tile... Or perhaps 5 bucks per sqf...

I need to retile my existing kitchen backsplash (10 years old). The backsplash is about 30 sq ft. I have removed the old tiles. The drywall beneath is no longer any good & must be replaced. I would like to use the green waterproof drywall if possible. I have 3"x6" white subway tiles to install . There are presently no appliances in the kitchen. I am having a granite countertop installed in 1 week. The new drywall needs to be installed next week (first week of June). The tiles can be installed the following week. I would also like to have the grout sealed after curing for 1 week. Thank you.
Kitchen currently has linoleum floor. The upright washer and dryer is in the kitchen and there was a water leak, the floor boards are not warping and flaking apart. I would like to have the floor replaced with tile/slate. I may have enough left over tile in storage which I will find out about Monday. I would like a quote with just labour and another with supplies in case we do not have enough.
I want to tile my kitchen floor with slate tile. The kitchen is 300 square foot but requires some levelling before the tiles can be installed. The house is nearly 100 years old so I expext unforseen problems. The cabinets have all been removed and the flooring is down to the original sub floor. Can you give me a quote to lay these tiles please.
Hello,
I have a 3 storey, 2400 sf single family home built in 1983 in Edgemont. There are 2 full sets of stairs and another section with 3 stairs.
I'm interested in getting laminate flooring installed, I just need the labor to do it. For the 3 full washrooms, I will need ground tile installed.
I plan to buy the materials myself (unless there is a discount in buying the product and getting the installation from you).
I plan to rip the existing carpet out. There is laminate in the kitchen and washrooms.
1. Please give me an estimate
2. When are you booking for?
3. How long do you think it will take?
Please leave me with any other information I would need to know to get the job started or any on-going needs I should be aware of.
Thanks.
Felix
We have approximately 650 sq ft of laminate to install, including living room, dining room, kitchen with island and hallway. Tile to be installed to entryway and small bathroom. We will remove old carpet and baseboards. If you can give me a ballpark figure and an idea of a time line and how soon you could do this, I would appreciate it. We are capable of doing the work ourselves, but have a bit of a time constraint. Would like it done as soon as possible and quick as possible.

Hi - I am looking for a tiler to install floor tile and grout in our small front entry and attached half bathroom.
The total area is 45 square feet.
We have already purchased the grout and tile (a square porcelain with stripes) and have removed the existing tile and baseboards.
The space is empty and ready for tile.
I live in Bayside Airdrie, looking to get my backsplash put on. I have the grout, tile, tile mortar all pre-mixed, sponger, grout trowel, mortar trowel, tile spacers, finish the metal edge.
What I don't have is a tile cutter and experience. I would like to do this ASAP. Message me with your experience and examples of work or website. I guess if you can place all the tile I can grout myself and finish. I heard it was around a 3-5 hour job
I would prefer one cost to just do the job BUT BE REASONABLE with your rate. I can help with the installation. Or maybe you can install and cut and I can do grouting we can figure it out to save money.
189 inches x 18 inches or roughly 24 sq feet. You will need a water tile cutter and a saw of some sort to cut the metal edge finish.

I am looking to hire a tile setter to tile a few areas in my home.
The floors are already prepped and the tile is sitting in the boxes ready to go. I have already installed Ditra floor mat over a new OSB floor in all areas and amjust looking for someone to come and complete the job.
There are 4 areas with slate tile.
Area 1 - kitchen = 108 sg ft. all square corners. 16x16 slate
Area 2 - Entry way = 36 sq ft. all sqaure corners. 12 x12 slate
Area 3 - Office/Study = 86 sqft. all square corners 16x16 slate
Area 4 -Bath = 24 sq ft. all square corners 12x 12 slate
The ceramic tile is for the upstairs bathroom . The Ditra mat still needs to be installed as well as the infloor heating. Both on site and cut to size. The room is 100 sq ft and also has a 6 x4 shower that needs to be tiled (tiles are on site as well).
Please provide references.
I can send pictures of rooms if required. Forgot to mention that all toilets, appliances etc are removed so rooms are clear .
Need to remove a broken 12x12 floor tile and replace it, I have the matching tile and grout. House is in Valley Ridge NW Calgary. Will need to remove approximately 6" of baseboard and reinstall and make one cut on the tile. Existing tile broke when a large jar fell on it. Looking for an estimate and if reasonable will get the work started.

We are re-modeling our rear entry. This will include new tile flooring, drywall repair (wall and ceiling) new light fixtures and the construction of lockers and a counter over the washer & dryer. Also the laundry sink will be moving by about 18” and will need to be replumbed. The lockers will each be about 18” wide by 6’ tall with a bench to sit on at the bottom, drawers are not required but under the bench will be an opening for a basket. We would like hooks for the coats and a cubby on top. The counter over the washer and dryer can be made of laminate material. We are the home owners. The space is approximately 13’ long by 5’ wide.
Hello! We have about 15 feet of total kitchen counter space and would like the tiles removed and replaced with glass tiles. Counter to cupboard is about 1.5 feet. Also the tile runs behind the stove and microwave. We had a painter in last week that attempted to remove some of the tiles but told us they were originally placed in with floor glue so they didn't have the proper tools. Left us with a bit of a mess. Thanks for any info you can give us. We are looking for an approximate estimate and availabiltiy.
I'm looking for material and labor costs to replace the carpet in the en-suite to our master bedroom. Approximately 20 sf of carpet need be replaced.
See attached photos.
If possible I would be interested in seeing what the end project would look like, i.e. perhaps you might have s/ware that you can edit the attached photos to show this?
References must be provided of work of similar scope.
