Roughly 300 sq. ft. in front foyer of home, mudroom off garage entrance and small bathroom. Odd shaped with two closet areas. Subfloor is particle board, so sounds
like this would need to be replaced with wood and the old linoleum removed. Baseboards do not need to be replaced, as we are upgrading these as well. House is 7 years old , built by Albi. Have chosen a 20 x 20 Italian porcelain tile we would like to work with. If online
estimates are possible a rough idea of square footage costs would be appreciated.
Require insatlling of tile for backsplash in kitchen. Drywall will have to be replaced first. Granite countertops recently installed with old tile removed prior to placement of granite.
Also quotes on removal & installing new tile in bathtub surround from top of tub to ceiling and in master bath around tub. Home is 18 yrs old.

A small ceramic tile job for foyer and bathroom. I am pretty flexible on when it gets done (weekends, weeknights, whatever works)... Condo is going to be converted into a rental... not looking for a work of art.... just average quality and good price.... I'm an easy person to work for (beer and music at your request)... just do what you say you are going to do and offer a good price.... I am an out of province investor and will have more projects (larger projects) over the next 18 months available.
Job involves:
-take out existing tile on floor and tub surround, take out backsplash, take off existing countertop/sink (dimensions 40 inch x 23 inch)
-install tile (probably 12 x 24 inch size) on floor and tub surround and partially up towelbar wall
-question: do you have a contractor discount at a tile store?
Hello, I am looking for a quote on a small tile job for kitchen backsplash, I have attached a photo. I already have the subway tile and I am looking for two rows of the subway tile around the wall of the L-Shape counter and four rows behind the oven. I have laid out the tile and should have exact amount to do the job. Please let me know what your rate would be and if you would be available for my small job. Thanks
I've finished my basement but know that I'm not skilled enough to tile around my bathtub. Bathtub is a fully enclosed bathtub (with walls) Dimensions: Height above Bath tube is 16" (length of bathtub is 58", Width of bathtub is 32") Tile down the side of the bathtub which would be 93 " (so just under 8 ft ceiling) Note: We might tile instead of putting baseboard but we haven't decided yet. I think it makes sense to note include the price of the material but your the experts so let me know. I can also send pictures pretty easily.
I currently have laminated floor in some areas of my ouse and want to remove it and install tile. We are talking about an area of approximately 300 sq feet, I got a super deal on the tile paid only $200 for 23 cases of porcelain so I do not want to install it by myself but do not want to pay lots of money on installation because then I would not make a lot of sense having found a nice deal on the tile. I wold appreciate a quote per sq feet and details of what does the installation include (i.e. removal and disposal of old floor -laminate except for the entrances and the half bath). The areas where the tile will be installed are 1) a small kitchen, 2) dining room, 3) back and front entrance and 4) half bathroom.
We are looking for someone to tile the area around our fireplace. There is some damaged drywall on the area to be tiled left after the old tiles were removed. We currently have no flooring on our main floor and are trying to get the fireplace done before the hardwood gets installed.
Measurements are: 44.25" x 7" across the top (tiles around fireplace are 3" x 16")
44.25" x 5.75" across the bottom
28." x 5.5" on the sides
44.25" x 12" on the floor (two 12" x 24" tiles)
Thank you
Small entrance of ~40 sf to be tiled with ceramic tiles (18"x18"). Same tile to be used at base of and surrounding a double sided fireplace/feature wall, which is an additional 120 sf. So it would involve tiling both wall and floor of ~160sf in total. Could potentially lead to more future work.
Hi, I am requesting a quotation for tile installation for 3 bathrooms, a portion of the basement and for the stairs and landing leading to the basement (15 stairs total) as well as a fireplace hearth. All in all, this is approximately 235 sq ft of tile. We will supply the tile but are looking for your rate to install. We are hoping to get the work finished as soon as possible as we'd like to paint, trim and complete the project by March 1st.
Thank you.
95 sq feet in kitchen, 50 sq feet in bathroom. I have not picked out tile yet, but thats what I will go with. I have taken out the old laminate in the living room and bedroom and will do that part of my condo myself. There is existing tile in the kitchen and bathroom that will need to be taken out before new tile goes in. Condo is 10 years old.
I am looking for a quote for tile installation in a small residential renovation. There are four rooms/areas to be tiled are:
Bathroom - Floor Area - 35 square feet
Bathroom - Wall Area - 100 square feet
Bathroom - Backsplash - 10 square feet
Kitchen - Floor Area - 100 square feet
Kitchen - Backsplash - 40 square feet
Entry - Floor Area - 30 square feet
Stairs - Floor Area - 70 square feet (this is a staircase connecting two floors. It has one landing and two 'winder' style stairs.
All of the floor tiles are 12 by 24 inches in size, and I have ordered them myself from Stone Tile and Ames. I would like the installer to pick up the tile from these locations at the start of the job.
If your company could quote me an approximate price for this job I would appreciate it.
Need to know what rate I can get for someone to install my tiles.
I am looking for someone to do the tiling in my kitchen, foyer, closet/pantry, 2 bathrooms. No more than 250 square feet total. The floor is concrete underneath as I am on the main level of a condo. There are some minor high/low spots and not perfectly smooth. Would I need to smooth/level before the installer came in or is that part of the service/cost per square foot of installing tile. I have removed baseboards, flooring, etc. I will also be purchasing the tile and would be good to know if any other materials are required and I can purchase. Please email me and we can chat. A map of the place is attached (not to scale). Tiles I am looking to purchase will be roughly 12" by 24".
Require tile work to complete the new fireplace facade. The original wood burning fireplace (brick face) has a new gas fireplace insert. The brick facade (floor to 8 ft ceiling) and raised hearth have been framed in and are now tile ready. The approximate square footage of the fireplace facade is 50 sq. ft. Porcelain tiles have been selected.
It appears that I have a leak in the shower pan of my custom tile shower. I would like to have the existing shower basin replaced, so it doesn't leak. The wall dimensions are 33" by 41" with a 3 pane enclosure. The inside measurements for enclosure side of the basin are 17", 29", 17". The floor tiles are 2" x2" stone, and the wall tiles are 12" x 12".
