Looking for someone to install a tub surround from Home Depot. Cutting will be required.
Attached photos, drywall is in rough shape - originally wanted to tile it but it would require new drywall which I'd rather avoid.
Measurements of tub at 62 inches tall, 58 inches wide and 30 inches deep
I would like to get a new tub, surround (or somthing), and new taps put in my bathroom. There is also a problem with one of the walls that would need to be repaired. The wall past the tub surround is a corner and then there is a approx 6 inch section of wall, and then another corner and the rest of the bathroom wall. This little section of wall has warped a bit and is starting to twist at the bottom.
I am seeking Licensed professional tradespeople to subcontract the following items:
Tile Setter:
Install Porcelain Tile in the Kitchen (55sqft),
Install Porcelain Tile on the bathroom Floor (35 Sqft). Both will be tile on concrete, 13" x 13" tile,
Install Porcelain Tile on walls surrounding the tub (62sqft).
Provide mortar, tile edge materials, transition to hallway (tile to carpet)
Electrician
Rough-in and install new light fixtures in the Den, Kitchen and Bathroom.
Den currently has a pull chain light fixture, install light fixture that operates from a switch.
Kitchen has under cabinet and above cabinet lighting, replace with ceiling mounted light fixture.
Bathroom has lighting above the mirror, replace fixture.

Looking for a kitchen renovation with installation of IKEA kitchen. Would like to use the closet space from the adjacent bedroom in order to relocate the fridge, shift the sink from the corner of the counter to underneath the window, install a gas range and hood fan in place of the separate stove top and wall mounted oven currently. New laminate floors were previously installed and we have a surplus to finish the flooring once the kitchen is completed. Would also be interested in laminating the stairs and landing down to the basement.
There is a small ensuite bathroom and a main bathroom side by side on the main floor. Would like to either renovated them both with new tile flooring, counter/sink and shower in the main bathroom OR turn them into one larger bathroom and install a separate 3 piece bathroom in the basement. It would depend on what the two options would look like financially.
I have uploaded the original floor plans of the house and made changes to show what it is currently like. I have also uploaded the plans of the main floor with an idea of what we would like the changes to look like.
We would also be interested in changing out three old basement windows and installing 1-2 extra windows in the basement.
We are flexible and open to suggestions about style and material depending on costs etc.
Timing is flexible but we could happily start ASAP.
Due to work I am easiest to reach via email originally and will return with phones calls as soon as possible.
1. Kitchen - new cabinets, countertop, flooring sink, repaint etc. Approximately 8x10ft room size.

Approximately 5x8ft room size.
50+ year old house without any other upgrades so want to keep it fairly basic and reasonably inexpensive.
1993 build home approx 1180sq feet, third level and basement not included.need complete reface from floor to ceiling.changing counter tops, flooring, toilets and taps and showers.three bathrooms.kithchen counter tops, flooring.and ideas for island if possible.and also carpet change some to hardwood flooring and some area carpet again.
Looking for a contractor to install laminate flooring and baseboard in a downtown Edmonton condo. The unit is 615 square feet and I want to put laminate throughout. The unit is on the 4th level. I will remove the current carpet and supply the materials. Also looking to install new toilet and tub surround.
Complete renovation of main floor bathroom (about 7 ft X 8ft) in 1953 bungalow located in Lauderdale in north central Edmonton.
Need contractor to demolish existing bathroom. Coordinate the project with the plumber and electrician. Install a ceiling fan vent through the roof. Install new drywall, vanity, tiles for tub surround and floor, and finishing to include hanging a wall cabinet, a mirror, wainscotting on lower walls, new door & casements, new window casements and baseboards.
There will be electrical work required (installing an wall outlet and supplying power for a ceiling fan).
We have already lined-up a plumber. We know a good electrician, if needed. We are ordering the plumbing fixtures through our plumber and his wholesaler. We are ordering our vanity, counter top, wall cabinet and mirror. We also will order and supply the tiles.
We wish to start this project almost immediately, so we require quotes ASAP.
We will be completely renovating our kitchen right after the bathroom project is done. We will use the same contractor for the kitchen if we are satisfied with the quality and cost for the bathroom project.
Suzanne or Brian
1. We would like to transform our upstairs laundry room into a bathroom.
2. We would then like to transform our fourth (upstairs) bedroom into a laundry room, ideally connected to the master bedroom.
Our basement is unfinished so there is complete access to plumbing.
We would like to begin this project as quickly as possible — if this renovation can be cost-efficiently achieved.
If you would like to provide an estimate on this project, please contact me to arrange a mutually convenient date/time.
Sewer back up in laundry room. Effected area's are laundry room, bathroom, flooring into main area. Cleaning and demo already done. Work that needs to be done is flooring in laundry room, bathroom, main room and stair case leading to the basement(engineered hardwood and Vinyl). dry-wall in bathroom and laundry room, install vanity, toilet, paint...
We currently have two bathrooms sharing a wall. We want to demo both and turn it all into a single large bathroom. Dimensions of the total space is about 88 sq ft.
Will need to demo to studs,
Re-locate plumbing to accomodate a tub, separate stand up shower, two sinks and a toilet.
New flooring
Drywall to include a pocket-door partition
install of fixtures
finishing
Since two bathrooms will be going at once, we will only have a distant and crappy basement bathroom to support our family during the reno. It will be critical that the project is started and completed in the shortest possible time-frame!
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thanks,
We are looking to renovate the upstairs bathroom in our 1939 one-storey bungalow. The space is small, ~34 square feet (~63€ x 79€) and we want to use this space in a more effective manner. We need to replace the toilet, and possibly the main stack, which the toilet is directly above. We are going to remove the sink/cabinet with a smaller sink and more wall-hung cabinets to maximize our space. Surrounding the bathtub is beautiful original tile, but it has been painted over with primer. Newer tile has been added above the original to cover the walls presumably for the stand-up shower that was added later (I imagine in the original bathroom the shower was originally hand-held as in the clawfoot tub style). This is not a good design for this space considering there is a large window directly above the tub. We would like to remove the newer tile, the shower and potentially the bathtub but try and save the older tile. The new fixtures for the bathtub would be in the older style with a hand-held shower. The floor is presently old worn out linoleum tile and would like to replace this with ceramic tile. We are trying to stick as much as possible with a style that reflects the era of the home.
Depending on the cost of this project and our experience with the contractor for this project, we may look to extend this contract to include a partial kitchen renovation.

Renovate / re-design 2nd story master bedroom, en-suite & walk in closet, approx 350 sq. ft. total.

Movement of some walls (non load bearing), new flooring/tiles/paint. Heated floor in en-suite. New jetted tub, new approx 7' dual sink vanity, new custom large shower (use of Schluter shower system a plus), new toilet.

Much more I am sure.
My house is 1950's 835 sq ft single story bungalow and has a 298 sq ft covered porch on the back. I would like to either convert the porch area into a master plus ensuite or consider building an ensuite as a pop-up. The idea is to expand from a 1 bath, 2.5 bedroom home into a 2 bath 3 bedroom home. I would like to understand what my options are given the structural and space restrictions of the property, and of course the budget. I would like this project to be as "green" as possible, which would include considerations such as building materials and energy efficiency.
My roof will need to be redone at the same time, and I would like to consider installing solar panels if budget allows.
I have a small ish ensuite off the master bathroom. I have stripped the room down so no removal services required. It will have a vanity & mirror, show enclosure with appropriate backsplash, toilet and new drywall. It also requires a new sub floor and the pluming redone to reflect a shower, not bathtub which was there prior. I have the shower, vanity, mirror, toilet etc (all unassembled). I'm looking for a company to prep the room and install the items above including flooring, shower backsplash and drywall. All painting will be done by myself. And the electrical has already been done as well. My contact information is dpain@shaw.ca and 780-489-1736. I am looking for this project to be started and completed October 2011.
Need the following upgrades done to a bathroom located in basement: 1. Need bathroom exhaust fan installed. There doesn't look like there's pre-existing exhaust ducts, so looks like a new one will have to be drilled out of wall to the outside of house. Also the ceiling is tiled, not drywalled. 2. Need new lighting installed. It's too dark in the corner where the shower is. I'm thinking panel lighting, but I am open to suggestions. 3. Possible re-drywalling/repair in shower area. There seems to be some minor water damage and paint peeling. I purchased this house over summer, last owner did not seem to use the right drywall/paint.
Looking for 2 estimates. One for the exhaust/lighting job, and the second for the exhaust/lighting/drywalling.
The project is a minor bathroom remodel
The bathroom is small 5x10 ft
The bathroom was dry walled and tiled in the fall, but the project wasn't completed.
the following things need to be done:
1. A new window needs to be installed. The old window is ready to be removed. I haven't ordered the new window yet.
2. A t transition strip needs to be installed on the floor between the bathroom tile and the hallway lino
3. the vanity (sink) needs to be anchored to the wall and the sink needs to be caulked
4. The tile back splash behind the sink needs to be grouted
5. Moulding needs to be installed between the wall and the bathtub skirt. Moulding (1/2 round) has been purchased
6. The bathroom paint will need to be touched up or if necessary the bathroom will need to be painted.
7. An acrylic strip needs to be installed (glued/ caulked) along the bath tub edge. The acrylic strip has already been purchased.
Home is 5 years old with "roughed in" plumbing for 3 piece bathroom (shower, toilet, sink). Basement development complete except for bathroom. Interior of bathroom walls will need to be drywalled, lino installed on floor, t-bar ceiling, corner shower, toilet, vanity, upright cupboard will all need to be installed. Electrical in place (GFI plug, light, ceiling fan). Hose bibs available for water supply but lines from main will have to be run.
No high-end fixtures or floor coverings required - we just want to finish the basement and this is the only room not yet completed.
We are not in a huge hurry but would probably like installation before the spring if possible.
installing new bathroon in basement just off the laundry room.Room is approx 9x10 ft .Bathroom will have shower, sink and vanity, and toilet but no bath.I am looking for someone who can do roughin plumbing including concrete break up and installing new drainage to existing drainage that is approx 10 ft away.I am a journyman electrician willing to help with what ever is required as far as manual labour but I have no experience with plumbing. The house is approx 25 yrs of age.
