We're need our front steps replaced. We ripped off a deck and removed the original concrete steps that were underneath. We like the look of aggregate concrete steps but are unsure of the advantages/disadvantages/cost compared to going with building a set of steps using composite. Also looking to have an aggregate concrete walkway from the steps to the driveway poured.
I would like to add a hidden door to my existing walk in closet door. I would like it to be a bookcase door but to open the door you push inward instead of pulling it outward.
There is the framing done already and the open-way of the existing closet door.
Could you please supply me with a quote of how much labour/materials it would cost.
My max budget is 500$.
Please advise if it's doable.
A picture of how i'd like it to look is attached but will be light grey. I can do the painting to alleviate additional costs.
Thank and looking forward to hearing from you shorty.
The house was bulit in 1952 and has been mostly compeletely renovated. I would like to connet the 2 smaller bedrooms with a door so my daughter will have more room. The 3rd bedroom (at this time is a computer room) does not have a door. The floors are hard wood with the original quarter round only has a baseboard.
To install trim around an exterior door. Already insulated around door, just require the moulding, door bell, and threshold support. Dimensions are about 82x34 inches, with electrical wires already in place for small door bell. Would prefer to match traditional trim style, basic wood material. The threshold overhangs by about an inch and will need additional support. I am the property owner.
both unit:
* kitchen, bathroom cabinet, countertop.
* closet shelving (comes in panels)
* baseboard, window trim
* interior doors
Finisher with Experience in infill project preferred.
Please estimate and include time needed to finish.
We prefer email communication.
thank you!

Looking to convert an entryway closet to have a built in bench. I included pictures of the closet and some design ideas of what it should look like.
it should have, built in bench, opening under the bench to allow for shoes and boots, built in hangers above the bench, and then a shelf with cabinet doors at the top.
Need damaged baseboard mouldings and casings replaced in my dt condo, and some minor wood reframing of bathroom under sink cabinet to accommodate the installation of new doors.
Finally, some minor wood refacing on bulk head. This can be a cash only job if you like...

I am looking for a finishing contractor that has a high quality of work. Unfortunately the contractor who just completed all the baseboards, window trims, and door trims did a unprofessional job when it comes to joints, smoothing out corners and joints, and the quality of their paint job. I am looking for a contractor that can actually complete this work to a new look and would be available soon. Previous references will be required, as well as I would like to physically see an example of previous work.
Thank you.
We need crown moulding installed throughout our apartment and interior painting of all walls, trim and doors. We would like to begin with one room and then move on to the entire apartment once we have worked with you on a small job. We will also be needing a bathroom renovation, once the painting has been completed.
Thank you
Jackie

We have 5 steps going up to the front of our house that have crumbled away. We are interested in there removal. We are hoping to put wooden ones in its place. Depending on quote we would maybe be interested in you doing both. Our house is about 50 yrs old. There is a whole in the steps cause my husband was trying to figure out if the stairs were tied into the house. Anyways if you could call in the evening to speak with him he could give you more information.
Hi,
My home is a 1979 two storey house.
On the corners are cedar panels which extend from the base of the siding up to the soffits.
Two of these panels are rotted all the way through near the base.
I wish to have these replaced and repainted.
I also have a rotten exterior garage door step that needs replacing
Interested in developing new relationships with subtrade firms in the Edmonton area, principally for insurance-related work. We are especially interested in subtrade firms who are skilled in drywall, painting and finished carpentry.
The opportunity is especially suited to contractors who have previous building renovation/restoration experience and who are sensitive to the needs of home owners or tenants who continue to live on site during the restoration process.
Please only respond if your firm has its own vehicles, is registered with WCB and carry a minimum $2.0M in liability coverage.
If this is of interest, please tell us more about your firm and respond with your email address, telephone number and client references.
Many thanks
Replace baseboard and trim in a 1158 sq feet, 2 bedroom 1 level condo. Not dirt cheap materials, something that looks nice but isn't going to break the bank either.
Need someone to remove old wood surround on fireplace... replace with stonework and mantle - not brick.
Need someone to replace backsplash - Tile - in kitchen... about 2.5 feet by 25 feet with 6x12" or so tiles.
Condo is in good shape just needs a little finishing work.
Thanks!
Hello fellow TrustedPros members,
I have a new commercial building that will require 21 wooden staircases to be supplied and installed. Job site is in the new Discovery Business Park (near the airport).
You must have all the proper insurances, WCB, safety training and references to be considered for this project.
Please feel free to reach out to me to discuss the project in greater detail.
Thank you.
Jeff
We need someone to fix the structure of our house below our front bay window. The middle window had sunk, so we took the glass out, We found rotted wood, and carpenter ants. We sprayed to kill the ants and put the window back in and sealed it. The house is about 25 years old and had siding on the front around the window. We would like to use the sealed unit of glass as it is still good, but would need new wood around the window, and would like the frame capped in a color to match our other trim. We will also need interior drywall and window trim done. We will do all the painting that is needed. We would like to have estimates done starting Aug 26, and would like to have the work done as soon after Labor Day as possible. Thanks.
We are looking to have hardwood installed on our stairs. Material not purchased yet (two sets of stairs, 13 stairs in total)
We also require tile installation in the entryway. We have the tile already, just need it installed (12x24 tile for 41 sq ft.)
