My husband and I just puchased a home and we need someone to install carpet and paint the walls. The carpet approximate measurements are about 1500 sq ft and we need the whole inside of the house painted, it is over 2,000 sq ft above ground home. An estimate would be wonderful. We are looking to get this finished by the 1st of November for move in. Thank you
Hi, i have an older condo with the basement stairs being the style that were open to the back. They have since been boxed in (not sure if this is the correct term or not) and had old indoor/outdoor carpet on them. I am in the process of removing this carpet and want new indoor/outdoor condo laid down. There are two steps to a small landing, nine steps to another small landing and then two open style steps to the basement floor. I do not want the steps cut and laid by rise but if possible all nine steps just carpeted like a runner; if that makes any sense. I hope this gives you an idea of what i am looking for.
I would appreciate an approximate quote if possible.
Thank you in advance.
I am looking to replace the carpets in my rental property, preparing it to sell.
Almost the whole house is carpet, except for the kitchen, back hall, & utility rooms. 2090 sq foot home, appx 1500 sq feet will need carpet. One color is fine, looking for a neutral/beige color, which seems standard for the materials I have been looking at.
Upstairs I would like a medium pile with medium underlay ~ 900 sq feet. Living room, hallway, 12 stairs, 2 bedrooms.
Downstairs I would like a smaller pile, probably still medium underlay ~ 600 sq feet. Family room, hallway, 6 stairs, 2 bedrooms.
There is also an ensuite bathroom that is only about 4'x5' that is currently carpeted. I would like linoleum put in that room.
Price is of high importance, however I am selling it as a family home and I want to purchase materials that are appropriate for what they will be used for. Please see my other postings if you are a general contractor who could help with multiple projects. I will have limited time between having renters leave, and listing the completed house for sale.
I've just finished taping and mudding my basement, and plan to paint it in the next few weeks. What I need to do next is to finish carpeting the basement and stairs. The total square footage is 502 sq ft of livable space in the basement. click here for a quote on material and labour, for a low to mid level type of carpet.
Thank you.
The job consists of 14 stairs that need to be carpeted with a neutral berber. This would also include the stringers on either side. The stairs have a turn that has 3 wider treads than the rest. We can arrange an on site visit starting on the 18th but I would like the job to be done as close to the 21st as possible.

Hi
I have a client that is in need of a quote to “kick” “re-stretch” carpet in a master bedroom.
The carpet flows into the closet and butts with the hallway carpet.
I want to know if it can be done and at what cost please! The home is located in the Terwilliger area.
Please respond to this email if you can possibly do a quote/job for me.
Thank-you

We are looking for someone to measure out how much carpet and underlay we need to buy for our basement, and then install it when it comes in. The main room is 12ft 6 in by 16 feet. There is a short hallway with a closet, as well as stairs to be done as well.. There are 13 stairs in total, 10 regular stairs, and 3 pie shaped ones.
We need someone to uninstall our l shaped living room/dining room carpet ... Hallway also.. And reinstall it downstairs in our family room. The l shape is approx 22 ft long x 18 ft wide with the l shape being approx 10 ft wide. The downstairs family room is also l shape but a bit smaller. We would like this done asap as we have other renos to take care of which needs the carpet job done. Nothing fancy, just a basic install. We have underlay under the carpet already. The carpet is only 2 years old and would be great downstairs as a family room reno. Please advise asap so we can get this done as quick as possible. Also would appreciate a ballpark price to fit into our reno budget.
Thanks.
Hello,
I have a vacant property in the Edmonton area that was in poor condition due to irresponsible tenants. It is a 4 bedroom townhome and needs carpets installed throughout. The unit is a little over 1200 SQ Feet in total. Carpet is required to be installed throughout except for 2 bathrooms, the kitchen and the tiled entrance area. This includes stairs from the main floor to the upstairs.
The carpet/underlay has already been purchased and is on site.
My questions are:
1) How many hours would you estimate to lay down approximately 1000 SQ FEET
2) What would be your hourly rate?
Thanks
Mark
Hello;
My apartment (aprox. 760 sq ft. on 18th floor) was recently flooded due to another tenants negligence. Work that has been done by Pryme Restoration on behalf of building corporation is the cleanup removal of damaged underlay only. I am now needing new carpet throughout (including underlay), paint throughout (except the washroom) and baseboards.
Like everyone else, I am hoping to have this done as soon as possible as this is a rental unit. Only contractors who are insured and bonded need apply.
Regards
Jessica
