We are looking to purchase wood countertop slabs from a local supplier that are made in standard dimensions and have those slabs cut and customized to fit our current kitchen cabinets and layout. We would also require a contractor to take measurements of our layout to ensure an accurate fit. The total countertop area is roughly 45 square feet and there would be two separate countertop pieces to be built. One would be in the shape of a an L and the other in the shape of a V.
Please let me know if this is something you offer.
Thanks for your time.
Dear Sir or Madam,
My laminate kitchen countertop got damaged after the prolonged use of microvawe in one location. The surface has "babbled" as shown on the attached pictures. The entire area is 3'Lx1.5'W. Can you please suggest the repair option(s), or otherwise provide me with two preliminary quotes, based on the available information,
1. Refinish/repair damaged area of laminate countertop, if practical. I understand that the repaired color and finish may not be the same as the original.
2. Replacent of countertop
Location: Edmonton.
Regards,
Alex
I have three peices of granite that I need to get installed. The pieces are each 7 feet long and 1 inch thick. The edges are already shaped. I just need the hole for the sink cut and the pieces cut to the proper size for my L shape kitchen. I also have the backsplash pieces that need to be installed as well.
Laminate countertop installation
Hi! I’m looking for someone who can install my IKEA laminate countertops approximately 14.5 feet in total, Plus install new sink with plumbing. I have a little kitchen in a little character home. Countertops will be mounted on old cabinets. New Counter tops and sink are sitting in my living room ready to go. Removal of current counter tops needed but not disposed of. Small job.
Thanks for your time.
I have a kitchen island / counter top that has some missing pieces of laminate / arborite. I have purchased a full piece of the replacement material, but I need someone to come cut, install, and bring the necessary tools / glue to install / fix the pieces. In total, there are 5 pieces (varying lengths, but all less than 2" in width).
Hello,
We have a one bedroom condo, 760 square feet, that was built in 2006. We would please like an estimate for two projects:
i) Our kitchen counter is made of arborite (dark in colour) and is showing many signs of wear and tear and even damage from cuts and burn marks. The entire kitchen is 9' 6" by 12' 2" and the countertop measures *approximately* 55 square feet. We are interested in receiving an estimate to replace this.
ii) We also have a 81 square foot balcony in which the floor is comprised of a vinyl-type material (as, for example, a cigarette burn will do permanent damage). We are also looking for a rough estimate on how much it would be to replace this flooring.

I had a flood in my apartment 3 years ago and had to have my countertop in my kitchen replaced. I put in belanger laminate in a dark color/imitating stone finish and it's already peeling and fading as well as deteriorating at the seam in the corner of the countertop. I read somewhere that dark laminate is not a good idea as it doesn't perform well over time (fading being one of the issues). I am now looking at replacing my countertop. What is the most cost effective way to replace it as well as the better product (no quartz or granite please)?
Current owner looking to renovate the following (please note that these measurements are just estimates and are not exact. All measurements will need to be verified:
Painting 2000 sqft home (latex)
Basement is finished but needs about 300 sqft carpeting (berber) and completion of existing bar including counter tops (about 72 sqft)
Carpeting in 3 bedrooms and stairs/landing (between 700-800 sq ft) (open to suggestions for type of carpet)
Kitchen counter tops and cabinets (not sure of measurements)
Laundry room quartz countertop - 6' 1" wide by 25" deep x 30mm thick. UM Sink - 22" x 18" rectangle shape and Standard 1.375-in. diameter opening is required for the faucet. Polished 3 sides, TP edge. No backsplash. Ready for site measurement & install now.
Color options, Ceasar stone: Pure white, ocean foam, Bizzard.
Remove the raised counter bar and replace all laminate with stone. Move 2 electrical boxes in raised bar to lower position. Replace white ceramic sink with stainless undermount. Replace vanities and sinks in 2 bathrooms with stone. Replace white subway tile backsplash with glass type mosiac.
We live in a condo in Cloverdale.
I have photos of existing kitchen plus a neighbors reno that we would like to replicate, and the "rough" dimensions for the kitchen and bathroom vanities but I am having problems adding them here. If I can have a direct e-mail, I can probably send them that way. Please advise.

02: Remove wall mirrors, repair and repaint walls behind mirrors in 3 bathrooms:
03: Install framed hanging mirrors in 3 bathrooms:
03: Replace light fixtures in 3 bathrooms:
PROJECT-2: Kitchen:
01: Replace existing countertops, sink and faucet in kitchen:
02: Repair (1) drawer slider in island:
03: We would like to keep our existing backsplash if possible but willing to replace if necessary:
MATERIALS:
01: We were thinking about upgrading our existing countertops to quartz possibly but we haven’t decided on material yet so we’re open to suggestions:
Replace the existing 12.5 linear foot L-shaped laminate kitchen counter top with a thin layer wood or butcher block counter top from Ikea. The sink and faucet would need to be removed and re-installed (keeping sink but replacing faucet). There would be 3-4 cuts needed, plus a cut out for the sink. The old counter top would need to be removed (it is screwed to the cabinets, which are older wooden cabinets). Please send me an estimate. I'd love for this to be done within the week if possible. My estimated budget does not include materials (I would purchase the counter top and faucet and have them here and ready for installation).
Thanks!
