The house was built in 1965 an the main bathroom doesn't have a bath fan. I had just got my roof redone and had the roofers install a gooseneck vent on the roof over top the bathroom. Justlookin for someone to cut the drywall mount and install the fan an connect it to the ggooseneck, i can get someone for the electrical unless it can be done by the same contractor. I have almost all the materials.
Hello,
I am adding new LED pot lights in my kitchen. In order to do so I have to lower my ceiling a few inches so that I clear some old cabinet framing and also to straighten the ceiling. I will lower the ceiling. The existing kitchen has two ceiling lights so by lowering the ceiling I will bury the receptacles. I believe I have to add new junction boxes in the attic so the wire connections are still accessible. Adding the new junctions boxes is something I do not know how to do and I need an electrician to do it correctly.
Attached is a diagram of what I believe needs to happen. Please let me know if you can help me with this project. Thank you.
Martin

Older house from the 1950's. Kitchen was cosmetically renovated prior to purchase. No range hood installed. Would like to look at the possibility of installing a ductless range hood, or dependent on the cost, a duct range hood.
The job would probably require running electrical for use with the hood, and may require the movement of existing cupboards. It's a small space, but we would like to find a solution to our problem.
Looking for an expert opinion to see if it's even worth it.
Thanks for looking.
Replacing a gas control valve on a residential boiler.
Replacing a 1"sweat fitting zone valve (Existing is a 2-wire White-Rogers)
Installing a gas line for two gas fireplaces and a natural gas BBQ.
House is a 1200 sq ft bungalow built in 1963, as original with basebord heating. 24Volt system with 4 zones, though controlled with only 2 Zones valves. 2 upstairs zones are paralleled, and 2 downstairs zones are paralleled. (Would consider re-vamping to 4 zone valves if practical and feasible).
We have a 1930s home with mostly original wiring. No knob and tube visible but a strong possibility that there is some. Panels have been updated to 100 amp.
We are considering updating all wiring in the home. It's 2 floors plus a finished basement. There may be some access through the attic. 1600 square feet.
I would like to get a quote on installing a security camera system (4 cameras) for a residential home.
I am hoping the price will included the system setup and concealing the cables (power and network) behind the walls.
I will be providing my own security cameras unless your price is the same as Costco or cheaper.
Thank you for your time,
My company is seeking to develop a new roster of trusted contractors for reno and repairs in our two buildings in downtown Edmonton.
We are seeking plumbers, electricians, painters, roofers, door companies, garage door companies, etc... This is so we get fresh eyes on our buildings and so we are not stuck if others cannot perform the work by the deadline we set (say, an emergency that cannot wait 6 hours).
Reply and we will provide an application for vendor approval. Note, in order to perform work on our sites you will need proof of $5 million liability and WCB coverage (which can be provided upon being awarded work).
Hello, We are building a single, 2 story family house in the Allendale area, Edmonton. Foundation is complete and we have just started framing and the windows and doors are on the way. will be requiring electrical work, plumbing, dry wall installation, paint, and anything in between.
Thank you in advance,
Yashar.
Hi There,
We have a wall that separates a kitchen and bathroom. Currently there is a washer and dryer in the kitchen. we would like to turn the washing machine and dryer around so that it is accessed in the bathroom. There is plumbing and electrical already that likely does not require much if any moving. There is a light switch in the kitchen that will need to be put in the new drywalled area. The drywall would need to be fire rated, and fire rated taping/ caulk is required.
We will need the washing machine and dryer to have a new metal vent and will need everything working.
This is in the basement of a rental property that we are bringing up to todays codes. A permit may need to be pulled.
The house is located in South Central Edmonton in an area called Ritchie.
We are ready to start immediately.

Most recently I had upgrade my heating and air conditioning upgraded. The project entail that I upgrade my electrical panel from a 100 amp panel and 60 amp sub panel to a new 200 amp electrical panel and have the 2 air conditioning units wired and installed. The air conditioning units are approx 40 ft away from the main house electrical panel so we need the wiring pulled and the breakers installed.
House was built in 1954 and has had some prior but inferior electrical work done with the installation of a sub panel in the basement. Main (original 60 amp panel is located in the stairwell). Would like to bypass existing original panel from meter to a new service panel in the basement and run a feed up to power the original panel which would then become a sub panel. I hope this makes some sense!! To be honest...I'm not even sure of the amperage powering my home!!
House is 1 year, 3 months. Framing is going up in the next month for the basement rooms.
Basement : electrical outlets need to be installed and wired per code, lighting changed from bulbs with pull chains to other fixtures (already purchased), need 3 more lights wired, bathroom ventilation needs to be purchased and installed.
Main floor: projector screen needs to be wired to a 3-way switch, valence light needs to be checked/fixed in kitchen as it is not working (I have tried changing the bulbs, but problem wasn't rectified.), garborator needs to be wired for kitchen sink on island.
Upper floor: Bathroom vent in main bathroom is not working and needs to be checked/fixed.
Garage: currently drywalled, and shelving is constructed. Need to add two more electrical outlets and change the lights to fluorescent lighting.
Central Vac System (already purchased) needs to be installed in the garage. House has rough-ins for central vac system on main and upper floor. Pipes need to be laid in the basement for system, and connected through to the garage.
The electrician must be qualified and able to pull the electrical permit. In addition, quality work is a must. Price must be reasonable as I am on a limited budget. Work can commence once the basement is framed.
I bought a programmable thermostat, but my existing thermostat only connects to the furnace by two wires. The new thermostat requires 5 wires, some of which are electrical. I assume you are familiar with what I'm talking about. I would like someone to run wiring from my furnace to support the new thermostat. My basement is unfinished so everything is exposed (except the final run up the wall where the thermostat is).
The thermostat in question can be foundclick here it has a user guide here which has a diagram of the wiring itclick here
Helloooo,
I'm looking for someone who would be qualified to wire two electric fans into my forced air heating system.
I've recently installed another vent in an addition on my house, but i think it still needs a little extra push to get the air flow it needs. I wanted to install the fans into the ducts and wire them to the furnace so that they'll turn on with the ventilation.
I thought i could do it myself by just installing a switch to control the fans, but i'd rather just pay a pro to wire it right to the furnace.
