I need help to do a couple exterior projects.
1. I have a single detached garage that needs to be properly levelled. It is currently on a mix of cement blocks and wood. It also appears that the structure has shifted and needs to be repaired and mounted permanently. I am looking for solutions to acheive this. Once that is complete, I would like to also replace the existing garage door and install a garage door opener and entry door.
2. My home is on a crawl sapce with parging underneath vinyl siding. Due to a pipe burst, the parging has taken significant water damage and has bowed out in a number of places. I need options for what I can do to replace this and re-seal the home. In addition, a new access point will need to be framed in for more direct access to the pipes.
Hi!
We're looking for a contractor to renovate the exterior of our house. We're looking for acrylic stucco and some stone all the way around and preferably a contractor who can do all of this work or at least oversee it. We also may be doing new windows and doors. I've attached a photo of our house as well as a house with the look we're going for.
I'm not sure if you do inside work as well but we're getting a kitchen craft kitchen but might need a contractor to take out the old cabinets and work on the plumbing and electrical.
We're looking at starting in June or July so we're getting quotes together right now.
We'd love to hear from you as soon as possible about getting together or whatever the next step is.
Thanks very much.
Exterior Wall Repair and Restoration Following Water Damage.
- Water has penetrated the exterior wall and rotted the internal framing of the home. Contract requires contractor who is knowledge in re-establising the structural integrity of the wall. In addition to restoring the exterior wall itself. This includes framing, insulation, paneling, siding, and minor flashing.
- The project also has a wooden overhang that would require hydraulic lift on one corner to bring back to level.
- This is a job that requires professional knowledge in the field of construction and repair.
Looking for a general contractor who can personally complete or arrange/subcontract the follow:
- install a french/patio door
- asphalt shingles on house
- garage roof (flat/low slope)
- eaves, soffit, fascia, downspouts
- concrete driveway/sidewalk
- Excavate/waterproof exterior wall
- pressure treated fence/deck
- retaining wall, yard grading, sodding/landscaping
House is approximately 1200 square feet
Built in 1958
The main components of the renovation will be new ceiling (mainly new tiles), new tiles for the floor and wallpaper designs for the walls. Those are the big ones.
Smaller stuff like new bathroom doors, new hinge door for the kitchen and new counters including food counter and how its presented to the customer will be needed as well.
The restaurant is only 850 sq ft so its a small space. We want to give it a modern feel and appeal to it with its decor and lighting (which will also need changing) and music and general atmosphere.
Wish to have a 721 sq foot basement completed prior to December 20, 2011. The outer walls are insulated, framed and the plumbing is roughed in. We would like to have a full 4 piece washroom, laundry/utility room framed and the space divided into two. All walls would be drywall and ready for paint, drop tiled ceiling and heated flooring installed.
We would prefer to have any contractors interested in doing this job take a look at the space on Thursday October 27 or Friday October 28th.
Thank You

I am purchasing a property and would like to remodel it before I move in in December. The condo unit I am purchasing contains approx 1650sq feet of floor space, approx 400sq feet of which is tile and the rest is carpet. I would like to remove all of the current flooring and replace with hardwood, which would include a stairwell as this is a loft unit. I would also like to replace the cabinets in the kitchen and add granite counter tops. My primary concern is getting a quote on the /hr labor cost. If more information is required for to quote the /hr labor cost please let me know and I will provide.
My garage is sliding off of its foundation. There is no pony wall and the concrete footer that the garage walls sit on are an inch or so lower than the parking pad. Water accumulates and during freeze thaw, the wall gets moved away and is nearly off the concrete. Immediate results of this shifting is that the man door won't open and alignment on the car doors is constantly needing adjustment. One more winter and the wall may fall right off its footing. This is a large double garage with two single garage doors. I've been told that it's possible to lift the garage, create a new pony wall and place the garage back on the new pony wall.
Any estimates on cost, when and how long this would take are appreciated.
Hi there, I got a tilted garage. The size of my garage is 24 ft * 24 ft with two doors. The front wall and right side wall are tilting towards back and left. its about 2 cms off for a 2.5 m wall. I am looking for someone to come and see how much it"s gonna cost me to fix it.

Garage, new entry door, new window with window box, new shingles, possibly hardyboard siding and some stone on front of garage, trim around garage door and side door removed and changed, new shed in backyard and some type of new landscaping in the back of gararge (small area).
Is there a general contractor in Edmonton or surrounding area that could do all of this?
Looking at some rough quotes for the construction of a 16' x 32' garden suite on a concrete slab in the back yard of my property. ~500 square ft. Rectangular frame. One story.
Space would include 1 bedroom, great room with integrated kitchen / dining / living room, a nook for an office, and one bathroom.
Undecided regarding shed roof vs traditional design. (attached photos demonstrate inspiration photo and rough sketch of actual )
Medium-higher end trims.
Please quote assuming plumbing/gas/electricity was already tunnelled and easily accessible, and the concrete slab made.
Thanks

Hi,
A house renovation project was executed in Edmonton between summer 2015 and spring 2016 to legalize a basement suite and conduct other work. Certain deficiencies were left unattended:
1. Installation of window and finishes (currently secured to rotten wood)
2. Fixing living room floor (uneven and bumpy)
3. Fixing bathroom floor (not stable and item popping out of lino)
4. Installing a proper clean-out and backflow preventer
5. Removing and pouring of concrete sidewalk (currently sloped negatively towards the house in hazardous condition)
Upon request I can send a package describing the project in more details.
Thanks.
Will start with the bathroom, it needs a tub surround and taps need to be the bathroom sink & tub taps need to be looked at.
Kitchen: Kitchen taps are a steady stream of water. My water bill is incredible. Also, I need a new stove at a reasonable price.
Materials needed for this project, will have to be supplied by the contractor.
The contracts will then be submitted to aish. As I understand it to be.
Please, if you have a block on your phone, I do not answer when it comes up, private name, private number, or unknown name, unknown number.
