URGENT
Purchased a new 18.2 Cu. Ft. fridge, however, it does not fit in the space where the old fridge was as it is taller than the old one was and the existing cabinets overhead are in the way. I am looking to have someone come in and modify the cabinets over top of the fridge so I will be able to push the fridge back against the wall. House was built in 1960 so I imagine the space for the fridges for most of the homes in my area were not designed for the bigger fridges.
The modification work I am looking to have someone do is to cut out the bottom portion of the existing shelf cabinet as well as closing off the exposed portion of the shelf on the left side so that the cabinet is closed off. I have obtained one verbal quote so far based on a referral from the sales representative at Sears already and am looking for other potential contractors to perform the required work.
Hi,
I am looking for a contractor to do several different jobs that I have to find
qualified workers for.
I currently have one tiling job, 3 decks, 2 garages, 1 landscaping repair and
many odd jobs that I need quotes for. I also have one special project of
interior kitchen and bath renovations for a heritage home which is a large job
that you would have to have some very amazing references and experience with.
The rest though, right now I'm looking for quotes.
Please get back to me with the answers to the questions below and which jobs you
might be interested in and I will get back to you with more detailed
information.

Live in an apartmnet condo in downtown edmonton.. around 25 years ago my grandmother installed mirrors on a wall approximately 8 feet long and 12 feet tall.. there are three solid mirrors on the wall with four wood pieces separating the mirros.. I would like to have them removed so that I can complete my kitchen and then later on have a brick wall installed once the kitchen is completed. I also would like the debris removed... this is the big thing since I do not want to have any pieces of the mirror scattered ...since I have a grandson who comes over regularly.. would like a price on the removal and once I complete this project would like to talk about installing the brick wall.
Would like to know a price, and time frame....
Thank you

Repair needed to hinges on kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities. A trusted, competent, capable individual has assessed that new hinges are *not* needed. All of the 38 hinges (on 19 doors) in the townhouse need a spacer put between them and the wood. The white hinges are the same as the original dark coloured hinges except for the lack of spacers. The spacer can be plastic cut from a 4L milk jug. I can provide this plastic if needed.
Townhouse is located in Lorelei which is in the Castle Downs area (NW Edmonton). Hoping to get this done soon.
Goal is to find someone who will be able to do future handyman work in my portfolio of Edmonton rental homes. There is a high likelihood that my property manager will also hire the individual for handyman work in other properties.
Our condo was built in 1995 and we live on the first floor of a four storey building. We would like to install laminate hardwood flooring and tile but our floors are extremely uneven throughout our entire condo. We are hoping that this problem can be corrected by using floor leveling cement and the expertise of a contractor.
If you require an actual visit to our condo to provide us with a bid, please do not hesitate to call.
On of my wall archways in my condo has some damage to it. I had a projector screen mounted to top of the archway, and when the screen mounts were removed, it left holes from the screws and paint had chipped away. This damage will need to be patched and painted. There are two sections that need to be repaired and they each have dimensions of about 3" by 3". I don't have any matching paint so you would first have to get a paint chip sample from the wall and then use this sample to find the right type of paint. I understand that this requirement will involve you having to make an extra trip to my condo in order to get the paint chip sample. I have photos of the damage if you would like a visual reference.
We love this table, it seats more people than the average table and is the perfect size for our patio. Unfortunately it has aged too much to be fixed anymore, between my family and the friend that I purchased it from the table has been around for at least 20 years. We just want to recreate the exact same table and benches (without the crookedness and wear the years have caused) to replace the old set. If you would send and quotes or requests for information by e-mail it would be greatly appreciated.
We have had to replace part of the drain stack and now we are getting some sewer smell coming into the house. We would like to sove this problem ASAP.
As there is no sign of liquid leaking around we wonder if the stack is cracked or a joint is lose. The smell is more noticable when the exhaust fans in either the kitchen or bathroom ar on. Our home is a 900 ft sq. bangalow.
I have a number of small fix-up projects which are just outside my experience level, these are two of them:
1. Fix doorbell. It is hard wired style doorbell. It has not worked since we moved in. I have followed online self-fix steps with no luck. (Not sure if this requires electrician or not, but since I have two small projects, perhaps both at the same time?) I would like it fixed, if possible. At a min, checked and wires capped properly (if cannot be fixed) so I can install alternative.
2. An outdoor light for the back balcony. Instead of alight fixture there is an electrical outlet (where any normal house would have a light), with a light switch inside. I need it inspected by electrician, and if possible have light fixture installed.
The carpeted stairway to our finished basement has at least 4 stairs that are becoming disconnected from the wall. The stairway has a stringer/wooden support on one side (no problems with that side) and on the other side, each stair is bolted to the wall. There are several bolts coming out of the wall (they do not screw in properly anymore) and we have learned that the area behind the bolts is not accessible. The bolts are connected to plaster or perhaps concrete - not to a wooden stud.
The house was built in 1969 and the renovation of the basement stairs was done 9 years ago. We moved into this house one week ago and use the stairway frequently.
