The box will be approx. 4ft high for heating, we need to remove the old 9x8 main trunks and replace with 16x8, we also need to reinstall five 6in supply runs and the fresh air runs. The house was built in 1953, we have already installed a tankless hotwater heater. This is a high eff. furnace Carrier furnace.
I require a furnace to be replaced at my location. I will be supplying the new furnace 80k btu mid efficiency. I ask you to submit an estimate for removal and installing the new. Will require gas to be hooked up and electrical as well to the point of proper operation. The exisiting furnace is a Coleman 30 yrs old.
As well at a seperate location I require a new garage furnace to be supplied and installed, gas and electrical is readily accessible, garage size is 30ft x 18ft. semi finished.
Thank you
Hi,
I recently had my basement developed but my contractor failed to pull the HVAC permit because he did not think it was required. Now that the ceiling is closed in, the City is requiring a few documents in order to sign off on development permit.
I need a heat loss calculation report, an air balance report and a duct design. If you can help with this, or can direct me to the right place, I would really appreciate it.
My house is two years old, and I have building plans. I do not have a full duct plan, but I do have a rough guide. Thanks
Problem: water comping through baseboards in condo unit beside my unit. Nothing evident in my unit.
Condo Board appointed Mechanical Services "Company X" contracted. Assessed the heating unit (Forced air) in my 1500 sq. foot condo and advised leak was coming from leak in both hot and cold coil. Technician capped lines and removed coil completely. Cost $1200. Tenant now has no heat.
Plumbing, Heating, A/C "Company Y" assessed the heating unit and advised it was not a 'coil issue' but rather the unit required a 'new pump'. They are not able to do the work and suggested another company. Service call & Diagnosis $300
Condo Board appointed Mechanical Services "Company X" contacted and they confirmed they removed entire coil but now advises parts are not available for the unit so they will need to replace entire fan coil unit. Approx. Cost is $4500
Can someone please advise if there is a less expensive option? Should I replace the entire heating unit vs just the fan coil unit? Condo is 10 years old and I am the original owner.
Thank you.
We would like to request written quotes for a new furnace and hot water heater. We would like to action this project ASAP this summer to take advantage of any seasonal discounts.
Our 1,140 sq. ft. house currently has a Miller furnace and a Slate / Courier 510 hot water heater (40 gallons).
This is a proactive upgrade for both of these 19-year-old appliances. Our only issue with the furnace is it is very loud and constantly running. We have had no issues with the hot water heater.
Our house is in southeast Edmonton. Please contact us by email to suggest dates and times you can come by to review this project and provide your best-price written quote.
I have a 101 year old home. Our basement floor was refinished and we need to replace or re-do the ducting that was removed. We also need to replace a furnace from 1972. It's not a large house.
We would like to do the furnace install with a budget of about 3k and the duct/tin work at about 2K. The house is 1.5 stories and the sq. ft. in the basement is about 575.
Please see the attached drawings and give us quote for daycare HVAC and Electrical.
Please provide material and labour price separately.
Electrical - We will provide light fixtures, Emergency lighting and Exit Signs.
Plumbing - We will provide all fixtures.
HVAC - Contractor will be responsible for everything.
I had a home inspection done and this is what it said.
* There is no downspout on the pressure release valve on the hot water tank.
* The condition of the hot water heater is poor.
I have 3 adults living in a 1250 sq ft space (2 levels & Basement); I have a dishwasher and laundry is 90% done in cold water. The current tank is 18 years old and gas operated. So I have a few questions and would like a quote, please.
Do you recommend a tank or tankless water heater for my needs, and why?
What size water heater do I need for my home?
Which type of water heater do you have the most experience installing?
Would a gas, propane, or electric water heater be best for my home, and why?
Would my home benefit from a hybrid heat pump water heater, and why?
Which water heater brands do you offer, and why do you recommend those brands?
Are there any manufacturer rebates available?
Does your estimate include removing and disposing of the old water heater? If not, how much extra will that cost?
What additional costs should I expect?
What permits do I need, and will you obtain them?
How long will the installation take?
How long is the warranty, and what does it cover?
How long will the water heater last, and what can I do to make it last longer?
What kind of maintenance will my new water heater require?
Provide a quote to replace my Trane furnace. It had a problem last year and we replaced a valve and then the mainboard, however, I’m getting a pressure sensor problem again at the start of the heating season. (3 red blinks). Looking for a high efficiency model, perhaps a Lennox, York, or Rheem?
1800 sq foot home. Build in 07 or 08, it’s the original furnace. 2 floors and a bonus room area above the garage. Garage is not heated. Please option an air conditioning adder; we don’t have one currently.
Also indicate what type of warranty you provide on top of the furnace warranty.
Hi, we are looking for someone to help us separate our current Heating and ventilation system for a basement suite in our La Perle (West Edmonton) home. The furnace is new (2008) but the current system is all coordinated from one thermostat. We need the system separated up to Alberta Building Code for a new secondary suite.
Please contact us with your quote, or if you require additional information to quote this service for us.
Thank you,
A. Nelson
I have a mobile home in Maple Ridge Park Edmonton, Alberta. There is a small gas leak detected by Atco Gas under the trailer. I need a gas furnace heating specialist that will do the work under my mobile home. Please connect me with someone who may specialize in this type of job.
Thank You!
There is an old window air conditioning that has been (wrongly) used in place of a through the wall air conditioning.
The current installation of the air conditioning is very poor, with insufficient insulation during winter, not to mention that it looks bad.
The scope of the work is to replace the current AC with a proper through the wall unit and fix the surrounding area.
I recently bought a house (built in 1961). The house is suited front/back and both halves are rented out to tenants. It has 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchens, and none have fans/ventilation (the kitchens and one bathroom have windows, but the rest do not); additionally, one laundry set uses a vent kit and does not vent outdoors (distance was too far to run the duct apparently).
We would like to have ventilation for all of these, but it will depend on project scope and cost. If it's more than we're able to afford right now, then we will pick and choose our priority areas.
So, we're looking for the following:
-vent 1-3 bathrooms
-vent 1-2 kitchens
-vent 1 dryer
To be clear, there is no existing ducting/venting, so it would need to be installed from scratch.
I am not sure what information would be helpful for you to know. Please let me know if you have questions. Thank you!
This project is for a small daycare center located on the southside of edmonton. is currently a commerical fan located in space where the air conditioner needs to be mounted. The window is located approximately 10ft in the air. A power supply in metal tubing already exsists for the current commerical fan.
Ideally would find someone who could do both of these jobs on the same day.
Job 1.
Replace a zone valve & confirm heating is working properly in my condo.
From my tenant... "In terms of the furnace, there has been no change, and I really think there is something really wrong with the switch. There are a lot of strange clicking noises coming from the switch about every 20 minutes or so and there is still no heat coming. When I talked with the maintenance man from the condo board he mentioned that the furnace switch was not an issue of the condo board but was the owners responsibility to get it looked after. I am not sure what is the best way to fix it but if you could take a look at getting it fixed before winter sets in that would be great. "
Job 2.
I have no yet installed the overflow drain pipe to my Ikea bathroom vanity. It was put together by a non professional and its quite messy down there. There is a leak & I need someone who can make sure everything is working, not leaking & install a overflow drain.
Thank you!
