Did you it was raining in Edmonton?
I did because I woke up this morning and found water in my basement. The basement is half finished and approximately 500 square fee and 200 feet would be the area wich I am currently finishingt. The wall which is leaking is a exposed concrete wall as I just started to stud in the unfinished area of my basement.. The amount of water is approximately 1 to 2 inches, due to the floor not being level or sub flooring, the space the water pools in is approximately six feet in diameter. So if you think you can fix this for me just send me an email.
Thank you for your time.

1) SUMP PUMP IMPROVEMENT / UPGRADE:
We currently have an operating AC sump pump at our home, however we would like to add a good quality battery back up sump pump and perhaps upgrade existing unit.
2) HOT WATER TANK REPLACEMENT:
We would like to relace our existing 50 gallon Rheem Ruud hot water tank with comparable or better unit.
3) INSTALL ELECTRICAL RECEPTACLE:
We need (1) additional electrical receptacle installed in our livingroom.
The line that goes from the house to the city line has shifted.
Paper is getting caught on the small edge that has been created, which eventually leads to the water not flowing, and backing up into the basement.
The rest of the line is clear of any blockages and there is no damage.
The movement of the pipe is happened where the pipe from the house basement connects to the ceramic tile pipe outside.
Evaluating condition of house foundation due to excessive amount of water seeping through cracks possibly caused following recent heavy rainfall. Assumption made towards possibly applying membrane on foundation and rendering it waterproof. Given quote would then be delivered to homeowner to enable negotiations from purchase of house.
Same relevant work to repair weeping system due to 2 sewage backups last Summer. Mr Rooter was called in to correct problem and discovered that clay pipes leading from house to city line was cracked on a number of places.
Last project or quote request would be relevant to last snow melt where detached garage was flooded with excess of 4 inches of water throughout. At this time, when rain, water can be seen entering through floor and rear door frame area. This would also have to be remedied.
Am looking for quotes for the 3 above areas in order to submit to owner ( as i am renter on "rent-to-own) and allow me to negotiate final offer on house.
Please advise, thank you.
We hired a company to do weeping tile and sump. They started a week late, dug up around our house and have not been back in days. We need this done!!!! If you can finish this right away please respond! We are afraid of flooding again and had to finish the inside work already. Please respond if able to save us from bad contractor!
We are looking at purchasing a home. When we viewed the home, we found the floor throughout the basement wet. It appears that there is no weeping system or sump pump installed. There are 2 solid pour stairs leading into the home, which have pulled away from the house. There does not appear to be any cracks in the foundation wall on the interior of the house, however the concrete appears to be very pourous with large stones. The home size is 1,084 Sq. feet, built in 1948. We are looking for a rough estimate for waterproofing the exterior of the foundation, weeper and sump pump installation prior to placing an offer on the home.
