I have a master bathroom in my home that needs to be renovated. it has a 36 x 36 shower, a jet tub, big vanity (looks like two 36" vanities next to each other but there are only one sink in it) and a toilet. There is also a walk in closet in the bathroom.
I have all the tiles for the floors already, but would need a white marble looking tile for the walls in the shower and around the jet tub. Ideally, I would like to make the shower a bit bigger, which would mean that we might have to move the toilet a little. I also thought of maybe making the shower a steam shower if it is possible. I would prefer to have the walls of the shower tiled all the way to the ceiling. The floor in the bathroom is linoleum. The master bedroom floor is 3/4" hardwood and I would like the hardwood and the tile to be the same height. therefore I think a sub floor would be required.
The vanity needs to be replaced and I would like to have a double sink. The counters top of the vanity can be marble, quartz, or granite.
The walk-in closet needs the carpet taken out and the floors to be tiled.
Hi, I am wondering what the cost would be to take out the tile in an existing double full shower and replace it with tile, grout and seal it? The house is 27 yrs old, however the shower is a new upgrade. The problem with this one is that there are some cracks in the new grout and moisture has been detected. I understand it may be a little difficult to quote not knowing the type of tile exactly, but it is a mid range tile.
Thank You In Advance,
Bill
