Hello,
We are planning on renovating our basement with infloor heating and a 2 piece bathroom.
We are planning on providing all of the electrical materials (plugs and potlights), flooring, doors, in floor heating wire with roll and toilet with vanity, framing and drywall.
Set up/install and the rest of the materials (wires and misc) would be provided by the GC.
All permits would be provided by the contractor(s) and we would like to start right away.
Pls see attached floor plan
We have a countertop in the basement that has a sink. This countertop runs approx 8 feet towards the outerwall and approx 25 feet along the length. It is a one-piece countertop with shelves & cupboards underneath. The previous owners had a water line running from the sink pipes to a full sized fridge for the water/ice machine. We tied off the end as we did not use it and a small leak developed under the sink from this connection. When it was finally noticed, there was water damage on the surrounding drywall and mold starting to flourish. On the other side of the wall is our our laundry room in which water has been seen absorbed into that wall as well. Removal of the baseboards shows more mold. The door to the laundry room does not close due to the swelling of the drywall.
The house was built in 1998 and I am unsure of the extent of the water damage as the bulk is likely behind the wall. I am also unsure if any or all of the cabinets require replacement due to the water damage.
Hi we need someone to do our basement and some upgrades to our first floor. We recently bought the house and added 40k to put 2 rooms and kitchen on the basement, redo the ceiling, retile our entrance to hallways all the way to the washroom and kitchen till the landing pad going to the back entrance. We also need to update our fireplace by replacing the wood with bricks. Our lender will not release the funds until the project is done. So we are looking for a contractor who will accept the project without deposits. You will directly deal with our broker/lender upon approval of your quotation.
Looking to get a quote for a basement suite renovation project.
Area to renovate is approximately 700 sq. ft .
Would like in-floor heating (hydronic heating), finished concrete floors.
Electrical needs to be rewired and installed.
Potential plumbing changes, but not extensive.
Kitchen cabinet install.
New bathtub/shower install.
Sound proofing, drywall, and painting all required.
Will give more details if interested in work.
Our House was built in 2008, the basement is unfinished and we are looking to have a 4 piece bathroom (preferred but a 3 piece is not out of the question if the design works), Bedroom, Rec Room, Closed off furnace room/small office. The approximate sq footage would be 1000 sq ft and that includes the furnace room and under the stairs where little work would be needed. We would like carpeting everywhere except the bathroom. We are in Fort Saskatchewan.
I have a new Duplex in Fort Saskatchewan. I want to finish the basement, approximately 650 sq ft. I want to create 3 rooms in the space; a laundry/furnace room, a bathroom, and a main area. The exterior walls are framed and insulated with vapour barrier. The plumbing is roughed in. I would be looking to add roughed in electrical around the space, a 3 piece bath, and carpeting throughout the main area and staircase, and a drop ceiling, plus the drywall and paint. Not looking to go fancy or high end, but would like a functional space, and don't want to mess around with DIY project.
I would like an estamate please,
My hose is a 1300 sq. ft. bungalow, I would like one bedroom wall taken down and the remaining 3 walls finished, also I have an office room about 10x10 that I would like finished also. The last thing I would like is a new hanging ceiling put up through the whole basement except the furnace and laundry room, with some pod lighting.
The best time to get ahold of me would be from Dec.14 through to Dec.18 as I work out of town.
Thank you,
Bill
