Commercial float , salt room and massage studio the space I'm looking at is about 1200sq ft
I need to know how much it will cost me to have 3 float rooms built for floats. Basically it's a room that can fit a float tub the door must be at least 36inch wide the room itself needs to be at least 12 feet long by 8 feet wide with a small shower in the room in each , should be water and sound proof . I can provide example rooms to look at if you need more info about float rooms too. The massage rooms would be 12 x7 and I'd need 3 with a small sink in each. There is one bathroom already on premise with one more bathroom that has no sink no toilet and a small back room which id like to make just a bit bigger. I'd need a reception area approximately 150- 200 sqft and what ever area is left I'd like to use for a himilayian saltroom the walls are himilayian salt bricks with lights behind them and a halogenerator. I need to know if this is at all possible and approximately how much it would cost me. I'd be willing to work out some contract as well for free services or reduced cost services for the right company.
I've added some example photos of the tanks and the salt room I'm speaking of.
I have a bi-level built in the 60`s which requires a complete reno overhaul. I do have majority of the materials; vanities, toilets, tubs, sinks, flooring, lighting, etc. Therefore, the quote will cover labour costs. What I`m looking to reno; two bathrooms, new kitchen, replace the interior doors, adjust new exterior doors, flooring, railing..interested in a bigger job where you can use your creativity and don`t stop until the job is done to the best of your ability then I would like to hear from you. Only those who are professional, experienced, insured and have references need to reply please. I appreciate your consideration, thank you.
I need more bedrooms and more storage. I have 3 potential ideas or options that likely represent big differences in price. House is 1200 sq ft walkout located in Collingwood Cove on Cooking Lake east of Sherwood Park.
1. Garage build 32X24 including concrete, utilities. Loft in upper garage.
2. Present garage expanded by 8x24 down the side then a 24X15 studio tucked in back of garage. could be done without concrete. (maybe)
3. House addition. A 30x26 addition on north side. walkout basement poured. Lower level is garage, upstairs is bedrooms. Utilities etc
I have not looked at getting quotes before so I have probably left out critical information. I am looking for simple designs and if cost is too high I will be looking at doing it in stages. For example, building it to lock up and then finishing inside later.
We have a crawl space in our 4 level split. The crawl space is filled with vapour barrier and insulation. Due to all the rain we have had we now have water in our basement. Insurance says it is not covered as it is due to seeping. We need the inside to be fixed as the insurance agent says it looks like someone also cut some of the beams and it might be a structural problem. Then we also need a weeping bed done around the house.
-Replace the dropped ceiling in a restaurant kitchen, pantry and 2 bathrooms.
-Re- secure and repair all bathroom partition walls.
-Install new basin cabinet
-replace butcher block table tops
-install cabinet for cash register
I have all the new cabinets and butcher block tops.
I can meet any qualified people at the restaurant for a better look at the job.
The house was built in 1995. There are two parts to the project. One is taking a two bedroom home and converting it into a 3 bedroom. The second bedroom is 3.3x3.35 and there is a walk in closet and linen closet on the other wall (inside) to the bedroom. We would like to convert these two spaces into two bedrooms. So one room would be about 10x 12 and the other about 10x 10. We will need to install a window in the smaller inside room so it can be used as a small bedroom.
The second part is this house has 3 sections of oak railing on the top floor. The kitchen railing is about 5 long, there is a hallway railing about 2.5/3 long and a living room railing is about 3.7 log. We would like these railings removed and half pony walls made of drywall with glass inserts to replace the railings.
We take possesion of the new home on May 25th and are looking to have this done around this time before we move in so we have 2 rooms for our kids and the railings for safety are removed.
We are looking for estimates. Thanks
Joanna

We have hired a designer and have drawings of what we want it to look like and have started the demolition of the removal of the stecco. We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy general contractor. We are new to Sherwood Park and take possesion of our home mid July. We will require all our windows, skylight, and solarium to have the old caulking stripped off and be re-caulked. 2. Install fence at the back of the property.
3. Add addition to existing deck and put in railings.

We are looking at doing a decently large renovation on our home. We want to remove at least one load bearing wall and would need some help moving some plumbing and electrical as well. We are on a tight budget and time frame. If you think you would be interested or want more information please contact me. Thanks for everyone’s time.
Buit in 1993 4 level split ... if possible we are thinking we look like to build over the garage so that master bath would be much bigger and a bigger walkin closet.
The kitchen would involve bringing it out towards the back 4 ft by approx 15 ft (bayed out) Peaked so that there would be a window above garden(patio)doors.
We are purchasing a house built in the 1960's with an addition from the 70's roughly 2500 square feet bungalow East of Sherwood Park off of highway 16.
I would like various updates including:
new kitchen cabinets and countertops (approx. 10x10 kitchen- counter top slate or engineered stone)
new flooring on main floor and down stairs to basement (laminate)
new hot water tank (electric?I think)
new metal roof
change gas fireplace insert back to wood burning
may also need
insulation of basement and attic
installation of built in vacuum
just wondering if one contractor can manage all these items and approximately how much to budget?
Hi there,
My common-law and I have recently purchased a second home that we wish to COMPLETELY renovate and update (doing some ourselves) with the help and advice of contractors in various fields. We would like to transform this 1970's home into a modernized and open floored type concept. We believe our biggest challenge to be the kitchen as we require much more space than currently available. Wanting to tear down all current cabinetry, open or remove walls, install and island with cook top and possibly sink. Relocate the fridge etc, meaning plumbing and wiring (currently aluminum) may need to be rerouted or even replaced. We have a beautiful sky light in the center that we will be keeping and like to work around in regards to the range hood. At the moment we are considering a tile floor for the kitchen while hardwood throughout the rest of the house. It is a 3 level split making for a number of stairs and an incomplete 3rd and 4th level. At the moment we wish to concentrate on the main floor and upstairs containing the 3 bedrooms, main and ensuite bath. If this sounds like a project you'd wish to undertake with us please contact us at the given email address. We look forward to meeting with some of you and hopefully finding the right professional combination with the same vision and meticulous attention to detail as us. Thank you for your time!!
Teresa

I'm looking for a quote to do a small project in my basement. I want to have two walls made into rock climbing walls. Open to suggestions to stay in a reasonable budget, even if it means both walls can't be completely done. Maybe even just having a single rock climbing board attach to part of one wall, that can slide out at the bottom to make an incline for easier climbing.
Ideally I'd like both walls completely done with one portion of it being able to do the incline function, but would have to see how much that would cost.
Would also like the rock climbing board(s)/wall to be painted a jungle theme if not too pricey to add, otherwise one simple color is fine.
Approx wall measurements:
Length: 9' 4"
Height: 7' 8"
