I'm looking for a quote to do a small project in my basement. I want to have two walls made into rock climbing walls. Open to suggestions to stay in a reasonable budget, even if it means both walls can't be completely done. Maybe even just having a single rock climbing board attach to part of one wall, that can slide out at the bottom to make an incline for easier climbing.
Ideally I'd like both walls completely done with one portion of it being able to do the incline function, but would have to see how much that would cost.
Would also like the rock climbing board(s)/wall to be painted a jungle theme if not too pricey to add, otherwise one simple color is fine.
Approx wall measurements:
Length: 9' 4"
Height: 7' 8"
I am looking into renovating my parents estate to live in and redoing the whole top floor. I am looking for approximate values and timelines as we will make our decision to move forward or not after we have an inspector come in in the next 2 weeks but I want to be ready to set up estimate viewings if it checks out.
Here is the info on the house:
1250 sq ft bungalow in Sherwood Park house is built in the 1970's I believe.
What we are looking to have done:
Kitchen - Brand New floors, Island added, all new cabinets, new floors, paint, backsplash, new window (a nice laminate, does not need to be hardwood) that would have to run all the way down the stairs. We do not need custom cabinets, stock cabinets would be just fine. This is the layout of the existing kitchen to avoid moving pipes ect.) I have attached a picture of what I would like for the kitchen but again, high end is not needed.
Living Room - Possible removal of the wall separating kitchen and living room but is not a must (would depend on the price), new windows, new paint and flooring.
2 bedrooms - paint and flooring (possible windows but these are newer so only if they need replacing)
Master Bedroom w/ ensuite - Redone 2 piece ensuite, floors, new patio doors, new paint
Main bathroom - New Floors, paint, bathtub, toilet and vanity (we can get toilets for both bathrooms and tub wholesale from a plumber we know). The picture attached is the layout of our existing bathroom which I would keep but nothing else about this photo would be what I would choose.
Hallways - New paint and flooring
Doors - all interior and exterior replaced
I know this is very rough to go on as you have not seen the property and I understand that this may change once you have seen it but this is a starting point for me before we get the inspection so a timeline and approx. cost based on the info I have given would be great would be great!
Thanks!

I have an onsuite bathroom above my garage. There was/is a leak from at least the shower and maybe other water sources. The water has gone into the ceiling of the garage and the wall between the house and garage. There are visible water markings and mold on the inside of the house and inside the garage from the onsuite bathroom all the way down to the crawlspace. There is no sitting water that I know of.
This project requires someone who can do everything from demolition through to putting in new structural elements, as well as the most recent code for insulation and fireproofing between garage and house.
Not sure how else to explain it.
I have phoned more than 15 contractors looking for cost estimates and not a single one has provided me with one. The mold seems to continue to grow the longer I wait. As I have toddlers in the house I need this fixed.
