House is 8 years old and needs the floor recoated or resurfaced? In Kichen etc living area as it is dull (cloudy looking and I want back that shine) hardwood in kitchen, hallways, den and bathroom...about 700 sq feet ish ? There are no stains that I am concerned about just the finish. Also needing a quote on a complete reno on our basement, nothing is done but a bathroom is roughed in. Framing drywall, bathroom, ceiling and trims. Baement is small about 900 sq feet or so and I have a plan all drawn up but would hear any other suggestions that I may have overlooked.
I bought a new home in South Creek one year ago. There is basically nothing but roughed in plumbing for a washroom. I would like to put in a bathroom, family room and a storage area that would contain furnace air thing and freezer. I would like to have similar materials to upstairs followed thru in my basement.
Approximately 600 square foot of basement space needs to be finished in 2004 built home. It is already pre-plumbed for washroom by home builder. Proposed floor plan is drawn up from home builder.
Framing, electrical, plumbing, insulation, drywall, mud, paint, flooring, drop ceiling, it all needs to be done. Will look at offers for all the required work but will also consider contracting out individual parts of the required work to be done.
Need close estimate of your work to be done and we can arrange for a on-site visit later for a detailed and accurate quote.
I could arrange for house to be moved off of the existing 4ft concreate foundation, once complete old foundation would need to be demolished and new basement foundation poured, playing with the idea of a walk out. House is approximately 800sft on the main level. if budget allows it we would like to extend the basement to accommodate an open concept addition that would tie the house to the existing garage. House is 1954 I believe, garage is 2x4 construction with 1-1 sloped roof loft. would turn the house a bit to reduce the distance required.
we are trying to weigh options of buying or renovating.
looking for rough approximate value for bare unfinished basement? walk out vs standard below grade (both without addition)
If Possible with an addition?
We live in a duplex in the westerra area of stony plain,AB. We have started framing the basement however have no time to finish it (it is about 3/4 framed) . We want a bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. We would like to finish it asap as we would like to start renting it. We do not want to put much money into it as it will be rented.
Thank you
I am looking for a carpenter to provide framing services and possibly some rough in plumbing if can provide. Additional support also requested for installing cabinetry and potential for additional work as skills and time allow.
We have a walk out basement with open stairwell. We need to close in the stairwell on the basement side as soon as possible. We then need to add a kitchen to the basement. Plumbing is to the location of new kitchen.
