We have a number of miscellaneous items that need to be installed onto walls around our office: Mirrors in the Gym, prints onto the walls, two whiteboards onto walls.
It is a relatively easy job from a handyman's point of view; however, we are hoping to hire someone for a couple hours that can get the job done well.
Thank you in advance.
We have a 42 inch LCD TV that we need mounted on an interior Steel stud wall. We have purchased a full motion mount.
Please respond with the following information:
1) rate per hour
2) estimated length of job
3) insured work?
4) any concerns or questions you may have
5) your website and any customer testimonials you may have.
Thanks!
I will be moving into a brand new condo and I would like to mount a 42" plasma on top of the fireplace. I was planning to do this myself but realized that most mounts are designed to be attached to wooden studs. The condo possibly uses metal studs. My mount will need to be articulating (can be pulled out and swivelled +/- 90 degrees). Are my requirements possible and is this do-able?
I have ivy growing up my chimney, and I'm afraid it might also be coming down inside the chimney too, but can't get up there to look. I have a gas fireplace insert and am not sure if turning on the fireplace will be enough to get rid of any ivy that might have gone into the chimney insert or if I need to get someone to come and remove the ivy. I have heard both opinions that its fine to leave the ivy and its dangerous and must be removed. I'm not even sure who would do this kind of job - handyman? landscaper?
thanks,
P
We recently had an air conditioning system installed in the attic and they had to widen the attic hatch by about an inch in order to get the system up into the attic.
Unfortunately, this means there's now a half-inch gap on either side of the attic hatch that leaks air and insulation into that bedroom.
The hatch is currently just a piece of drywall that sits on top of the rectangular hole into the attic, and has some insulation attached to the top of it.
Also, the edges of the hole are still quite rough and look bad.
We're looking for someone to clean up the attic hatch hole and create and install a new cover for it.
We're located on Capitol Hill in Burnaby.
Please send me a request for replacing a hole in the wall (needs to be drywalled and painted). We have the paint. Repairing a hole (just a little more than one square foot high and a bit less than a foot wide.
Can you please give me an estimate price to have this done :)
Thank you.
