I'm looking for someone to first off finish a shower in my above ground basement. There are what looks to be all the tiles and most of the supplies needed left by the previous homeowner. The shower is framed in as well for what looks to be a walk in shower. I also want to put a kitchen in the adjoining room. I will purchase and install cabinets, but am looking for someone to run the plumbing from the adjoining bathroom to the kitchen.
Old house ( 60's) virtually unchanged- solid but outdated interior, 1100sq ft 1 floorbungalow with full basement. Will need wiring upgrade to 200 amp service from 100 amp service to allow for more electrical plugs etc in kitchen. Hope to be able to add a small kitchen island - with power but no plumbing.
Kitchen area also has laundry area off to the side- would like to build that in with some closets/cabinets ( will liekly need to se this for estimate.) stove Hood fan needs proper installation through roof.Floor squeakes , needs to be tacked down before new flooring goes on. Want new midrange of cabinets installed with countertop and back splash with new sink and updated lighting.
Renovating the kitchen: roughly 14'x14'. I can do much of the work myself, but don't have the patience for mudding.
If you have the time, I would like to extend the reno to include the dining room and study, if it can be completed before September. Otherwise those two rooms will wait until the spring.
Current kitchen construction (approx 1990) is solid oak cabinets with cheap and damaged countertops. Cabinets may stay (if cleaned and, possibly refinished with new hardware) but plan is to add built-in oven and microwave and new countertops. Also would like to replace current free-standing fridge and freezer with a built in or flush mounted unit/s. New Dishwasher. New gas range desired to replace electric range, if possible within budget.
