Additional
-Add two 6'X3' windows on exterior wall of house.

Own an 1100 square foot bi-level, completely finished on both levels. Constructed in 1960 very well maintained with new windows, roof, etc.
We may sell home in two or three years and move to a condo, however, wish to make the following improvements now, both to enjoy renos ourselves and make the home more sale-able. Therefore, we are interested in working with a contactor/renovator who can advise on what renos and quality makes most financial sense if our intent is to market the home in a couple of years.:
- new (mid-quality) reconfigured kitchen;
- raise showerhead and re-tile (or install new tub-surround) around tub in main floor bath;
- replace wood railing w/ glass panels on covered deck(approximately twelve foot length);
- replace lower-level door/frame on back of house with new doors(incl. storm)to let in light;
- possibly replace shower cabinet in lower-level bathroom with walk-in shower;
- close in end wall of open room on lower level to create another bedroom.
-possibly build an open deck (approx. 14 X 14) with two sets of stairs, along back of house to provide easier access to back yard from main floor of house.
The house itself is approximately 1,900sf, 20yrs old. 2-stories above ground.
Online estimates only please. On-site inspection will be arranged later...
Kitchen - L-shaped. complete renovation without relocation of appliances and sink position. Prefer standard grade. Around 10x8 ft with a small island 2x4ft. Laminated countertop. Project also includes new 2-bowls sink, faucet installation and wall tiles + removal of old kitchen.
Roofing- Current one is cedar shingles. want to replace with 20 yrs fiberglass shingles. Sloped roof, should be walkable. No leaking is observed. No new gutter is needed, but please remove old shingles. Dont know the roof sq.ft. sorry..
Bathrooms - 1 powder room 7x5ft+ 2 full baths 8x7ft with tub (no shower). All measurements are approxiamate only...new vanity + sink + faucet + toilet + ceramic tiles flooring. No relocation is needed.
Painting - complete interior painting. 2 coats on walls + 1 coat on ceiling. below average number of holes and cracks. No crown moulding. 3 bedroom sizes are 18'x16', 12'x10' , 12'x10' and a laundry room of 9'x7'. Main floor size is quite a standard one, with vaulted celing in the living room.
Exterior power wash - moldew stain on vinyl sidings.
The above are core items of the project. We would like to install a deck, but depends on our budget. What is the average price of a standard deck?
Thank you so much.
Order of priority of projects:
1. Update basement suite kitchen and shower.
2. Add shower to ensuite bathroom upstairs.
3. Convert sunroom into a family room - 20 x 15 in size and Add 10 x 10 deck off of family room.
Need price for building room, insulation, wiring, drywall, flooring, painting and windows.
Would like to get written estimates for these projects. References must be supplied if chosen as contractor.
Thank you.
Looking to redo our laundry room and powder room. The rest of our house has been reno'd and this is the last thing to do.

- install new door to powder room
- remove wall paper and paint walls
- build shoe rack
My back yard has not been properly cared for for a number of years and the lawn is quite badely overgrown with moss, weeds and crab grass. I want to completely renovate the lawn. We also want to install a row of privacy trees along the back fence line which may require rebuilding/relocating the existing brick edging to provide enough space between the fence and the lawn. The lawn is approximately 200 sqare metres and the back fence is the full width of the 60 ft wide lot.
Looking to hire a contractor/sub contractor company to do the lot servicing work in Coquitlam. This will involve new sanitary/sewer connections, sidewalks, landscaping, roadworks etc. Civil drawings are being reviewed by the city and can be supplied for more accurate quotes.
Please reply with quotes and indicate any similar work done in the Vancouver area, preferably in Coquitlam.
Thanks.
We are looking at purchasing a home but before we put an offer in we want an approximate estimate. It's a split level home and we would be looking into enclosing a 2 car garage, redoing the kitchen to expand into that area and to make a laundry/mad room (laundry currently there). We would also be looking to expand the top floor to over the car port to include more bedrooms. We also are wanting to expand the right side of the house (currently 2 levels) to make a larger living room and bedroom. I can send the MLS # so one can get an idea of the home.
Thank you.
We are looking to construct two meeting rooms in our clubhouse. Requirements:

-No ceiling but construct overhang to install light fixtures.
-doors with windows
we can start on this at anytime

Cheers
1) move door (garage to inside home) and stairs to face the side and cover up current set up. Move wires, door and stairs and drywall/paint after.
2) patch two holes (2”x2”) in garage wall and paint.
3) replace one piece of cedar soffit that has fallen onto the roof. Nail back up to secure.
4) provide front doorbell with 2 wires (and transformer).
Important note: this is a small project, and need good plumbing experience to figure a way to get hot water from the hot water tank to the new location of washer.
Site conditions - currently room is used as a storage, little to almost no insulation. Floor is concrete. A plywood counter. Two mounted cabinet.
Square footage - not sure I would say about 200 sq ft
preferred materials - Heated Tiles for the floor.
House is 30 years old.
Bathroom has been framed, drywalled, and tub installed. Have vanity purchased, and lights. Need tiling, painting and toilet placement, finishing. Other area requires upgrading piping (drop ceiling), and putting in flooring, kitchen, lighting, and doors. Gas to be brought into suite area (lines less than 4 ft from both existing lines), for gas fp and gas stove.
I can supply most materials as I have some already. Be helpful if you are able to get me better rates on things I don't have.
Looking for trustworthy, reliable, respectful, clean, references, great work, competitive pricing, and someone who can complete work by May 1.
We are moving in a 40-years-old well-maintained house in October. The building will be accessible after September 30 noon. The scope of work might be different depending on your consultations. Hardwood flooring (about 1000 sf) in three bedrooms, LR & DR on the main (high priority - to be done in the first 8-9 days of October), heated floors in the basement (could be hardwood or tile), possibly a heat pump installation, possibly 1 or 2 fireplaces upgrades, sauna and shower cabin installation, finishing about 550 sf of unfinished basement, etc.

I have a town house, bought it a year ago only, so I decided to go for supporting the structure and made the floor hardwood and the basement granite. Besides that, I need to change the fire place and adding some lighting at the living room with servicing the duct of heating system, and ma be I will go for installing new air conditioning system.
I have a few reno's on a new place that include
1. Installing a hatch to crawl space in hallway,
2. Move vacuum into closet (in crawl space above closet),
3. Move toilet 45degrees (installed facing wrong direction)
4. Move Fireplace (electric, with tile surround) to middle of room on same wall),
5. Move Built in entertainment centre to basement,
6. Small brick patio 10 X 15.
House is in Coquitlam BC and was built in 1982.
We are looking to remove a 13 foot load bearing wall with an exposed reclaimed beam. We had a structural engineer draw up plans and those specify that we will need to beef up the crawl space below as well as install the beam.
We have a permit from City Hall, but need a contractor.
There is electrical in the wall from old light switches.
The 2x4 framing is up, the wall is untouched other than the dry wall.
We have sourced the beam, we just do not have the skills to do the work.
Please contact us. As we would like the job done asap.
1) finishing ground floor, make living room
2) move furnace, hot water
3) add a half wash room for new living room
4) make new kitchen from garage (take half of garage room)
5) remove a master bathroom
6) remove kitchen on second floor
7) change old living room on 2nd floor to master bedroom with an new bathroom
We are located in a very unique environment. Our small backyard is adjacent to a pretty lake running into Coquitlam river. Right now the house is a bungalow with three bedrooms. The total area is about 1250 sq feet. It has a crawl basement. We have been thinking to renovate the house and hoping to find a very good designer and contractor with unique ideas and styles and quality. We prefer to renovate it by addition or alteration as we are happy with the size and the layout. but if someone can persuade me with a good plan, we will accept the idea of knocking it down and building a new one from scratch.
Looking for someone who would also like to make the house their master piece.
Thank you in advance.
Hello,
I am interested in taking down 2 walls down in my townhouse to have an open floor concept on my main floor. The total square footage of my main floor is under 600 sq ft and the walls are no larger than 5-7 ft in length. I am the owner and the renovations have already been approved by my strata. One of the walls is in the kitchen so there would be a small kitchen renovation moving the fridge and small counter top.
Thank you,
Sarah
