Hello. I'm looking for someone who would like to work with me in renovation my kitchen. I'm located in North Delta, on Scott road and Nordel way. I'm looking for converting a wall into an island, changing the ceiling lights to a drop ceiling for pod lights and shuffling the position of some of the appliances, which means reshuffling some cabinetry. I would like to keep the old cabinetry. If i could get a quote that would be great. I would also like to quote for a replacement of carpet on the whole apartment. Its about 1000sqft. I would like to replace it with hardwood with heated floors.
Thank you.
We are wanting to update our kitchen... will be removing a wall, giving it into a "great room" feel. house is typical 1970's home, never been remodeled. Kitchen area is small, currently covers 10x9 (two walls). Looking for contemporary feel, light in colour - hubby wants white, I don't - too high maintenance. Not a busy kitchen, so not looking for high end or gourmet results. Need to incorporate a dishwasher, more outlets and expect we will need an island to create more available surface and cupboard space. no water on the island, but open to anything else. Ceiling lighting is a couple of recessed fluorescents, with an additional light over sink. Flooring will need to be mixed between the living/dining area and kitchen area (whole space is approx 20x23) - thinking of linoleum in kitchen space. Not really looking at replacing appliances, prefer white vs chrome.
This will be the main project, but will also be looking to reno the bathroom shortly, so would consider doing both at the same time, particularly if rejigging the space might work out better.
We can start this any time, now or in a few weeks, so quite flexible.
Wanting to update small residential kitchen (approx. 100 sq. ft.) Change countertops, update/change backsplash, change light fixtures and perhaps add additional lighting, modify or add different cabinet to accommodate over the range fan/microwave combination, add door/drawer handles and pulls to cabinets.
We will take possession of our new home in early April, and we're hoping to find out how much it would cost to renovate our kitchen.
The project will involve taking out a wall that separates the kitchen and the family room (marked in red color on the floor plan), rearranging the appliances, possibly moving the sink to the island, new countertops, possibly new cabinets, new laminate flooring in kitchen and in family room, maybe repaint the whole area.
Alternatively, if the wall is load bearing and taking it out may go over our budget, we would also consider plans to do a cut-out, or just leave the wall as is and renovate the kitchen without rearranging the layout. We're flexible and are willing to consider many plan options.
We are looking for a team that can finish the project before the end of April. Because it may involve modifying the structure of the house, the team should also have or help us get in contact with a structural engineer. Our budget is $35,000.
If you think your team can provide the service please feel free to contact me. Thank you.
