I need my garage door covered (a wall built) prior to getting my house painted. It would also have to be plastered to match the rest of the house. The garage is now a bedroom with a false wall inside, it was insulated, wired, and to specs. The outside door is buckling a bit...as garage doors do...so I figure it needs to be sealed (again) then just have a wall and plaster to match the outside. I'm unsure of the exact size of the door...it was a 1.5 garage before it was made into a bed room.
Many thanks,
Beth

We are planning to build our log home in the Okanagan area, preferably in Lake Country. We are looking for a 2-3 bedroom log home with 2 bathrooms. Construction cost should not exceed $200k. We do have some cash to accommodate financing until bank draws can be taken. We are looking for a General Contractor to organize all trades, including log home company. Our ideal home is very simple in design and features to accommodate the budget.
Hello.
I am looking to turn a window from my master bedroom into french doors that lead to deck.
The deck is on the second story and will need stairs going into yard.
I addition I will need tile put in bathroom and two windows cut in corner of bedroom where bathtub will be installed.
The bedroom has small bathroom with separate walk-in closet and I am looking to make the whole room an open concept suite with deck access.
The last contractor I had, renovated my kitchen and then took off with all of my tools, so I am looking for someone who is honest and reliable.
Thank you,
Lisa

I am tendering out a chain of home renovations. I just bought my home here in Kelowna in September. This is my first home and its not quite up to date. Time to freshen it up. Being that I do not have the connections here that I had in Calgary, I am tendering so I can meet and get to know the contractor in my home.
The first project: My ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet combination. Bigger than most. This will be a complete redo. Not your typical ensuite either. I have ideas. I want this room to be my wow room.
Subsequently, the price, service, and creativity will put this contractor in line for projects 2-4 accordingly.
Project 2: Basement
Project 3: Multi-tier deck
Project 4: Kitchen

Townhouse rancher with w/o basement was built in 2004 by Dilworth Homes and is presently vacant. Will arrange to meet contractors at the site in the near future.
I would like to have a window well put in. There is no current window in this area so you would need to cut out part of the foundation.
I like the square egress windows and the natural stone (brick) window well look.
Hopefully the window well will be a but deeper in the ground than in the picture.
Can you quote me for a 4 ft. square window and a 3X5 window?
I wonder if any windows come with the bars in them for security.
The suite will be free from April 25 - May 8th. Then I will be moving downstairs.
