I have a small bathroom with a full tub and shower, i would like a quote on how much it would cost to pull up the linoleum flooring, checking and possible replacing some of the flooring, checking for leaks and repairing them behind our existing tub/shower and replacing the water taps as well as the shower head.
What will it cost me for a complete bathroom renovation, 5' x 12', if I have to completely stripp it down to the struts, in a town house complex?
I would like to remove the existing tub, and put in a stand in shower, tile the full shower with slate like non skid tiles, same for the flooring throughout the bathroom, put in a glass shower door, have a tile ready shower flooring, and a new toilette & washbasin (both not too expensive) have the walls painted, put in 8 pot lights.
Please do get in touch with me as I would like to know first hand the cost for this project.
Thank you

If this is already posted 100 times, I am sorry. I do not see how this actually works. I would like someone to come see what can be done and how long it would take.

Owner owned house
We have two bathrooms. Both are aproximately 25 square feet and both need the same work done.
Floor: Currently tile. We would like the tile removed or a new tile floor put over it.
Toilet: Standard design with back tank. Replace. Nothing fancy needed.
Sink: Single basin attached to the wall. Replace. Nothing fancy needed.
Optional,
New mirrior fixture and light above the mirror. Currently the light is a single bulb mounted in the ceiling.
New drywall over existing walls which currently is a mix of concrete blocks and drywall.
Our ensuite shower stall in in need of replacement. The domino effect shows we will need a partial renovation, including the ceiling, bathtub replacement plus separate shower. Probably would also need new flooring in bathroom. We are looking for quality workmanship. Home built in 1992. Bathroom is 9'4" x 9'10.5". We installed new countertop, cabinets, floor, sink and toilet 4 yrs ago, but did not redo the shower or bathtub. Layout is pocket door in centre of wall, sink, counter, toilet run down the left side and adjoining glass shower stall, jacuzzi tub down the right hand side. Large glass block window on wall opposite to doorway and a large skylight in centre of ceiling. Previous leak in skylight shows water staining on ceiling, so would like this fixed. We do not want/need another jacuzzi tub. Would prefer soaker tub, possibly a stand alone (not sure of cost).
On the right hand side - wall next to tub and shower - on the other side of this wall is our garage. The wall in the garage is bowed out and while inspector did not think this was more than a settling problem (verbal history is that this wall bowed outwards when settling, no sign of structural damage other than esthetic.), we would like to have the wall repaired. Garage wall is 21'3" w x 9' h. The portion that is bowed is about one foot from the bottom across the wall. Looks to be about 2" bowed out.
Not sure what other information you would need.
Removal of tub and existing fibreglass walls. Removal of old wall board. Installation of new concrete board. Installation of new standard size deep tub (composite). Finishing of wallboard. Installation of tile and grout.
Existing floor tile not to be disturbed.
Possible removal of ceiling box for old enclosed shower/bath door requiring installation of ceiling drywall and refinishing of ceiling. (smooth finish) currently smooth. 4'x6'
New vent window currently installed in shower.
Paint to be completed by owners.
Contractor inspections welcome.
Bathroom, baseboards, and doors.
I am getting new flooring installed on Jan3/2018. After this (Jan 8) i will need to get the following done:
1. Reinstall toilet
2. Reinstall vanity,
3. Install approx 150ft of baseboards
4. Re-hang 2 closet bi-fold doors hardward to floors
Are you interested in this type of work? I live in Walnut Grove in Langley. Please let me know if you are interested and if you have any questions.
Thanks, Phil
Create a 8'x10' room, of 2"x 6" construction. Placed behind a vestibule only two walls, (one with a door) and a ceiling are required.. A drain with hot/cold water connections are required on the outside wall of the bathroom (opposite the bathroom sink) as kitchenette will be installed at a later date. This is a new building and drain and water supply has not been installed, this means cutting the floor (no more than a 30').The bathroom requires toilet, sink and shower stall. You will supply drywall, door framed, framing, 3 outlets (two outside, one inside bathroom),light in side bathroom, toilet, small sink in cabinet 30" wide, and possibly a shower stall, (36" x 36") I think I can get this done for $15,000. Let me know what you think.
Don't forget this is an Industrial building, so it doesn't need to be house class.
