We are planning to expand our kitchen by enclosing the deck adjacent to it. The kitchen is on the North side of the house and is roughly 14 feet wide by 14 feet deep. The porch/deck area is on the north side of the kitchen and is an open but covered part of the house (i.e. the house roof extends over it) and is roughly 16 feet wide by 10 feet deep. I.e. essentially we want to expand the kitchen depth to 24 feet. We want to maximize our living space while at the same time maintain an open feel to the expansion. So, we desire lots of big windows, especially as the porch faces north with a great view of Golden Ears. Ideally, if possible we want the back wall of the current kitchen to be removed or opened up into the expansion.
I have an existing wooden deck that needs repair it is sinking in some areas partly because of a cement wall that is pushing down on it and supports underneath seem to be sinking in other areas too. I need it assessed to see if any of it is salvageable or if i need a whole new deck.

4. Looking for a permanent cover for the deck as well.
Hi, I live in Maple Ridge. I'm looking to get a quote if possible on a rear deck (approx 6 ft high) and capable of holding a hot tub. I believe the deck it will be about 20 ft long by 9 ft wide and will attach to an existing deck.
The deck we want is similar to the photos only the tub is on the deck, not sunken in and has approx 3 ft of space around it.
The last photo is how it currently exists.
I am looking for an estimate to build a 20x10 ft 2nd level deck with a cover, railings, and vinyl floor. Also stairs leading up to it with a walkout platform. Also we would like to move the laundry from our garage area to a enclosure on the new deck. The concrete on the ground level will need to be removed and re-poured using rebar to strengthen. Contractor will need to submit drawings to the city for permits.
Kindly call me to view the space and discuss details for an estimate.
Our 450 sf rear deck is in need of major structural support repair along one 32' side. The deck is approximately 18 years old with a pressure treated board surface which are still sound. Unfortunately the front edge supports (non pressure treated) have rotted due to water damage. We are looking repair this area with the least possible disruption to the rest of the deck.
Rebuild a deck made form treated wood measures 10' X 36' height 10' above the concrete plate . Replace plywood, membrane, flashing, covering from treated wood , post and railing around front side of the deck ( 46linear fit). Replace 120 sqf vinil soffit under the deck.
Please give me a rough estimate
