I have a gas fireplace in my condo with your typical cheap mantel that builders put in. I want it ripped out and a new wood mantel built over the gas fireplace. This is a cash job as I would like to get it done in the next two weeks while i'm on vacation or built and then installed on a weekend following. There are 4 - 1 ft granite tiles in front of the fireplace now so i'd also like to ensure floor is complete in front of the new mantel.
I want solid wood
Hello,
Our house is a 1940 gingerbread house in New Westminster BC.
Our windows still seem to be good but we have 4 wood exterior window frames that are rotting and we would like to have replaced.
Also, we may be interested in some interior work wainscotting in our dinning room. We are looking for an estimate.

I need 2 wood planter boxes built & delivered, suitable for rain/sun. Outside dimensions of each: 3' square, 4" deep. On 1" tapered runners so they do not sit directly on the surface, and drain at one edge's drain holes. These will replace existing planters (photo attached).
We have an 8-step wooden staircase leading up to the main floor in the back of the house. It is rotting and would like to have it torn down and replaced. Our budget is $1000, but are unsure of what a project of this nature costs, so we put that $ figure out there. The house itself was built in the 50's, but I think this staircase was added at least 15 years ago.
