My place needs a bit face lift. Nothing major. All cosmetic works. I am thinking of baseboard fixing, interior painting (at least 3 rooms), wallpapering, changing lighting fixtures, replacing closet sliding mirror doors, possibly building an interior door, etc. I was wondering if you have any references and photo that show your previous work. Also, please let me know your pricing. Do you charge hourly labour or ?
I live in New Westminster and my first floor apartment is 850 sq.
Thanks a lot.
old timer home in new westminster. Porch on back of the house currently is roofed with plexiglass type material. We are hoping to have an open deck with railings but no roof. Posts to deck in need of replacement.
Main bathroom renovation requiring expanding bathroom. Wish to put in new tub and separate glass/tile shower.
We have recently bought a 4 year old townhouse in New Westminster. The main living area is split level with the kitchen and dining table space about 5 steps up from the living room space. From the dining table area there is a wall with a ledge where you can look over to the living room. It does not seem like a structural wall as no beams connect to it in any way. There is an outlet in this wall in the dining space so some electrical does run through it.
We would like to remove the part of the wall from the dining area floor up (the railing part) and replace it with a glass (or plexi glass) railing. There is tile in this area so perhaps some sort of ledge like in pics 4 and 5 would need to be built - obviously this is where your expertise would come in.
We take possession on May 30th and would be looking to have someone come in and quote on May 31st.
Thanks! Erika
This is a small number of simple repair tasks which could probably could be done in a day. See the pictures.
1. Hall closet sliding door runners seem to be a bit of a hack job and so the door doesn't sit level and doesn't stay properly closed. Reinstall runners and reseat the door.
2. Powersanding of a small raised area on a windowsill where water from a flower pot expanded the wood (it's been dry for years now but the bump is still there).
3. Baseboard heater detaching from wall, needs to be reseated in place.
4. Install a simple frame around an electric fireplace to make it look nicer.
5. Repair/replace a tear along the base of a kitchen cabinet.
Hello!
I have two 40" x 60" pictures that need to be hung on the upper half of a 20 foot wall. I am really hoping to have someone for this Friday January 27th as I took the day off specifically for this, and the guy I had hired cancelled on me. The job may take 2 people? And some very tall ladders, or scaffolding?
We have an old Hotpoint wall-mounted clothes dryer that has to be removed and lowered to the floor. The mounting fixture etc will then have to be removed from the wall and any wall damage repaired. It has already been disconnected from the vent.
We have purchased a new washer & dryer which have been delivered but the delivery company could not/would not take the old dryer until it is on the floor.
This will required 2 people to safely lift then lower the appliance. This job does not include taking the dryer away, just taking it & the mounting hardware off the wall and placing it on the floor
