My mother has been recommended for this home adjustment by the occupational therapist- who will be applying to DVA for the funding. DVA requires at least two quotes - and I assume that their decision is based on cost. I am not sure how long the approval process is- work can start once it is approved.
Changing a cupboard into a bathroom for licensing.

The space for a powder room is currently a shed with cement foundation and 2.5 cement walls. An opening would have to be made through the laundry room in order to access the new powder room. The exterior shed door will have to be replaced by a wood wall, insulation etc.
I am the property owner.
I am looking to remodel the following in my townhome:
Kitchen cabinets and counter top
3 Bathroom cabinets and counter tops
I am looking for estimates to reface the existing cabinets. I am attaching a picture of the kitchen and bathroom. The three bathroom cabinets are same size and small.
I don't know what types of cabinets or countertops to get but I am looking for something economical and cost efficient.
I am looking for free in home consultation so that I can understand what is the best way to approach this.
Thank you
I have a small kitchen and bathroom renovation including minor kitchen wall demo including electricity wiring adjustment.
Cabinets and appliances would be from Ikea so I pay for it and I have budget on tops 3000 for labour work.
I need Licensed contractor with insurance and reasonable price. If you could send a estimator this weekend, that would be great.
Cheers
Hi There, My wife and I would like to get a quote to have our main bathroom renovated.
We would like to replace the tub, vanity and all tile and hardware to bring it up to modern standards. No changes of position to any plumbing is required.
Our time frame is 30-60 days
We live in North Vancouver, please email me with any questions or to arrange a time to come by for a look.
Thank you!
Robert
Master ensuite in need of complete renovation. Sized at about 9 x 5 feet, currently three piece (shower, toilet, vanity).
Project vision: glass shower fully tiled, install new toilet, install new vanity, re-tile floor, install pot lights (about 4), valance light (1-2), GFI all outlets, perhaps an updated sliding door. Current orientation is non-functional, so we envision movement of plumbing from current location.
I would appreciate your responses and we can speak in more detail. Thanks
I have more photos I can send. We are looking to get a new tub installed, the size of the current tub is too small (less than 5') so we are going to put in a regular size tub. This requires taking down a flimsy closet wall (maybe just putting up some shelves in the smaller space later). New faucets will need to be installed as well. There appears to be a false ceiling above the tub but we do not know why it is lowered. If it doesn't need to be we would like to remove it and create some more space in the bathroom. The toilet and vanity do not need replacing but we would like to re-tile the whole bathroom. We are limited on time, and would like the renovations to begin first thing in July. Unfortunately we do NOT have access to the home any longer and the quote would have to be based on our measurements, and on the photos. Do let me know if you are interested! Thanks
To strip the existing vanity, remove and replace doors, white colour, replace counter top with marble of granite, replace the faucet, mirror, paint the room, fit the wall behind the new comfort height toilet. I have attached photos that I hope can assist your review.
Regards:
Chuck
I live in a condo.
Remove mirror on the wall, its size is 56 inches by 51 inches
Remove bathroom vanity - cabinet, laminated counter top, and sink. Vanity size is 31 inches wide, 21 inches deep, and 31 inches high.
Remove floor ceramic tiles in the bath room, the tile area is 5ft by 5 ft.
Take the debris to the dump?
( prior to the above removal tasks, I will have a certified plumber to disconnect the pluming of the sink and toilet, this is to following the Strata rules that I am required to use a certified plumber to do plumbing work)
Length 73.5"
Width 19.5"
Backsplash: 73.5" x 3.5"
There is an existing oval washbasin (18W x 15" D), which I may replace with an undermount.
Materials: granite or marble with bevelled edge.
I have my own plumber, unless you can do your own plumbing.
The downstairs stand-up shower in our home needs new tile, base, hardware and door. It's basically the kids bathroom so we're not looking to go high-end. All plumbing is in good, working order and can all remain where it is. The house is 40 years old. The sooner the job can be started, the better.
Hello,I would like a quotation for a small bathroom renovation job. The tenants will move out by December 1st. This is a strict co-operative run building. The bathroom is approx. 60" x 96" .
The job is as follows:
-remove and dispose of old vanity, tub and toilet
-replace any water damaged drywall
-tile the sink area and shower back splash
-tile the bathroom floor
-install a GFCI outlet
-remove old exhaust fan and install a new exhaust fan
-remove old lighting and install new modern lighting
-install subway tile onto my kitchen floor: 7' x 7' area
-replace 60 AMP fuse box with new Breaker box
Small bathroom 5 feet by 8 and a half feet needs floor leveling without increasing the height of the floor, bathtub and tile surround removed, shower installed- two sides with shower curtain rail, sink and cabinet replaced, toilet leveled and re-installed, cupboard installed, new fan and/or exhaust system which could maybe be a window, possibly heat lamp removed.
Exisiting Bathroom (Tenant)...
In general, looking for the most cost effective solution:
Issues:
1.) Shower surround - old/ dated/ semi detaching from the wall.
2.) possible leakage around tub
3.) bathroom in question, is on the ground floor, and there was a small leak from the above bathroom.
minimal damage to wall, some water staining...
Looking for quote to eliminate leaks/piece of mind and fix plumbing and bathtub surround.
a.) Surround, tile or ideal plastic surround, to additional support. lifting holders etc.
