Looking to totally remodel our condo kitchen and bathroom and do painting and hardwood throughout our 1175 sq ft. condo. Kithcen reno would include, if possible (depending on costs and permitting/strata allowances) the repositioning of the kitchen sink to an a newly custom build island, repositioning of plumbing to accommodate a new fridge with water dispenser, moving stove and laundry ventalation systems, and removing one wall. would also like to replace and move existing cupboards and place backsplash throughout, new granite countertops and updated lighting. kitchen is approximately, 135 sq ft. Would like to lay hardwood floors and paint throughout 1175 sq. ft condo. For batroom #1 (8.5 ft * 5.5 ft not including stand-up shower inclosure which is 3ft*3ft); also looking to replace all floor tiling incorporate a second sink and a custom storage cabinet. bathroom #2 (8ft*5ft including bathtub enclosure) would like new tiling, vanity cabinet, sink and countertop, as well as bathtub/shower tiles. For livingroom would like to retile fireplace, replace mantel and update lighting.
Basement drains inside need cementing, bathroom built, reno main bathroom, kitchen update, front & back entrance steps replaced (cement). Kitchen flooring, drop ceiling in basement. some siding to be replaced. Basically a major update is needed.
The house is an 70 year old Tudor in Capilano, N. Vancouver.

There are two areas that need to have pony walls erected.
Demolition - remove 3 one that is 6 feet, pony walls, including a glass partition; remove cupboards, move signage.
Build - 56 sqf room - 1 Pocket door, with window, move 2 electrical outlets, 7 ft walls.
Build - 72 Sqft room with 1 pocket door, with window. 7 ft walls.
Doors to be translucent glass, lockable, with Life Moves Logo.
Move two signs. Paint, replace flooring.
Job needs to be done in later evenings, 11 am - 4:00pm, or weekends.
This one is a bit hard to describe. Previous owners had resolved a slope issue where the front corner of the house had sunk about 5 inches. So the slope was fixed, however, the floor of the house still slopes (impacts 1 room). We need a solution to level the sloped floor. Beneath the room impacted is a carport. Our house is 2 story, with first floor backing into below grade. Also, the carport is cracked/uneven so will need leveling/re-surfacing.
Will need a site visit to understand work required.

We are looking at putting our home on the market and are in need of some assistance with ‘deferred maintenance’ as our Real Estate Agent so nicely put it.
We need:
A full interior and exterior paint. Interior also needs some wall repairs (no drywall repairs (I think!) just filling of some holes). There are base boards in our living room/family room. We would like all of the doors painted also (closet and bedroom). We will be replacing the carpet that is down in the bedrooms which should help with prep.

We have a small carpentry job in our hall area. At one time we put in stairs down to our basement. We have since taken out the stairs and replaced the floor however, we still need the old closet dry walled off and our closet doors put back in. I can email photos which will make sense on this one.
We need laminate flooring installed on two sets of three stairs. We may also need a hallway 8ft x 3ft done – depending on how much laminate we have/if we can find more)
We would like “sticky laminate” (peel and stick) installed in our foyer, laundry room and 1 bathroom.
We need someone to come in and assist with some small jobs – installing new light fixtures, smoke detectors and curtain rods.

We are looking for someone who can do all of the following in our townhouse. We are the owners.
1) refinish hardwood floors on main floor of house and master bedroom (about 600 sq feet). We would like them sanded/smoothed out and stained in a different colour.
2) remove carpet and install new hardwood floors upstairs (about 220 sq feet). We would like to try and match the existing hardwood that is downstairs, which is birch.
* the other alternative is to just remove all the existing hardwood and carpet in those areas and get new hardwood. We want to do it in the most economical way.
3) remove carpet and install laminate flooring or new carpet in basement rec room (180 sq feet)
4) cover over existing painted popcorn ceiling to make a smooth finish, approximately 1600 square feet of ceiling.
5) install 4 or 5 drop style lights in living room (vaulted ceiling) and one overhead light in master bedroom
6) refinish laundry room which is currently unfinished. We want to add drywall and a ceiling and add a wall and door to separate the furnace and hot water tank area from the rest of the room. We might also want to add an inexpensive counter top and replace the old sink that is down there and rearrange the placement of the existing cupboards. Square footage of this unfinished laundry area is about 160 sq feet.
7) replace 5 standard sized windows and possibly 2 sliding glass doors depending on cost
8) alter existing small coat closet in hall way, we want it made deeper and a door added.
9) put up a wall to separate master ensuite from walk in closet (currently the bathroom and close are in one area, not separated) Whole area is 10 X 6.
10) other minor repairs as needed such as fixing some small holes in dry wall, applying new caulking around the edges of a bathtub.
We put 1-2 weeks as start date but can be flexible.
