I would like to start with a built in white corner desk on a 65" x 102" wall with shelving. Then would like to have crown moulding installed on the main floor (approx 20'x35') as well as a surrounding and mantle for an electric fireplace (approx 50" x 15" x 40").
Small job to take out ineffective shelving and clothes hanging wooden rods in two clothes closets opposite to each other in hallway to master bedroom’s bathroom.
Replace rods, some touch up painting, remove mirrored covered sliding doors for bifold type doors
I can provide pictures if needed.
Hello Pros!
We have a townhouse and the previous owners started the installation of crown moulding. There is approximately 50 feet installed that has not had the holes/gaps filled. There is also approximately 25 feet remaining requiring installation.
We would like a quote to install the remaining crown moulding and fill/gap all of it. If the same crown moulding material cannot be located (we saw it at home depot a few months ago) then an estimate to remove/replace is needed.
I need 185 feet of crown moulding installed to my kitchen/nook/family room that are all in one open space. There are about 23 angles within which includes a custom built entertainment unit that we want enclosed by the crown moulding as well. I've been told by another contractor that I need someone who uses lasers for measuring and cutting the moulding. Also my walls have rounded angles, and I have 2 bay windows within the space. We already have all the materials. Just need someone to cut, install and finish.
I am a homeowner that has recently had installed a regular wood beam as a fireplace mantle above our current fireplace only to find out the ends of the beam are slightly irregular/slanted and need to be sanded/planed or sawed down to be evened/straightened out.
Work is only needed on the beam ends.
I am hoping that there is someone that can take on this small job.
Thank You for your time!
Kim
Need base, crown, window and door trim installed in a basement (approximately 900-1000 lineal feet of trim to be installed). The project is at the point where this work could start within a week or two (the work to this point, studs, electrical, drywall, plumbing has been done professionally).
The doors have been ordered but the trim has not.
Please contact me if you are interested.
We have been doing renovations on our townhouse and have a couple of final finishing items which we are looking for help with. Baseboards in our laundry room and kitchen and replacing a few baseboards in the living room where a puppy used them as a chew toy. We also have some crown moulding that we would like a quote on.
Hi, I'd like to get quality work done for the following projects at a reasonable price:
Crown molding in living/dining space, 2 bedrooms
Painting 2 bedrooms (small), living, dining room and kitchen
Replace kitchen cabinets, tiling in kitchen floor
Total square footage not more than 1200 sf.
Provide all required services, materials and labor for the fabrication / assembly and installation of cedar wood frame, with a safety glass covered roof (24" wide glass panels). The total area is approximately 120 sq feet and involves an elevation change of 5 feet. The canopy design to be based on providing a 8 foot clearance above the hot tub. The area surrounding the hot tub is concrete formed, which can be used to support the cedar posts.
Put big concrete pads under garage stairs to keep it level.
I put a picture of a previous next door neighbour who did their stairs but I don't want it all the way to the lane. Just one more set in front of the ones that will go under the stairs.
Remove the railing near the gutter and put in a smaller one with boards instead of pickets and put it on the steps too.
This Job is located at Sasquatch Mountain (formerly known as hemlock)
I am looking to get quotes this week, preferably the weekend. May 30th weekend.

I need some outdoor stairs rebuilt. The current stairs are rotten and no longer safe. The current Stairs lead to the second story.
Currently they are located under the roof envelope due to the amount of snow that comes off the roof.
The idea was good in principle however they were built blocking a sliding door that also needs to be replaced and currently not possible as the stairs block the door.
The new stairs need to be built away from the building maybe in a L shape with its own cover to deflect the snow coming off the roof in the winter so it does not land on the stairs.
I can send pictures of the current stairs as it will give ideas how to replace.
I have a curved stair case which has laminate that has come unglued and needs to be redone with new laminate, bull nosing, treads, and risers. The existing spindles, Newal post, and the the railing for the stairs are numbered and just need to be installed.
The base of the stairs wooden end cap also needs to be replaced and a stair skirt installed on one side. I would like this work completed as soon as possible.
The difference in height between our kitchen and family room is too high to be comfortable and a bit of a hazard to my older family members. I need one step built to cut the difference in half. The step needs to be 18" wide and 6' long with a hand rail down one side with the other end butting up to the wall. All materials are available. The work needs to be completed before Christmas. I need someone who is a finishing carpenter.
Thank you.
