After a floor install and small renovations we need about 10 doors re-framed with the original style moldings and about 60 feet of base boards. The moldings and baseboards would have to be purchased but they are very a common style. The house is 20yrs old to give you and idea what the moldings and baseboards would look like.
Hi,
I got a 50inch by 20inch electric Fireplace mounted on my living room wall. The Fireplace front plate is about 4.75in (deep) from the wall. I would like to have it framed in, maybe on an ankle like a picture frame. looking like it belongs into the wall. As well hiding the plug and some Shelving below. Drywall or Wood. Could send Pictures.
We have a semi-enclosed area underneath a recently refinished 11'11" x 18'7" second floor deck/balcony. We would like to frame-in and finish the area to add an additional room/entryway to the ground level basement suite. The current entry to the basement is a sliding glass door which will become the opening to the new room.
The bottom of the deck is finished. The deck posts as well as pony walls are framed and stuccoed. The two short walls also have framed glass that extends to the ceiling. All of which will need to be stripped.
The entire area as well as the walkway down the side of the house is paved with concrete and has the typical slope you would expect to allow for drainage. A sub-floor will need to be built level with the existing house floor accommodating for slope.
On the long wall we want a 60" x 80" sliding glass door and a 30" x 48" slide-up window. On the short wall closest to the walkway we want a 36" x 80" man door and another 30" x 48" slide-up window.
Ideally we would like to move the supporting posts and beam for the balcony that are set approximately 2' from the end, to the end of the deck giving us a larger space of approximately 17'6" x 11'3". If it's not possible to move the posts and beam because of code or safety reasons, then we will build the outside wall where the post are currently located, giving us a space of approximately 17'6" x 9'5".
There is also an existing wood gate to get into the backyard. We would like to relocate it past the new man door.

Hi there,
Im in the middle of building a home and unfortunately I had to fire the framers for consistently not showing up, I gave them a number of chances before I had to let them go, there's still stuff to get done, majority of the trusses are complete just need some sheeting for the roof, stairs in the house and to continue the framing of the windows and a few things here and there, if you are interested I'm available anytime at 430 during the week and anytime during the weekend to meet you at the house for you to take a look.
Thank you for your time
Alan
I am in the process of obtaining a permit from the City of Surrey. I require a quote, Schedule B and Proof of Insurance in order to proceed. I am working with a Structural Engineer and have instructions from him. Both walls have been identified as weight baring walls. One wall is to partial take down and strength. The other wall is the back of a closet, take down completely and strength in the front of the closet which will be made into a doorway.
*Need quote, Schedule B, and proof of insurance to proceed
*Work to begin when permit is approved, which is now estimated to be about 3 months.
*Work is in the Surrey Central Area
*Quote for framing work only (take down and re-strengthen walls), no need to including drywalling.

I have a shed/workshop that is attached to my home. So there are only two walls that need repair and the roof is a deck surface. I would like a cost to re-frame what is needed, and the deck roof needs replacing and finishing. Joists under deck are sloped correct and appear ok. An approximate estimate would be nice then you can come see it. We can do the papering and the siding ourselves after repair/replacement. Thank you! The area/size is approx 8 x 10-11 feet.

It is a rather open design with a loft above where the bed is. We are looking for trusted framers who have done similar jobs before. This will be a wood based frame not steel stud.
