Looking to start a bathroom renovation immediately. I'm a little pressed for time and would like to have it completed before the end of November. I have almost all items already picked out (vanity, new tub, tiling, etc), I just need someone to now install it all.
I prefer someone who is a general contractor and can do most everything himself rather than act as a "project manager" and outsource it all and thus charge me more. Also would like someone who has proven past experience and very professional, and is up front about any potential problems that he may foresee with the project.
Thanks!

We live in a 1900 Kitsilano row home which has not been updated since the 1950's. We need to renovate the bathroom and also install a downstairs powder room under the stairs.
Bathroom details:
Currently the bathroom is two rooms - one with a rolltop bath and basin, and the second with a toilet. We need to knock these into one, and rearrange the room to make it more space efficient. It is small - about 6ft by 10ft. We also want to add a separate shower (neo-angle) which will involve closing off the toilet room door. We are going to tile the floor, shower and partway up the walls, but the walls and ceiling will need to be replaced as they are currently lathe and plaster.
Downstairs Powder room
At present this is a laundry room. It is too small for a toilet and basin, so we will need to extend into the kitchen about 2ft to create a useable space. We have tiles for the floor and will have a small toilet and corner basin. The walls will be plaster.
Laundry
We are going to use a large storage cupboard upstairs as a laundry, so need to run water across the hallway from the bathroom opposite to make this work. I imagine we will need a vent going up through the ceiling into the roof for the dryer ventilation.
Ideally we need someone who can begin the work at the end of April, beginning of May.
Please contact us with your business name and some client references, and we will be happy to show you around so you can give a more accurate quote.
Thanks
Esther

We are in a ground floor, one storey townhouse (building has two levels) built in 1989. We have two bathrooms that we are looking to renovate and both are original. We are looking to sell this year and the bathrooms are the only part left to update.
Bathroom #1 is 10x11, has a standard size vanity, toilet, and shower stall which is all tile. We would like to replace all existing shower tile and tile the floor, replace the toilet and vanity. There are some basic drywall touchups required as well.

All fixtures, lighting etc need to be replaced in order to bring these up to par, and are looking for someone to remove existing materials and install new ones. A creative flair would be a plus - we arent attached to any sort of design ideas but welcome anything that would look great.

Hello,
I reside in a 44 yr old townhouse that is in need of an update to its bathrooms. I have Three bathrooms to renovate. One located on the main floor that consists of a toilet and sink, and two on the upper floor. There is the main bathroom on the upper floor where the bathtub is and another bathroom in the master bedroom ensuite that has a shower. Hoping to have the renovations modern up the place and possibly looking for a new design layout especially in the master bedroom ensuite.

Hi there,
I am inquiring about the cost of a bathroom sink replacement. I have a white porcelain sink in my washroom that has been chipped on the outer edge and lightly cracked. The crack soon expanded and today a large piece (in the middle area of the sink) has completely fallen out. Now I have not only a cracked, but a huge gaping hole in my sink. The brand of the sink is Sottini.
I live in a highrise condo in downtown vancouver, the building was built in 2002 so it is fairly old.
Will I have to replace my countertop if I replace the sink?
How much do you think this will cost?
We want to completely gut and redo the bathroom.

We also need to fix the house's main shut off valve ( it still leaks when shut off)
