1. Re-grout bathtub tile (see images)
2. Re-caulk bottom of bathtub surround (see images)
3. Re-caulk around toilet base (see images)
4. Re-caulk around bathroom sink (see images)
5. Clean and re-grout front hall/kitchen/bathroom tile (not a large space ~ 90 sq. ft., the entire apartment is only 524 sq ft)
This project is to:
1) Remove the existing tile floor from a bathroom. There is a washer and dryer in the closet that the existing tile extends below. Assume that the countertop, vanity and toilet will all be removed, however, the washer/dryer will need to be moved as I lack the means to do so. Pictures attached - pay special attention to the tile that extends under the washer/dryer.
2) Install new tile in the bathroom. I have already purchased the desired tile and grout and it is on site.
Sq ft: 8ft x 4.5ft plus 3ft x 3ft under the washer/dryer.
New tiles dimensions: 11 5/8 x 23 1/2
Please comment/ask for any additional details you need to formulate an estimate
Hey!
We have a kitchen backsplash that needs to be done by next week in Downtown Vancouver. It is about 70inches x 20inches (around 10sq ft). We have looked at a few tile options from Julian Tiles.
We plan on getting 2 strips of small tiles (1inch x 2.5 inches) sandwiched between 6 large tiles (12inches x 24inches) (3 on top and 3 below). We can arrange for guest parking and have a small deck to cut tiles.
Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks!
I am needing a kitchen back-splash (approx 31 sqft along back wall and up between cabinets), and a small wall (approx 21 sq ft) to both be tiled - see attached pictures. We already have the tiles for both jobs, we are looking for the labor to complete the install. The back-splash would be using small white hexagonal tiles (approx 3" across - on a mat) with black grout. The small wall would be using a mosaic cut marble tile (on a mat - see attached picture), no grout is required.
Hello,
I'm looking for a attention to detail pro tiler that can change a band of tiling of tub surround.
It'll be less than 10 linear feet? (Six 12 inch X 12 inch meshes of mosaic would do), looking for somebody with low minimum or quick small weekend job.
This is a very small job, asking to remove one row of existing ugly fish tiles and replace with glass/marble mosaic tiles.
Please respond with job references and quote estimate.
Thank you
The job involves (carefully) removing several tiles (in order for the plumbers to access a pipe in the wall), and then replace with new tiles. Luckily, I have some extra tiles since the bathroom tiling was only done last year.
I need an estimate immediately, but the job does not need to be completed right away.
Renovation of interior of restaurant. Approx 330 sq ft between 'post and beam look' sections, above wood wainscotting.
Using thin brick tiles. Would like quote per square foot for install, as well as some quick advice first, as we need to know the most cost effective and/or time saving answer as what surface to adhere the thin brick to. Currently there are huge holes in drywall, so a surface needs to set between the beams in prep for tiling. What is the solution, and what is your install rate? Time is of the essence.
Project one: Install Kohler frameless 59€ tub door onto existing bath and within existing tiled bathroom walls (Note that mounting surface is existing € granite wall tile).
Project two: Tile an 18€ x 14€ x 4€ recess in bathroom. .
Project three: Re-tile fireplace. Remove existing tiles plus wood surround plus mantelpiece from fireplace, leaving fireplace gas insert in place. Install new floating mantelpiece. Repair and make good any damaged drywall.

Owner to supply tiles (projects 2&3). Contractor to supply all other materials (adhesive and grout).
I have purchased the tile from Home Depot (the square foot mesh sections) and sourced a rental tile saw (water kind) and will pay for the glue, grout etc separately. I seek to find out how much it would cost in labour a tile to tile 12.65 sq feet, there are 3 outlets to cut around and the rest of the space in just the wall below the shelving and above the counter top on one wall.
Kitchen - floor tile and backsplash installation (floors - 100 sqft; walls - 40 sqft)
Bathrooms - floor to ceiling tiles (floors - 115 sqft; walls - 100 sqft)
Bedroom + Living room - laminate (575 sqft)
Square footage is approximate. The work is in a 2nd floor condo unit. I will provide the tiles and laminate - all other materials to be provided by the contractor. Please provide cost and time estimates, as well as start date availability.
I need an estimate.
1. Kitchen Tile Work.
- Rip and replace current tiles with new tiles.
- The Rip: cabinets sit on top of tiles, but I don't want to remove the cabinets, so you'll need to cut around it with a circular saw. Most places have kick-boards you can remove, too. The floor is a bit uneven. E.g., 2 tiles have cracked over period of 4 years. I think the variable is about 3/16 of an inch but in very few places, so maybe that metal sheet from home depot needs to go in first. Just thinking out loud here. The floors were redone as part of a larger home renovation in 2009, so I think it's the settling, which is now done, or the work was shotty i.e., the floor level used didn't set before putting the tiles down. I'm not sure.
- The Replace: I can supply the tiles. I see some good prices from a wholesale tile place near 1st and terminal. If you got tiles for sale that suit my kitchen, I can buy from you. We're open to type of tile but want it to go with the area. I think the one we saw was about $3.8per sf. ft. Total area is 9.5ft x 11.5ft
2. Front Door Area Tile Work:
- Rip and replace current tiles with new tiles.
- The Rip: remove tiles. no leveling issues. Tucks just under the carpet plastic cover on two sides and under baseboards on the other two sides.
- The Replace: 5.5ft x 3.5ft. Same comments as the replace for kitchen in regards to the new tiles. We don't really need to do the front area, but since you're out here, we may as well considerate it to make it worth your while.
We are looking for a professional tiler and plumber to do a tub surround and floor in one bathroom (7'115'4) and the floor of another small bathroom (5'9x5'8) ASAP. The existing floor is linoleum in both bathrooms. No pipes are moving, only faucets to install for the new tub and vanities. Also, in late November, after the kitchen installation, a backsplash. Our strata requires some info before approving our reno, so we need someone who can provide a business licence number, WCB, insurance and building permits as early as possible.
Thank you
Tanya

The shower space is approximately 3' x 4'. The 3 shower walls plus the pony wall need to be tiled with 3" x 5.5" subway tiles & a top border tile which I have. The floor has already been tiled but needs to be grouted.
I will be using stone quart to cover the step up, the top of the pony wall, the window frame & top of bench so these areas do not need tiling.
Hello
The shower space is approximately 3' x 4'. The 3 walls & the pony wall need tiling with 3" x 5.5" subway tiles and a top border tile. I have all the tiles. I live in East Vancouver, close to Hastings Park. I need the work done very quickly.
I would be very grateful if someone would contact me in this regard.
Best, Sharon
I would like to replace the flooring for the kitchen/pantry, bathroom (2 pc) and the hallway that links them with Porceline tile. We are currently looking at 12x24 tile that would be laid against each other. No spacing, no grout lines.
Cost would include removal and disposal of other floor materials. Cement is underneath. Here is what is currently there with approx. measurements.
Kitchen: 6'6" x 8'6" (parquet flooring with cement under kitchen and stove)
Pantry: 3' x 8' (old linoleum - about 20 years old)
Hallway: 3'6" x 5' (engineered hardwood)
Bathroom: 3' x 7'6" (lineoleum with peel and stick vinyl and grout on top)
Bonus: remove vanity in bathroom and reinstall freestanding vanity.
Tile & Vanity would be pre-bought.
Cheers,
Melanie
