After having ABC Heating & Cooling do work at my house they sent me an invoice the next day for $519.75 which was a significant amount more then the $90/h I was told it was cost over the phone. With the amount of time they spent doing the job it should not have costed more then $400. After calling in to straighten the bill out they apologized for the "miscommunication" in the price given to me over the phone but refused to lower the price stating that I was already given discount on the final price and claimed that I knew of the cost.
I was very dissatisfied with the final outcome as it is not worth my time to do anything about this amount of money, and the fact that I was misinformed on the price over the phone.
I would recommend not doing business with ABC Heating & Cooling

We are happy to see that you were satisfied with the quality of our work, cleanliness and timeliness. It is unfortunate, however, that there has been a miscommunication between our front office and yourself and that is evident in your review of our company. After discussing your service and pricing options, we provided you with $700+ in duct cleaning and furnace maintenance services for $495+GST. Due to size of the discounts our office had already provided you, we are not able to offer any further reductions in price.
Our staff are very knowledgeable and professional in their positions and always strive to communicate clearly and effectively with our customers. We have gone ahead and altered our existing internal policies in an attempt to prevent similar future concerns from arising.

Our company is very actively involved in the local communities - including Raymond, Coaldale and Lethbridge. We participate in charities, fundraisers, parades (see our Hawaiian themed team?) and trade shows year round. We believe that putting ourselves out there helps us to connect to the people we serve on a better level. Knowing the first names of our customers and seeing them about town is part of what makes working and living in Southern Alberta so special.
