John did an excellent job building my basement suit and renovating my kitchen on my 108 year old house. The kitchen looks amazing and the basement suite was a breeze to rent out. Being an old property I posed many challenges that John handled like a pro. I especially appreciated his attention detail and fine finishing work. I would highly recommend his services.

I contacted John for some repair work needed on my home. He came by for a quote and I felt confident after our initial conversation. He was very good in giving different options and still hearing what I had wanted. Upon finding another issue John again pointed out options in tackling it, all the while leaving the final decision with me. He and his partner did a fantastic job rebuilding my front porch, replacing wooden trim around front of the house,as well as fixing moisture issue and assessing any future problems that may have occurred. Paid great attention to smallest detail. They were very professional and kept a clean worksite, will definitely hire again for future projects- highly recommend.

I hired ADAPT to finish my basement after getting a few quotes (from them and other contractors). The price was fair and lower than two others and my wife and I felt the best about our initial experience and discussions about what we wanted. John listened well and understood the ins and outs of what we needed.

We had a few specific requirements such as the timeline and the need to match up with everything else on our other floors. These requirements were all reasonably met and when small changes came up we were always given options. Even when we made a slight change to the floor plan after work started it was accommodated no problem.

Overall the experience was solid and we didn't feel put out or have to make large adjustments to our schedules /lives to accommodate the big project. We are very happy with the results as the basement looks great and the work done feels and appears to all be great quality. John made the whole process easy start to finish and I would hire ADAPT again to do work if I need any in the future.

My husband and I were very lucky to have found John with Adapt General Contracting. We wanted siding on our old stucco house and a new back deck. The finished product is beautiful. I couldn't have hoped for better results. John discussed his findings as he was working on our house. Quoted for blow-in insulation, checked soffit on original part of house (1934) for convection venting in attic, other companys didn't think about, very through about work. Have Adapt booked for siding.re-roof.
