Excellent work, large project done on time and on budget. Great communication and updates during the project, great guys to work with, very professional. I highly recommend AllPro for anyone needing any type of mechanical, plumbing etc. work!
James DeFehr,
The Stone Angel Brewing Company Ltd.
We have had various jobs of piping work and headers installed by AllPro Mechanical. They have done exceptionally great work all and all and have provided great service while doing the work. The workers were all good to work with and always completed the work on time as stated or before! They have always cleaned up after themselves after the work was finished! I have done many projects with Allpro Mechanical over the previous years.
We have used Allpro on a few different occasions for plumbing services at our residence. We detected a hot water tank leak at 11 pm on a Sunday night, I called Allpro and was able to arrange for a quick replacement the next day. They arrived when they said they would, they had the job done quickly and very well. The tank was an improvement over what we previously had, they cleaned up the plumbing around the tank to improve the aesthetics. The plumber that came explained everything that was done and why, went over all the pricing, which was on par with all the other plumbers that we had asked for pricing from. All installation mess was cleaned up and removed from the premise. All communication with Allpro was courteous and friendly with excellent communication of what work was required and how and when it was going to be done. I would highly recommend that anybody with plumbing issues hire Allpro.
Used an apprentice for a complicated wall unit install and failed to supervise. Had been assured had experience. Was a mess. Cutaways ended up in sewer line causing blockage. Charged me to clear the line. Said was just a regular back up. Kept occurring. Kept sending inexperienced apprentices who repeatedly failed to fix problem.
On the fourth back up, when apprentice AGAIN refused to listen to me re house trap, I got irrate and Julian refused to complete project as hired. Had to hire an outside company to locate and remove chunks of wood blocking house trap, and redo the wall mount toilet install. Refused to compensate me for extra costs incurred.
Very unfortunate that a year later Chris is still putting reviews online about my business and how we didn't serve her properly. The install was done as per Canadian Plumbing code and was inspected by a City of Winnipeg inspector and passed without any issues. I also have the document showing it passed the inspection. This tell me that my tech, who yes, was in fact an apprentice who has done many bathroom installs has properly executed his portion of the project.
There was a blockage due to wood cutaways being dropped in. We had charged her for the first time we came to site to drain clean. We couldn't make it in time for her second backup, where a different tech from another company found the wood cutaway. We told her we would reimburse her for that amount off her final bill for the project, (which we both agreed on). the second time we went to drain clean, (which was 1 month after our portion of the plumbing was completed) we found and pulled out many tampons out of the drain (which we also have photo evidence). Chris claims that this was not the issue as she has been flushing lady products down the drain for years. Had Chris not called yelling, cursing and being completely unacceptable over the phone, I would have offered to finish the project we started and given her a discount for the inconveniences. We did not return to do the finishing work, but left her with enough money to complete the remainder of the work(there wasn't much left to do, just a small amount of finishing work).
to summarize:
1. apprentice was used for the project (under a journeyman's supervision and walkthrough) - pulled plumbing permit and passed city of Winnipeg inspection - accusation is false.
2. - first backup was our fault. We had charged her. (didn't fix the issue). second backup, another company went and pulled out the piece of wood that we didn't know was there. at this point we offered her a rebate of the full amount of the drain cleaning on her bill.
3. we only returned to drain clean a second time 1 month later and only pulled out women products.
4.She claims we cleaned the drain 4 times - false, we have only been there twice.
5. she claimed we were responsible for her backup 1 month after the project and did not pay for our services. - false- this was due to women products and other items being put in the drainage
6.she also has an old building trap which are known for collecting and causing blockages easily.
7. she still had money from the project as we had not collected for the entire project. she had enough to finish up the project with another contractor as long as his rates were as fair as ours.
8. customer was very unreasonable and also very rude.
