Quality of the work was terrible! Allan used tile that was clearly chipped, used rough edges despite specifically asking him not to. He showed up on the day tiling was to start without a tile saw. He used off colored tiles and left an INCH gap at the bottom due to his own inaccurate measuring and unwillingness to do the job right by fixing his mistake. This caused for an over-sized grout line. On top of this, the grout was poorly done as well. It's uneven and plenty was left stuck to the tile itself. This job took over a week to do. He showed up on his own time which was inconsistent which made for the job to take much longer than what it could have been completed in. The over-sized grout line kept cracking so it was reassessed by someone working for him and was deemed improper and had to be redone. It took 8 hours for the new tiler to replace ONE row of tile. Granted it looks much better, the tiler still had to be requested to replace a tile that, again, was clearly chipped and we still have found another tile he used that was chipped. No one returned the next day to grout as they were suppose to. The gentleman he ended up sending in replacement of no one showing up to grout saw our shower and predicted we were going to have problems in the future given the work that was done. Though reasonable in the cost, quality was terrible and dealing with Allan was not overly pleasant often speaking with irritation and edge in his voice as if the crappy job and it's problems physically and esthetically were not his problem. He does not embrace a "do the job right the first time" attitude. Needless to say at least 4 people worked on this job and for now its finally "complete" a year later but doesn't look like it was a shower that was completely redone due to the numerous imperfections. If you're looking for headaches and shotty work, this is where you'll find it.
